Finish appears to be original and has a nice warm patina. The top is a little wobbly but can also be fixed easily with some glue or a few screws. One of the legs has a small chuck of wood broken off. It is a great table dating from the 1870s to 1880s. I am confident that it has had an overcoat applied at some point in its past, but it has a warm mellow touch to the medium walnut stain finish. The table consists of walnut and mahogany. It is all hand carved with the floral arrangements on the serpentine skirts and cabriole style legs. The four legs are joined together with cross stretchers in the center with a huge center finial that is an open cup. The overall size is 36 inches long, 26 inches deep and 30 inches high. The overall condition is good and tight. There are a couple of minute chips on the marble that we will detail out prior to shipping.

This is a great piece of vintage furniture. We’re uncertain what type of wood(possibly walnut? it is and we don’t think the handles. Although porcelain, are original to the piece. It measures about 37” tall(it’s on casters and therefore it moves easily) x 36” wide and 20” deep. The drawers are each 27” long x 15-1/2” wide. The top drawer is 5-3/4” deep. The middle is 6-3/4” deep, and the third is 7-3/4” deep. A piece of the scroll work is missing from the front. Furniture label underneath is from 1932, sold later than made, hence my listing it as 20th century antique, hard to tell for sure. Beautiful walnut veneer. Stunning colours. It is for the most part unrestored. There is gluing(not great) of the inner cover plate in the centre(see picture) The condition is generally lovely. The look is stunning, the lines beautiful and of course it has a function. Beautiful piece measuring at very roughly 30" tall, to is roughly 22/24" wide.
