Rare Gilt Bronze Art Nouveau Style Lamp Base Attributed To Edward Colonna
For sale is an outstanding gilt bronze Art Nouveau lamp base attributed to the renown designer Edward Collona. We do not see a mark on it but have not taken it apart from its marble base. This is certainly in the manner. Style, and period in which he designed. It is also very similar to many of his other Art Nouveau style lamp bases. This base is gilt bronze and in overall good condition. There is age appropriate gilt loss/ tarnish but it still shows beautifully. It is affixed to a marble base which looks to be made specifically for this lamp base. The lamp is in excellent working condition. It still lights just fine. Of course we suggest re-wiring this to modern electrical code requirements. We can't say enough about how beautiful this lamp is. It would look stunning in a Tiffany. Loetz, Quezal, etc lamp shade. It has gorgeous flowing ... morelines and the classic Art Nouveau look of the period. We are unsure if there is a finial screw that screws on to the threads. There are two screws. Iron Art Nouveau-Deco 4 Orange Slag Stained Art Glass Panels Swag Lamp vintage
I can find no markings on this 4 sided cast iron lamp that I assume meant to be a swag because of the chain through top of finial. It weights 10 pounds. It appears to be very old from the patina marks. It stands 15" high and as photos shows there are slots for 4 pieces of stained glass. Photo shows the 4 thick swirled stained glass in hues of swirled oranges like you'de picture hot lava. Also that one panel has had a skillful repair thats only noticeable if removed from lamp. And is not in a compromising condition because of mend. Each windowed frame measures 4-3/4" wide and 7" tall. All I see is 4 original flat head screws about halfway down on outer 3 sided corner moldings(photo 3 shows) Original light socket, no color variations throughout. I'm hardly an expert but the ornate craftsmanship and distinct patterns says ... morethis is a piece of the art nouveau-deco period. The electrical cord is not cloth but not much newer than that, and has no breaks or mends. Where the original iron chain ends a length of newer added, works fine. For many years it hung on a second story porch and the vivid orange colors radiated in the dark distance like a beacon.

ANTIQUE BRONZE SATIN GLASS GLOBE SPELTER ART NOUVEAU DECO TABLE LAMP LIGHT NICE Up for your consideration is this antique bronze and satin glass table lamp. It is made in a art nouveau/deco style(kind of) Please be sure to see the other antique items we have listed. FEATURES: This lamp is unlike anything that I have ever seen in the past. Or could find online, including eBay, Google images and a bunch of other sites. I believe the base is cast from solid bronze. It is made in a very ornate style with scrolling and leafing, and very fine details. The white satin glass globe is adorned with the most detailed hand formed( vines and leaves applied to it. They look like they have been extruded or maybe hand formed(possibly similar to how you would use a pastry gun) when the bronze was in a malleable state. I'm not sure of the actual process ... moreused to make this beautiful lamp because some of the vines feel like they are actually embedded right into the surface of the glass- and the final product is stunning. Each leaf has a very detailed design that includes a"ruffling" on each edge of the leaves. The vines and leaves have been attached to the globe by what I can only guess is a"melding" of the two materials while they were in a hot or workable stage. If anyone knows what this process is, or knows how it was made, an email would be greatly appreciated. The top section above the globe may have been cast from a different composition of materials than the base was. It is designed with a Roman or Greek style with a column look and leaves that fan out at the top. At the top of the four leaves there is a small hole where presumably a crystal hung down from there at one time. It comes with standard socket switch 2 clicks on and two clicks turns it off. I believe this lamp was re-wired with a new cord and socket sometime in the 1950's-60's. The length of the cord is a bit less than 6 feet. The underneath of the cast bronze base has developed a kind of rainbow-ish finish. I'm not sure if it'

