Description: This is an early antique L&JG Stickley library table from the Onondaga Shops period in the early 1900s Mission and Arts& Crafts period in very good condition. The piece appears to be made of ash or chestnut and is extremely heavy and bulky. The top is 1.25" thick and the posts are 3.5" square. The table has unusual form with a lower shelf set high and two keyed through tenons on the sides. There are double pins at the top and bottom and the legs have a nice taper towards the bottom. The apron has a nice slight arch all around. The table is unsigned but is model#379 in the early catalogue. This is a very usable

The table expands and the tray ... morefits in the middle which is great for hosting large parties. Yet it can be closed up when not in use. Plus, it is on wheels and is easy to move around when serving a buffet style meal. The top closed measures 40" x 21" It is 28-1/4" tall. It is in very good condition, but there are some scratches on the top which I have add to the pictures. You can see in the one picture of the complete table top the scratches do not show, but the close up they do. I have not tried to cover them. I will let the lucky new owner of this table fix the marks. I will also be adding a table that folds down and a coffee table that has the serving tray and storage the same as this piece. This is an antique Stickley era Mission style Arts& Crafts quarter sawn solid oak coffee table dating to the early 1900's. It appears to have originally been a library table that was cut down to be a coffee table. It measures 42-3/4" wide. 25-1/2" deep and stands 18" tall. It has bronze pulls on the drawer and the drawer is dovetailed. There are scratches and wear consistent with age and gentle use, and some minor blemishes. There are oak buttons that cover connection points and 10 are missing. I have not had a chance to replace them, but do have a bag of new oak buttons that will be included with the table. Antique Primitive Mission Arts &Crafts Style Stickley(?) Plant Stand Small Table
Primitive Antique Mission Style wood plant stand/small table. Another genuine early furniture piece that belonged to my Grandfather. Possibly from the 1920's( Table stands 13-1/2" tall x 11-1/2" wide across the top. Made of dark stained. 3/4" thick wood, not sure what type. Maybe maple. F our supporting legs are nicely rounded and tapered at the top. Wonderful primitive and rustic look with wear to many of the edges and residual white paint along one leg with some small splatters elsewhere. Joints are nice and tight and table is still very solid and sturdy. A stylish addition to any Mission Style or Country Farmhouse Decor! Antique L&J.G. Stickley Arts and Crafts Table, No Reserve!!!!!
The table is 20 in. tall and is 18in. wide. The base/ legs is in excellent original condition. Great original patina. The top has a few issues. The top is made up of 3 boards and two glued up seems. One seem is original and untouched and just beginning to open up a bit. Structurally very sound. Its good. The other seem looks to have been worked on. Its tight and also very sound. The top also has 1in. area thats about 1/8in. deep that looks to me to have been sanded/ worked smooth. One or two screws missing and a few are new. This is a Stickley Bros dining table with two tops. The damaged top is the original and is needs expert restoration as the surface is damaged and needs TLC. The top on the table with dishes displayed on it is not the right'fit' but it is on display at Port City Antiques in Duluth and I'm including both tops in this auction. I also have 5 Stickley chairs that are available in a separate auction. Could combine if requested. The base has Stickley label on top of the trunk and under the table top. Very hard to find Stickley dining table. This also has two leaves and not certain they are original but they are old and work with one of these tops. Tobey Stickley Oak Arts and Crafts Library or Trestle Table
Here is a wonderful Arts and Crafts oak trestle or library table fresh from a Nebraska estate. I believe it was made by Tobey Furniture but it is not shown in the Tobey book. It has a similar cutout on the ends as some others in the Tobey book. The top is a full one inch thick and has clip corners. The table is 42 inches by 25 1/2 inches and is 29 1/4 inches tall. It has a bottom shelf with a cutout at each end. The splayed ends give this a wonderful look. The bottom shelf has through tenon with pegs. It is in excellent condition. No stains and just some minor scratches which I have tried to show in the photos. There are some touched up scratches on one side shown in photos 3 and 4. The bottom of the feet are slightly dry and could be touched up with finish but there is no rot or deterioration of the wood. Antique Arts and Crafts Tile Top Table or Bench Offered for sale is a RARE and Fabulous Antique Arts and Crafts Period Tile Top Table or Bench. This has all the attributes of a true hand made craftsman Arts and Crafts piece of furniture. There are no labels or marks that we could find on this table. Details: Use of quartersawn oak(see photos of table top) Keyed-through tenons on both sides of table and pegged joinery. The tiles on the top look very much like Rookwood- however. Stickley Pedestal End Table Cherry Valley Collection#5070 Search This pedestal end table was designed by Leopold and John George Stickley and is part of their Cherry Valley Collection. The collection was made in Fayetteville New York between 1928 and 1950. Cherry is the primary wood with maple being the secondary. Table is 28" high. 20" wide and 16" deep. It is in excellent condition with a beautiful patina. Shipping would depend upon destination but would range from about $100 to the far west and $75 to the midwest. The piece is made of solid oak with a good old finish but we do not believe it is the original finish. The table is made of very thick and solid wood. The piece has great appeal and could be used in many different rooms and for many different purposes. the party we acquired it from