This jewelry box is from the World Famous Fountain Blue Hotel in Paris. France It is a signed piece with the signature on the top and trademarks on bottom. It is my understanding that this is one of only 800 or so made.As you can see by the pictures it is still in quite lovely condition except for one small chip under the rim. I have tried to show as much as possible in the pictures. 06/14/2013 I was just informed that the top of the box is not attached to it. It has a gold tone rim that needs to be reattached to it.

Here is a incredible one of a kind heavy brass and enamel jewelry box. Interior is red velvet(some separation from rim) Box is made of solid brass- very heavy. Brass is etched with scrolls. Fleurs pillars, drapes- very ornate. 6 Inlaid disk on front. 4 on top. Inlaid enamel disks of Coast of Arms, Crusaders, Warriors and Royal men dressed in costumes/uniforms/ attire for that era. The top has two women angels laying down and leaning on a shield. It looks like there were at one time pins or locks that would go into the sides as the holes match up for that.
