Large and BEAUTIFUL pair of FRENCH cast brass/bronze and marble candelabra date from the 1900s. They are heavy(6# each) and very well made with spike candle holders. The metalwork is straight and true. The design is flowers. Leaves, and acorns, moving from VICTORIAN into ART DECO eras. EXCELLENT condition ANTIQUES with no damage of any kind. They are 19" tall, 5" at the marble base(black/grey/gold) and the candle placements are 9" across. There are numbers visible on the leaves, 1220 and 148. These may be inventory numbers. Also a signature is present on the main leaf stalk in gold tone but is indecipherable. These are beautiful!

This Sèvres and gold-gilt bronze clock stands 22 inches high. 12 inches wide and 6 inches deep near its base. It has been on my mantel for about fifteen years and adds incredible beauty to my dining room. The clock uses a S. Marti et Cie. mechanism which dates between 1867 and 1889. The clock has been checked and lightly cleaned by a professional clock maker and is in excellent and accurate working condition. MECHANISM- The clock has an 8-day bell-striking movement which is stamped“ S. Marti et Cie” in the center with“ Medaille de Bronze” in a circle around it. Samuel Marti was awarded ... morethe Bronze Medal in 1860. The mechanism and the pendulum have the same serioal number. Samuel Marti et Cie was a well known clock maker in Paris in the mid eighteenth century. The Medaille de Bronze stamp was used during the period 1867– 1889. Clock has its original pendulum and key. PORCELAIN- The detail of a cherub on the porcelain face is very detailed and in excellent condition. The face and hands are original. There is a Sevres mark under the lid but it would requiring disassembling in order to get a good photo of it. It is the crossed“L’s” with“S” inside. Similar to Kovel’s Dictionary of Marks. Page 226. This mark was used starting in 1771 and into the second half of the 1800’s. ORMOLU- The ormolu is magnificent and very detailed. The metal is solid bronze with heavy gold gilt. this is an item that my aunt cherished- I don't know anything about it. It looks French to me but I really have no idea if it is or not, not sure what the metal is but it does not have any pull for a magnet. The base is ceramic or porcelain(see picture 5) the design is graceful, it could use a bit of cleaning but I don't want to mess anything up so the dust is included. The belt buckle is all hand painted and wonderfully made with exquisite and intricate detail with a wide use of different colors to give it a bright and lovely pallet! The belt buckle is in poor condition suffering from wear of use due to its long lasting age as its enamel has eroded as can be seen in pictures. But still evermore remains a treasure! This is very rare and probably the only of its kind and was made to commemorate the creation of Trains in the 19th century! The belt buckle measures 5 inches by 2.5 inches. I did a search on the SGA Memoire des Hommes and there was only one Lahoulle who served in the French Air Service and that was C apitaine Auguste LAHOULLE who was a FRENCH ACE with 10 confirmed kill s. H e went on to become a G ENERAL in WWII. The part with the name is actually cast sep arately(I have seen this on other French Medals of the period) and inserted into the aperture on the main medal. During my research I found th at the AERO CLUB of AMERICA set up a FOREIGN SERVICE COMMITTEE primarily to assist American Pilots but they then commissioned the medal with the intention of awarding one to every Allied Pilot. The medal was sculpted by Pierre ROCHE(so marked) and has an ART NOUVEAU style to it. The edge is marked BRONZE with the mark for the PARIS MINT. MACHINE AGE ART DECO FRENCH BAKELITE GALAITH CASEIN BRONZE BEAD NECKLACE Antique.1930s, Machine age, Deco necklace is made of an early plastic cubes, glass disks& bronze metal separators finished in scored barrel clasp. The material of the cubes looks like Bakelite but is most likely a Casein based plastic like Galalith or French Bakelite. The plastic smells a bit sweet when hot water is used. The necklace is strung on cotton with disk& cube shaped beads. There are red, black& bronze disks along with solid cubes. Each cube is layered with red& black plastic separated by gilt brass metal. ANTIQUE FRENCH ENAMELED GILT BRONZE BOX W/SIGNED DENIAU BUDDING LOVE PORTRAIT
Antique gilt bronze French dresser or jewelry box with an enameled top and a hand painted signed R.Deniau portrait of young lovers in a garden setting. The box measures 6" x 4 1/2" x 2 1/2" height. The interior is lined in an amber colored soft cotton fabric. The fabric is free of rips. Tears or odors but does show some modest wear in the bottom. The box is in nice condition with no dents and little or no gold loss to the finish. The enameled top and the portrait appear to also be free of any loss. The only damage appears to be a slightly bent lid hinge which does not allow the lid to close completely flush with the base although pretty close. Stamped on the base made in France. Nice item. Starts low with no reserve.

World War I French military petrol lighter sculpted+cast brass & bronze
worth at least a couple hundred. It is a very extremely rare version of a hexagonal petrol lighter, quite possibly the only one. Helpful advice: be knowledgable re: automatic bidding.
