The top measures 48" x 38" Center point of table when adjusted flat can be set up in height anywhere from 32-1/2" to 41" The table/desk top is plywood with what appears to be a maple veneer. It appears to have had a border around the edges at some point, missing now, leaving the edges discolored. Could use some restoration or could be replaced easy enough. Wood parts have some character from age and use but still looks great overall. Structurally sound. No cracks or repairs. They just don't make them like this anymore! Antique Dietzgen Drafting Table University of Illinois Cast Iron Oak Original
Very Large and all original antique Dietzen(king of drafting tables) drafting or architect table- cast iron still has original paint from the early 1900's. this has a very old university of illinois inventory stencil on it with a 4 digit serial number. the solid oak wood on the base is in amazing shape with no cracks or bad spots. the original top with all original hardware is birds eye maple with a few ink spots but no bad spots that need refinishing. I have not tried to clean this at all. a refinisher told me simple rubbing alcohol will take the ink off, i got this for my kid but it is way to large for his room with the top measuring 3 by 5 foot. it stands 42 inches tall and can be adjusted down with the turn of a wheel to 33 inches. it can also swivel to an almost vertical position for painting or art projects or storing somewhere ... morewhen not in use. i will definitely allow local pick up but i will ship, it will be the buyers responsibility to set up shipping. it is quite large and im sure usps or ups will not take it-i saw where greyhound bus lines does shipping but you have to pick it up at one of their terminals for a couple hundred bucks or uship is a great service and could probably be arranged for a couple hundred dollars. im very easy to work with and will make this as effortless as possible for the buyer. if shipped i will wrap with bubble wrap and blankets for the shipment. i can also deliver within a reasonable distance for a fee of dollar a mile. very cool steampunk antique item that will hold its value and most likely increase over time. you will likely not find one of these especially in this great shape that has not been refinished. being all original and this great i think the value of this with being from the university of illinois and from the early 1900's i think the value of this is triple the starting amount.good luck bidding and ask any questions. thank you.

Antique / Vintage Drafting Table Cast Iron Oak 37" high
Drafting Table- Vintage/ Antque 34.5" high. Adjustable to about 37" high- 24.5" wide Cast iron base is 18.75" wide and 11.5" high. I've had it since 1975, and I have no idea how old it is. It had no top when I got it. The wood is oak and the base and hardware is cast iron. I have the steel clips to attach the top. At some point there was another circular support bar, on the far side. This solid oak& cast iron Vintage Drafting/ Light table from I believe from the late 1800s original antique glass in this.Some wear due to age- see photos.Selling AS IS This was used by a local businessman Earl Schaffer from State College PA he did glass and stained glass work on and off campus at Penn State University/State College area and worked with Bryce Jordan himself. Table measures 4' feet high at its lowest setting about 3' across.Plug is intact,but has wear bulbs will need to be replaced this would be perfect tracing, opaquing, stripping, transparency, and slide viewing. The angle of the tabletop and the height of the desk are easily adjustable. The frame is constructed out of solid oak. Chipped a little in the corners from age. ANTIQUE OAK DRAFTING TABLE BASE STEAMPUNK GREAT FOR DESK BAR TABLE
This is a nice drafting table base. The height is adjustable. It extends from 31" tall to 41" tall. The base is 30" wide and 25 1/2" deep. There is one screw missing. It is on the side and the table is functional without it. Also. There is a chip on the underside of one of the wood pieces, see the last picture, it isn't visible from the top, you have to turn the base over to see it. There are normal scratches and scuffs. We didn't polish it but I think it would really come alive with some Liquid Gold. Overall it is still an attractive and very useable table base. We will disassemble it for shipping. Otherwise we wouldn't be able to ship it.

Vintage 1920-40 Keuffel Esser Drafting Architect Table Solid Oak With Birch? Top Here we have a very nice vintage 1920-40's era Keuffel Esser drafting architects table in solid oak with I presume a birch top board. The table measures 70.5" wide. By 36.5" deep, and stands 38" tall, though it can be lowered about 3" by removing the original oak blocks that fit into the bottom of each leg if desired. The table was made by Keuffel& Esser and is so labeled with their brass tag. There are also a number of other tags and decals applied, as this was used at Wright Patterson Air Force Base during or just prior to WWII. There are two drawers at top one wide and one smaller, as well as an oak Keuffel Esser four drawer file to the right side that is just mounted with a few screws. The table breaks down easily, and the parts ... moreare assembled with large nuts and bolts. The condition is excellent considering it's age and use, and save for minor blemishes to top and some ink stains, etc. to drawer it's ready to use. Of course if you want a perfect finish that would be up to you to do. I like things with some honest age and patina. Plenty of pictures to show pretty much all I could think of to aid in your assessment. This will not be shipped so local pickup and payment at that time. ANTIQUE PEDESTAL DRAFTING TABLE. OAK AND IRON, ADJUSTABLE Nice example of this pedestal drafting table. We think it's by Dietzgen. But don't yet find a maker's mark. The original oak top remains. Which is itself hard to find these days. Looks like it was given a black limed-oak finish, which together with the black Japanned cast iron looks pretty sharp. Looks like an artist worked at this table once, there's a bit of dusky blue along the bottom edge. All together, I thought this was a nice'lived in' look for this piece while staying clean& subdued and dark, so I've left it as is, just gave it a good cleaning and waxing. These pedestal drawing tables are absolutely fab. And getting very rare and pricey it seems. They are everything this great era sought to convey; classical solidity, extremely well-crafted classic ... moreforms but with all the ingenuity combined with the cast-iron glory that characterized the Victorian Industrial furnishings. The knobs are awesome, tightens in a bunch of different ways; height up& down, with or without swiveling, tilting, flat, etc. This table is eminently flexible for all kinds of different uses. And looks great in whatever position you choose. It can be lowered and leveled to be a great end table, or raised to be a stand, or tilted to be a great display for art books, prints, or your antique plate volume of Diderot's Encyclopedia. Or maybe a copy of the Restoration Hardware Sourcebook, just to show everyone you actually have the real thing, not a re-creation! Antique Vintage Industrial solid wood oak Cast Iron Drafting Table art drawing
The top of the work table has shallow scratches. Other than that, this piece is in good condition and moves freely to tilt. There are two spots on the base that seem to be where a plate or tag of some sort was attached by the manufacturer. One is circular like that used by Frederick Post company, the other is rectangular(please see photos) however I cannot find anywhere indicating the manufacturer, although the style is similar to Post tables. Please email me if you need other photos or have questions. This piece is located in Findlay OH for pick up OR delivery if arranged and paid by the buyer. I am unsure of the type of wood, it looks like oak, but the base is a bit darker than the top, unless the top has been refinished at some point. I believe it was manufactured by Mayline. There is also a rolling 48” straight that is stamped Mayline. I will include that along with the wire that it came with. The table measures 5’w x 37 1/2”d and is 31 1/4”h when the top is flat. It features a drawer which has the original cup pull and lock and key that works. It does show some signs of wear which is consistent with age and use and there are a few nicks and one deep stain in the top which I look at as a character adding bonus. It completely disassembles for easy transport. This would be a great piece to use as a dining table or kitchen work area and would be a perfect addition to your industrial ... moredécor. This is a great Hamilton oak drafting table. It is in great condition. The top raises and lowers perfectly. It has one long drawer and one small drawer with a sliding wood box in it. There are no breaks or loose parts. It has some wear and some small areas of paint residue. It has a board in the front to keep pencils from rolling off. It has a rubbery cover on it that is in good condition. The table measures: 60" long. 38 1/2" wide and 38" high.

