We are pleased to offer this EXCEPTIONAL. 19th Century bronze wall sconce. This stunning 2 arm candle sconce features an extraordinary French influenced scene. The sconce, in very deep repousse, depicts a lovely sheathed maiden presenting flowers to Cupid. Cupid,with bow in hand, is standing on a large urn/pedestal. He is nude with a flowing cape or sheath behind him. The scene is set in a garden or outdoor courtyard. There is a large tree with wonderful detail that is behind and extends up and over the maiden. Her dog is witnessing her offering or gift to Cupid. The sconce has two ornate arms with vine pattern on the arms and acanthus pattern on the candle cups. The arms are separated by a goddess face/bust. She is nicely detailed as well and is in a beautiful headdress. This is a beautiful, very old wall sconce. It is in very good condition ... morewith an aged patina to the gilted bronze. It is thick and the reverse picture shows the depth of the repousse. STUNNING ANTIQUE FRENCH ITALIAN ORNATE BRASS BRONZE CRYSTAL WATERFALL CHANDELIER
We are pleased to offer this stunning. Antique crystal chandelier. This wonderful fixture is French styled and features 4 waterfall tiered sections, two on the top and two on the bottom. The center of the chandelier features an extremely ornate brass/bronze band with large crystals inside the band. The chandelier is 6 light; you will note a couple of the light sockets are missing bulbs, but they all function perfectly. The brass/bronze is absolutely beautiful throught this fixture. It is embossed with delicate and intricate patterns. The same pattern is also found on the original ceiling cover canopy which is also included with the fixture. The chandelier features 12 crystals on the 1st waterfall top section and 24 crystals on the second tier. There are 12 large crystal around the circumference of the chandelier's center band. The 3rd ... morewaterfall section on the lower part of the chandelier contains 12 crystals as does the 4th, bottom waterfall section. There are 72 crystals in total. The chandelier is in very good condition with little aging. There is residual paint on the interior of the ceiling canopy. The wiring is vintage but in very good condition and the chandelier is working. The chandelier measures 18" in height(excluding chain and wiring) It is 15" in diameter. 19th Century French Crystal & Bronze Pedestal Compote
Check out my! 0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false What a beautiful piece. The bowl of the compote is frosted crystal in a pleated glass. Trimmed on top in a gilt bronze. Attached at either end are rococo design handles. Edging the top of the bowl is a looped garland of gilded roses. The inside center of the bowl is painted in a 24k gold tulip design. The bowl sits on a ½ ring of rococo guilding. The base of the dish is painted in a 24k gold design. This compote is in very good condition. There is a tiny nick on the edge of the base. The compote measures 7in in diam. across the bowl x 7 1/2in tall x 4 1/2in in diam. across the base.

Featured in this auction is a set of TWO beautiful Sevres style cobalt blue urns. Both urns are richly decorated with high quality gold gilt bronze appliques with putti on each side. Antique Authentic French Repeater Carriage Brass Bronze Glass Clock 19th Cent
French 19th Century Carriage Clock with Repeater Function in Nice Fully Working Condition There are way too many fakes of the French carriage clocks out there- here is your chance to own a real one. This clock is fully functional- it runs and strikes properly. Also repeater works perfectly. The movement and case look great. Dial does have a tiny hairline crack in the utmost right upper corner- impossible to take a picture of and nearly impossible to see. Also, the handle has a very slight bend, I only noticed that when I took the pictures and realized that it is not completely parallel to the case when it is down(see pictures) This is, of course, easy enough to fix, but it is so slight that I am not sure the fix is needed. I have not timed the clock to see if it keeps the time accurately, but this is, of course, easily adjustable. Pictures ... morespeak for themselves, but do let me know if you have any additional questions. The clock measures 7.25" high(with handle extended up) 3.5" wide and 3.25" deep.