were using the shelf in a different room. there is an old repair to one leg being pointed out in the last photos as is a separation in the top also. this table measures 42" long x 28 1/2" inches deep and 30 1/4" inches tall and with the top on it. Features original finish with some blemishes. There are some scratches. One burn mark and two faint red stains on the middle section of the table. CRAFTSMAN/Stickley Style TABLE/STOOL-Unusual VICTORIAN 1890-Oak Top NATURAL TREE WOOD BASE/Original BARK HISTORY: ~Was used either as a table or a stool. It is uniquely Victorian. Quite uncommon and unusual. Most likely dates to around 1880 to 1890. ~Entirely traditionally hand-made by a professional furniture-making craftsperson long ago. ~Also quite reminiscent of Stickley or Craftsman furniture. Especially on top. Hard to find and not commonly seen. It was almost surely hand made by a trained artisan. PROVENANCE: ~Came out to Washington State from Pennsylvania 30 years ago. ~Was from a family estate in a large family home in rural Pennsylvania. The home was located outside of the really teeny town of Arch Rock. Pa. which is outside of Mifflintown, PA. also a small town, located between State College and Harrisburg. There it had been long ... moreago lovingly packed and stored up in the large attic, and ramained there for several decades previous to its trip to Washington State. MATERIALS/MEASUREMENTS/DESIGN: ~Table/stool top is made of antique ancient-growth solid oak. It measures 12x12 inches on top. ~Handsome chamfered edges were added for refinement of the design. They make the unit look lighter and add beauty. Nicely cut corners provide the same function. ~Entire piece measures a total of 16-1/2 inches high. ~Base under top is made of natural tree branch wood of various widths. The wood is unique because it has been kept preserved in its original natural state. It was lovingly used as found on the original tree. Complete with original bark coating still firmly attached. Smaller twig branches were removed and smoothed over. ~Natural legs of the base make a handsome and remarkably interesting contrast with the refinement of the hand worked oak: in texture. Stickley Era Antique Mission Oak Arts& Crafts Tabouret Table Stand Cut Outs Description. For your consideration is a: Stickley Era Antique Mission Oak Arts& Crafts Tabouret Table Stand Cut Outs. This Period Arts& Crafts Stand Has its original Finish and a very unusual cut out design on all 4 of its canted sides. The construction is solid and is very unusual with dado joints on two of the sides of the base for the other sides of the base to fit into. The top also is attached in an unusual fashion in order to prevent cracking as the wood shrinks across the grain over time. There is a piece of wood on the inside of the base which is larger than the opening at the top and has sides angled to match the canted sides of the base. This wood piece is attached to the underside of the top with screws which pulls the top of the stand to the ... morebase(just a note to lift the stand by the base and not the top so you don't put undo stress on the top. I have added rubber washers to the screws th at attach the wood block in the base to the underside of the top in order to take up some space from wood shrinkage since I did not want to over tighten the screws and crack the top or worse screw through the top. And the fix works well. There is a label under the t op with the number 52 and also also also some letters marked underneath the top which I wasn't able to make out. This stand is unlike any other that I have encountered and I am sure it will make a great addition to your Stickley. This is a Stickley Era Limbert style early 1900's finely crafted tabouret table. Because of the style of the cutouts. It possibly was made for a church. The table is 17 inches high and 11 inches wide at the octagonal top. The perfectly put together legs seem to splay slightly. There are a couple of separations in the wood on top. And some minor knicks. At some time, the table was painted brown. I have left it alone as I found it. Beautiful Quartersawn Mission A/C Quaint Stickley Brothers Lamp Table
This is an amazing Quaint Stickley Brothers lamp table. It has been refinished at some point with a light satin poly overcoat applied. There are a few very minor dings and scratches that are only overcoat deep and can be removed by a light sanding. That is what we had planned on doing to get back down to the stain so we could apply a hand rubbed wax but we never got around to it. We moved to a home built in 1859 and our A/C pieces aren't really fitting in like they did in our other home so we have posted a few for sale with more to come over the next few months. The dimensions of this table are 28" in diameter x 26" tall and the lower shelf is 19" in diameter. Stickley Brothers Quaint(I think) Arts& Craft Mission Style Table This round expandable table measures aprox. 53" in diameter round without the leaves. It has 4 leaves that each measure 10 1/2" The leaves are significantly darker than the table. They have been stored in a closet for many years. I'm not sure if the table has been refinished at some point. This table does not have the Quaint Stickley brothers label. But I'm told it is Quaint Stickley Bros. The chairs(that do have the Quaint Stickley label) are being listed separately. I would be happy to send additional photos upon request. I will have 3 or 4 listings over the next week for nice early Stickley Brothers Quaint Arts& Crafts dining room pieces. These pieces are believed to be very early 1900's. They were purchased by the consignor's grandmother ... morein the Midwest and have been in the family ever since. This charming table is an original Stickley Bros table in its original finish. It features a front drawer. Two very nice side leaves and a short back splash. It's 26.25" long with the leaves down and 40.5" long with them up, 18" deep and 29.25" tall(add another half inch for the back splash. This table has been in my family since the 1950s.
