A very unique steel adjustable pedestal base. The adjustment works nicely. This has a cool industrial/mechanical look. The base and top of the pedestal are an oval shape that measures 9" at the widest and 7 and 1/2" at the narrowest on the top and bottom. This is a beautiful example of the industrial carts made in the first decade or two of the twentieth century. I have added a salvaged wood top in my professional woodworking shop. For sale is an awesome adjustable table most likely from the 30's or 40's. A very nice patinated former hospital bedside table that raises up and down from 31" to 48" It measures 16" deep x 52' wide. It has a vanity mirror that flips up with a storage tray and a bookstand that can be positioned at an angle. There is normal wear to a piece of this age. Vintage 1920s Industrial German ISIS Drafting Table
This 1920s ISIS German industrial cast iron drafting table is all complete and in great condition. It features the original pencil tray. Drafting arm, 5” locking casers, C clamps for holding down an art board with a smooth surface. The counter weights are perfectly balanced for ease of motion when raising, lowering, or tilting the top. The top can be angled horizontally flat, vertically straight, and everything in between. It also features a foot peddle for locking-in the correct height of the table and a hand knob for locking-in the correct angle. Although these tables are typically heavy and difficult to move, the wheels make ease of movement simple and quick. The locking feature on the wheels keeps the table in place for steady drafting, painting or drawing. Antique Machine Age Industrial Cast Iron Drafting Coffee Table Base Steampunk
Here we have a great antique cast iron base with hand cranks on each side that turn a gear. The gear comes out a little bit above to top of the table base I imagine it would make for a cool adjustable drafting style coffee table. As you can see from the photos these legs are a bit top heavy. I put a small piece of cardboard to hold the two legs together and they stood up fine no problem so I don't think there would be any issue once a top is crafted for them. The bottom of the legs can also be mounted so this could either be mounted to the floor or even on top of a taller table to craft or even the wall. These legs stand about 18 inches tall not counting the gears and cranks.

French Industrial Hure Dining / Restaurant Pub Table Vintage
I have a love for the old cast iron bases made from the late 1800s to the 1940s. A French machinist named P. Hure built many different lathes and milling machines that stood on them. They are rare and very hard to find. Especially in America, so I built this base as a tribute to him. It’s built with 1/4″ thick steel which is the heaviest gauge we’ve used to date. And the large connecting screw has a 2″ diameter with a 3″ nut that holds the two bases together. It’s massive and curvy lines blend well to support the 2 3/4″ thick worn oak top which is adorned with metal trim and bolted corner protectors. Made by Service Caster and Truck Co. in Albion, MI, was recently removed from Messing Planing Mill in St. Louis. MO. It is fully functional. In original condition and can be used as a cart or small table. This is a smaller but taller style cart and measures 36"L) x 24"W) x 26"H) and weighs a measly 270 lbs. It is in the exact condition that it was when it was removed from the building. Anything that looks white is gypsum that fell from the leaky roof and stuck to the wheels. It will clean up great. The only missing part is one screw for the metal retention piece on the top(and I may have a replacement for it) All castings look to be solid with no repairs. The original layers of paint are still there with a different shade showing thru in various spot from many years of use. The cast iron has been cleaned and lightly waxed to bring out its full character. The top is from a retired Patternmakers shop and was turned on a large wood lathe many years ago. It was a blank intended to be shaped into a pattern to make a mold to be poured in metal but was never used. Also please note that I have the board on wrong for the pictures. It needs spun 180 degrees. It is heavy. The board alone weighs 53 lbs and the base is at least another 200 lbs-feels more like 250 lbs to me. It has some light rust and needs cleaned up. Most of the board is in good shape but there are 2 gouges in it that are 1" to 1 1/4" down from what should be the top edge. There is an electrical outlet on the one side that accepts 3 plugs. This needs new wiring run to it as the old wiring looks rough. When set with the wood table horizontal the height adjusts from 36 1/2" fully down to 45 1/2" fully up. It also may be tilted 90 degrees. ... moreTilt and height are controlled by the 2 step pedals on the bottom and both the tilt and height stay in place once you set them. The board itself is 1" thick by 60 1/4" long by 38" deep. Counting the metal strips on the bottom it is 40 1/2" deep. The metal table top underneath is 32 1/4" tall by 18 1/4" deep by 48 1/4" long. You'll probably want to hit the top with a sander and recoat it before use. There are a few tack holes but not many. Also you'll want to replace some of the wood screws that hold the top fast to the frame with the next size bigger screw as a couple of the holes are worn some. Antique Uhl Toledo Industrial Rolling Table/Stand w Mechanism Base Matches Stool
Unsigned but an early Uhl Toledo piece. The last one of these to sell-different top but same frame brought $1500 as you just don't see them. Table top has some problems with some chipping.Delamination and extra holes. Frame is still pretty nice and in the original paint. You move the lever one way so it sets on the legs, move it the other and it lowers the rollers to roll around. Needs some old white paint droppings carefully scraped off it. Sound and solid. Table top is 27" by 20" Height about 26 1/2" Rollers roll and swivel ok. Tough to find late 1930's Howell table/ desk designed by Wolfgang Hoffmann. Top measures 36" x 24" and the height is 29" Original metal plating. Screws, end caps and pained wood top. Could be easily modified into a console table with a different longer and more narrow top. Very similar to streamline modern steel furniture designed by Gilbert Rohde for Troy Sunshade, KEM Weber for Lloyd and the furniture sold by Royalchrome and Mckay. Cool. Old store display table. This is a tri-legged rolling and height adjustable table appears to date from the early 1900's. Adjusts from 2 feet 3 inches at its lowest to 3 feet 5 1/4 inches at its highest. The table top(19 3/4" long x 12 5/8" wide) is all wood with the frame in a black crackled enamel and a bare pine inset that has been sealed in wax. Metal casters and bearings with smooth operation. Nightstand, or end table. It is labeled Hi-Lo typewriter stand by Metal stand, Phila PA. A simple beveled edge drop leaf typing surface sits on an industrial metal base with sturdy stretchers. Use this table as a side table. Lamp table, accent table, maybe even for your printer or laptop. Use your imagination and you wont be disappointed. The style and simplistic lines of this table allows it to mix and blend with your decor to perfection. It is sturdy and in good condition. It shows minor wear.