Beautiful vintage lamp by L&L WMC. this is the Tiffa-Mini lamp. It is in the Art Nouveau style and is cast(Bronze? It features two adorable cherbus playing aorund the base of the lamp. The beautiful glass shade is fluted. It measures approx. 9.5" tall x 3" across. I have not plugged it in because the plug is old. I always recommend that plugs on these older lamps be replaced. Measuring approx. 6" tall is this early original Art Nouveau glass perfume lamp globe shade. Appears to be a white glass painted with a very art nouveau motif represented with a bird among foliage. Cylinderical lens is free of chips and cracks. Brass perfume cup intact to go along with the metal vent painted cap. Regretfully the base fixture itself is missing, which this lens would mount to a 2 3/16" fitter base light fixture. RARE UNUSUAL SIGNED BRADLEY& HUBBARD LAMP BASE. 4434, APPLIED FLOWER DESIGN, OCTAGONAL BASE, ART NOUVEAU, ARTS& CRAFTS, ART DECO ERA, WORKING-2 BULBS, BUY IT NOW, BEST OFFER This lamp base was found at a local estate sale. It is a very heavy 9-10 pound signed base. The base is 11 1/2" high and is stamped on the bottom B&H. 4434. The lamp has been rewired and is in working condition(see photo) The black base is an 8 sided octagonal shape with embossed and plain copper color panels. The center column is square and decorated with applied metal flowers that are a silvery/gold color with hints of green. The embossed panels in the base are also outlined in green. The lamp pulls are flower shaped. I thought the base could be from the Art Nouveau. Arts& Crafts or Art Deco era. Most of the B&H lamp bases I have seen are plain ... moreor embossed. I have not found any that look like this base. The base is 11 1/2" tall. 21 1/4" to the top of the harp, the spread between the arms is about 14" wide and the base fits into a 7 1/4" square. I believe it is made of cast iron. The underside of the base is a mottled green and has the B&H mark and number. It comes with 2 very solid arms to support a shade. The shade is missing and must have been very heavy based on the sturdiness of the support arms. There is a fitting for 2 bulbs. The base needs polishing and cleaning and has a mottled black surface. The stems of the flowers are pulling away slightly. They could be left as found or resoldered. There is no finial. I think a lamp restorer could bring this base back to life and pair it with a colorful flower shade. It would make a wonderful addition to a collection of B&H table lamps. A lovely vintage table or desk lamp. With a nice glass shade, as shown. the lamp, itself, measures 22" in total height, with the shade measuring 7" in height. The base measures 5& 1/2" in diameter. The lamp's fittings are made from solid brass, although the base, which has some nice age wear, looks to be plated. The shade is made of a nice pink swirled glass and is very attractive. The lamp's design is very unusual and I don't think you're likely to see another one like this. The lamp's base base one small dent and the shade has a few small edge chips but these can't be seen as they are obscured by the rim of it's mount. Up for auction is a Great Art Nouveau 2 Light Chandelier. Looks to have all it's pieces especially the ceiling mount. The wires are cloth covered and need to be replaced by the new owner. It has a embossed/relief style of flowers and leaves. The arms of this lamp look like brackets or Greek style vases with roses. The metal on the light sockets look like a reticulated design and you can see the original paint throughout the lamp. There is a great hanging final on the bottom of the lamp and it measures 17"Long x 7"Wide x 24"High. Just dug this beauty out of the garage and now that I look at it there is a resemblance to a metal shade that I just sold a few days ago. Have seen similar auctions refer to this chandelier as cast iron and from the 1920's but am not 100% sure. I also preformed the magnet test on it and it didn't ... morestick so it could also be brass. Not sure on that either because there's one or two places that are chippy and I can see silver colored metal underneath. They measure approximately 6 1/2" wide by 27 1/2" tall just the base without the shade harp and socket measures 15 3/4" tall- the two handled porcelain portion measures 13 1/4" tall- they are in very good condition with no chips. Cracks, or repairs other than they are missing there shades- they are unmarked other than being numbered on the underside of there porcelain bases- they were always lamps they aren't converted vases- the wiring is fully functional.

Although it is made in the style of the German Art Nouveau period, spot-welding wasn't done around 1910. Materials: The frame is made out of wrought iron elements. The entire wall lamp is made with a great love to the detail, especially the roses and leaves. The single wrought iron elements were also hand-painted. Great craftmanship! The half-round shade is made out of unusual thick-walled alabaster stone. Measurements: The entire wall light is very big. Art Deco, work from 1890 to 1932 Argentor Werke artists produced furniture. Sculpture, lamps, and metal work They seems to have fallen on hard times during the period to the post-WWI collapse of the Austrian economy and depression. ARGENTOR- is the trademark of ARGENTOR-WERKE RUST&HETZEL.WIEN The lamp is electric and have some stamps: ARGENTOR. FABULOUS ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU-VICTORIAN TABLE LAMP W/CRYSTAL LUSTRES, EARLY 1900s
Fabulous antique art nouveau-victorian era table lamp early 1900's* This exquisite antique table lamp stands 17 inches high and 7 inches wide at the base. The lamp has a fancy embossed brass metal shade with 27 strands of crystal lustres decorating it. The lamp has been rewired and has a brass pull chain socket with a fancy cut glass and glass bead pull. There are two holes on the top of the shade which are to release heat- not damage. I used a short round standard watt light bulb in this lamp which doesn't extend down beyond where the crystals end. These decorator bulbs can be found in any home center or home depot. C. 1910- 1920s. The lamp stands 17" tall, and retains all of its original parts, with the exception of the cord as the piece has recently been rewired. It features windmills and houses, with an interesting pink background. It is especially well painted, and in excellent condition. There is some general roughness to the upper and lower rims, but this is due to the method of cutting, and are not chips or flaws. The paint is in excellent condition, free of scratches, chipped paint, or heat scorching. The base appears to be made of brass, and there is some age-related uneveness to the patina, but nothing distracting. The shade measures 7.5" in diameter, and the lamp is ready for immediate use.
