I'm pleased to offer this old large"Economy" meat grinder or food chopper. Marked Size 30. Made of cast iron and dating to the early 1900s. It is about 10-1/2" long. Comes with 3 grinding plates: 1-1/2" slotted, 5/16" round, and 1/4" round No separate knife because it is integrated into the housing. The alignment pins are slotted. The grip is wood and unpainted. Antique Japanese Plates Hand Painted Semi-Transluscent Porcelain Scenic Set of 4
These four dessert size plates marked simply"Made in Japan" are exquisite. They are 7-1/2" in diameter with varying shades of green as the predominant color. The painting is applied over the glaze. The small pink bushes have white raised dots. I have spent a great deal of time studying the designs and have noticed a great many differences to the designs and paint application so each plate is a work of art in itself. The dark green bands around the outermost edges is unevenly applied and skips to the paint are not flaws but the way the painting was originally done. When held up to the light they are semi-translucent. There are no chips or cracks. They do need careful cleaning as there are smudges probably from handling. I have a pair of RARE antique Furnivals blue onion plates from England. They are in excellent shape. A beautiful rare pale blue color. They measure 8 1/4 inches. The rim of these lovely plates are RIDGED, Not scalloped. There are no cracks or chips whatsoever, perfect condition for collectors. One plate does have a pale yellow mark on it, it is very small. I have not tried to get it out, maybe a special cleaning concentrate will wipe right out. This rare find came from my grandmothers eclectic collections. Valentines cards and much more. I am listing some of these this week, and will work through the boxes, laundering, inspecting, photographing and listing! The detailed descriptions of the cut of the dresses, the fabrics and the instructions for lace and craft projects is extremely interesting. This book is in good condition, with some bumping to the edges of the boards and spine, and a small split to the inside paper where it is attached to the front board. The spine and corners are covered with tooled red leather, and the front and back are of marbled paper. The book measures 16cm x 23cm, and there are 664 pages in all. The hand coloured fashion prints sell for a huge amount of money, but I implore you not to remove them from this wonderful book! More photographs below. The book measures 16cm x 23cm, and there are 664 pages in all. The hand coloured fashion prints sell for a huge amount of money, but I implore you not to remove them from this wonderful book! They appear to be a set although not perfectly matched which gives me the sense perhaps they are handpainted and or molded? Either or they are both old and in wonderful condition and damage free. They have scalloped flowing edges and molding. Each have an incised underglaze number which I believe appears to be"166" and one plate has a blue"7" and the other a blue"5" or perhaps they are artist marks? Each plate or dish is scalloped or heart shaped and have an interior bottom/bowl not a flate inside bottom. They may have very. Very minor teeny makers inclusions during manufacturing. Two plates have a very large chip(photo 4) on the underside edges-one of them has a hairline starting from the chip. One plate has two spots on the underside rim where the glaze is missing or flaked off. All plates have crazing. Up for bid is a set of 8 antique flow blue Francis Morley& Co. Cashmere pattern dinner plates, measuring a little over 10.5" in diameter. Dating somewhere between 1845- 1858. All the plates appear to have been used to some degree and they vary in condition which I will do my best to describe each one bellow. A good portion of the gold trim paint has been worn and some vary in color. I think the pictures show how they look and the backs of them show the cracks well as will be described. Starting with the plate in the back left then working across to the right. Then back to the front left and across(eighth plate listed is on the front right) 1) No cracks or chips. Some gold trim wear. This one is in very nice condition. 2) One less than 1/2" chip on the back that you can not see from the front. Other than the one chip nice condition. ... more3) One crack from 9:00 edge to almost the center of the plate. No chips. 4) Two cracks. One from 8:00 edge to center and one 2" crack about 11:00. Tiny 1/4" chip on the back that you can't see from the front. 5) Two cracks. 3" long from 6:00 edge. 2nd from 12:00 to inner rim then t urns along the rim on both sides of the first one for about 5" No chips. 6) Two chips. One about 5:00 th at you can see from the front. Tiny chip about 2:30, three other nat bite chips on back outer rim. 7) 7" long crack from 6:00 rim to past center. There is a chip missing where that crack meets the rim. 8) Poor number eight has a 1-3/4" bite chip missing from it. I will ship them the next day after payment is received. This is a set of six beautiful matching 21cm antique salad plates. Which are in very good condition, with no damage at all to any, very little wear on the gilt embellishment, and very little utensil wear. There is only the very faintest of crazing. One plate does have a conspicuous manufacturing fault, which is a long splash of reddish brown paint. I have shown this in photo 5. There are 3 different aesthetic style designs, so two of each design. These show a spray of marguerites, one of chrysants& roses, and one of daisies& poppies etc. They are offset by backgrounds of green& pink blushes. The molded edges are finished with a very generous gilt spray. The plates are relatively thin with a beautiful matt glaze and look stunning. Here are four(4) very old antique Spode plates- each one measuring 8" in diameter. Wi th the pattern number of 2963. In ink o n the back of most of the plates. The mark on the back of the plates is an impressed SPODE mark. That's all, besides the 2963. The background is a crispy. Snowy white, and the floral decoration on the plates is in Imari colors- navy blue, rus ty red. And gold. All the res earch I have done on these plates online ha s led me to believe that they were made between 1815 and 1 833- before Copeland joined the Spode enterprise in Staffordshire- Stoke on Trent. Reluctant to sell but have been sitting in my dresser for over 10 years and never used. Includes differing sized plates. Serving dishes tureens etc. No damage to the porcelain. But some fade to the design on a couple of plates with use and age.

Here are 6 x Royal semi-porcelain tea plates from Ridgway. Design is Bowood. Makers mark to base(see picture below) Dates to c.1880. Size: 23cms. in diameter. This is a rare old piece with the design looking hand-painted. But I am no expert.
