This is an antique French Bronze trinket or jewelry box with a hand painted portrait on porcelain of Napoleon. Painting is in excellent condition with fine detailing. The box measures 4 1/2" by 3 1/2 inches across the top and is 1 3/8" tall. It is in excellent condition. But has some signs of previous cleaning with some type of polishing cream(some polishing cream remains in some of the bronze work) The box and the painting are unsigned.

Early 1800's Henri Marc French Empire Figural gilt ormolu bronze mantel clock
This is an antique early 1800's French Empire mantel clock by Henri Marc of Paris Set in gilt ormolu. It has a figure of a gent retraining his horse with lovely fine detail to the figure. The ormolu is beautiful and retains its rich original gilding. which is set off by 2 white marble panels the reverse of the clock has a couple of splits where the legs are see pictures. But it stands proudly so that is nothing to worry about. It has a porcelain dial with Henri Marcs name and the movement is impressed with Henri Marc and has the Japy Frere stamp as well. Presumably this clock was retailed or partly created by Henri Marc. It has been stripped and serviced and keeps good time. Although this will need adjusting at the new owners house. French Wall Clock. clock is in excellent condition, it does not run, but, looking at the movement, it is most likely a spring, or something minor that needs to be repaired, i am not a expert in clocks, but, the clocks movement is very clean for its age, as is the rest of the clock. the porcelain face is free of cracks, or chips, the gilt metal is also free of damage. even glass convex dial cover is free of damage. it comes with original Key, but, it is not shown in photo. clock measures 23" face is about 5 3/4" in diameter. the clock has 2 modern service stickers, not sure when it was serviced but it appears to have been in the last 20 years. the clock was a good friend of mine, that past away, it belonged to his mother, that past away as well. she traveled to france, ... moreand other countries numerous times, and must of picked this clock up in her travels.