Antique Oak Slant Top Desk Drafting Railroad Student Work Industrial Table
For sale is a very nice oak desk with slant top and two drawers. It is 5 feet long and is probably early 1900s. These desks are hard to come by. About 2 feet deep. 3 feet 5 inches at the highest point. The legs are bolted on and so can be removed relatively easily. There are a couple of cracks in the legs- one repaired and the other does not need repair. I am not sure of the original intended purpose of this desk. Some describe it as a railroad desk. Also school or teachers desk. Drafting desk. It is great looking. Though. There are two holes in the top for some sort of cylinders, maybe pens or drafting tools. Raises and lowers by loosening the handles, 180 degree pivot-able, secure, well built, the top itself appears to be birdseye(pls see pic of the wood) but not really sure. diameter of top is 1" it is 40x31" in size; table height goes from 31" to approx. 41" when fully raised; the American Drafting Furniture medallion is secured and in great condition; I base the age on an ad I found online that looks to have this in their 1916 catalog. The wood is in great shape, I do not know if this was refinished, it may be original, I honestly do not know. There is one end where there is some white residue, this may have been some glue used to assist in securing, it is possibly removable- I just left ... moreit alone. Wood Oak Industrial Folding Table Desk Workbench Bar Stand Altar Drafting Podium
This table is a modern table- post 1950. This is the wrong category and that will be changed shortly. Thank you. Folded. This solid oak folding table is only 5 inches deep. It was custom made by a local craftsman. It stands 34" tall; it measures 30" x 35" Plus the handle. It weighs approximately 100 lbs! It uses four piano hinges and solid oak sides. It's all oak, and it looks like stainless steel on some of the hardware. The long bolts that hold the braces in place, however, are starting to rust. They are not stainless steel. If you want to pick it up, I will refund the full shipping/ handling charge. Believe me, I really don't want to ship this. It will be no fun to wrap. And I will have to drive it approximately 50 miles each way to the UPS center! The wood has scratches; the wood has little dings and chips; it's ... moreused, but it's so strong that it's good for practically anything. It also has some markings on it, and some paint. I'm sure you could sand the whole top down and refinish it very easily. I may end up keeping this one it's so nice. Yeah. Maybe that's what I'll do.buy it now before I change my mind. Antique Oak Edwardian Drawing Drafting Table Solid Oak Adjustable Steam Punk
Antique very early 1900's Edwardian period drawing or drafting board. Solid Oak and fully adjustable as well as fully collapsible which can be disassembled and packaged to save on shipping costs. It is the original oak finish and patina. It adjusts up and down by turning the 5 point star handle and sliding the side up. The drawing surface has a pencil ledge and the hardware at the bases are very large brass screws. This is a very sturdy and very unique piece. One such as I have never seen before. I truly believe it is Edwardian in circa and period. Approximately 48" tall fully extended with board in drawing position and approximately 36" across.

But would also make a great decorator piece! The top is two articulated oak pieces measuring about 26-1/4" wide x 29" overall The drafting/drawing surface measures approximately 26-1/4" wide x 22" The storage surface measures approximately 26-1/4" wide x 7" The drafting/drawing surface tilts from horizontal(level) to almost fully vertical. The storage surface is designed to always remains horizontal so supplies don't roll off. Table adjusts vertically from 31" to 44" measured with the table completely horizontal) DESCRIPTION: Oak articulated top in two pieces: Larger working surface inclines and can be lowered and raised Narrower upper ... moresurface stays level for pens. Drafting supplies, etc. while the working surface tilts. Although none seriously affect the utility or appearance of the piece: A couple of the screws attaching the hinges to the two working surfaces(the underside) are not original and have been replaced. The base may have originally had wheels as there are holes for them in the feet. Paint on base is crazed(see pictures) and there is some chipping consistent with its age.
