It has two curved drawers on each side of the table. The drawers are 22.5 inches wide, 20 inches deep and approximately 3inches high. We took the top into the restoration shop to scuff it down and re-spray it to bring out the gorgeous grains used. There are still some minor nicks and dings that can barely be seen through the finish. The table has five pyramid shape pillars with a large shoe foot platform base that gives a lot of style and stability. It has a molded edge on the oval shape skirt.

PAIR ANTIQUE FRENCH COUNTRY CARVED SHELL MOTIF RUSH BOTTOM ARM CHAIRS
Here is a fabulous pair of early to mid-twentieth century French country arm chairs with rush bottom seats. Cabriole legs, carved feet and beautifully carved across the front of the seat as well as the backrest with a shell and flower motif as shown. These two chairs are in very nice condition for their age as represented with multiple pictures. The chairs are both tight and sturdy with strong, tight rush bottom seats that were probably replaced in the latter 20th century. The chairs each stand 38 inches tall to the top of the back and measure 21 1/2 inches wide by 22 inches front to back. The seats are 15 inches in height and are 20 1/2 inches wide by 18 1/2 inches, front to back. The back rest and across front of the seats on the chairs are beautifully carved and appear to have hand turned stretchers. These chairs appear to be made of walnut, ... morewith rush bottom seats. Chairs have palmette and cyma curve elements along with inlaid marquetry, gold gilding, and black lacquering or possibly ebony inlay.Gilding on all 4 chairs is intact and eye catching. All four chairs are raised on hairy paw feet with brass castors. Chairs have horizontal front leg supports again with drop palmette elements and palmettes elsewhere on the chairs consistent with NeoGrec Victorian substyle design. 2 chairs have large, elaborate crests with marquetry and carving. These oak chairs, 5 side chairs and 1 arm chair, have brown pleather seat covers which are usable in"as is" condition, and they are in very nice condition for their age, with no major scratches or staining to the finish, only the character marks one would expect with loving use over time. This set came out of a courthouse in the New Hampshire mountains, and they were refinished five or six years back. The courthouse sold them because a couple of them have split seats, and they were afraid the courthouse would get sued if someone ended up with a splinter in the wrong place, if you know what I mean. Their loss is our gain: Can you imagine putting these around a conference table? How about inside a home theater or a large dining room table? The chairs are finished in a medium oak stain, and have seven slats in the back that curve like a popsicle stick. The arms are all steamed ash bent oak, as shown in the pictures, with multi-turned spindles supporting them and the original iron rod that keeps the arm tight at all times. The base has multiple turned legs, multiple turned spindles across the front as cross stretchers, and the original metal cross bracing, which we used to take out before selling the item in the old days, but which people now seem to like. Elaborately Carved Crest Item# 120011OPP10B This is a wonderful pair of antique french fauteuil arm chairs of noteworthy proportions. They are both truly statement pieces. The crests a complex and precise work of art of floral influence, flowing into a plain molded frame around a raised upholstered backing. The two outward scrolling arms have thick stuffed upholstery along the top, these flanking a very deeply sprung upholstered seat. The springs and webbing are firm, the upholstery in overall very good shape(chair two with two areas of note worthy wear, the loose threads showing through in those two areas- no stains) these are incredibly comfortable chairs. They rest over two cabriole front legs ... moreof acanthus carved form. The underside of the seat is unfinished, revealing the pegged tenon-mortise construction and an illegible label beneath the midmost point of the apron. This is an outstanding pair of chairs for any decorator looking to bring life to a formal sitting room- they should be part of a home where care will be shown. As the arms are weak where they join the back. These are fully functional and visually wonderful pair of substance, a pair that will certainly be enjoyed for a lifetime. They are a cream color now, but I'm not sure this is the original paint, as scratches reveal orange color beneath the cream. Victorian Dining Room Chairs - 6 Side and 2 Arm Chairs - c. 1885
This is set of heavily hand-carved 19th Century Renaissance Revival dinning room chairs- consists of 6 side chairs and 2 arm chairs. They are heavy and solid oak is the wood is my guess- The side chairs are 42" high to the crest rail and the seat is 18" high- the seat is16" across the back and flairs out 18 1/2" to the front which is 20" across. The arm chairs are 43" to the top of the crest rail and also are 18" high- they are 20" across the back and flair to the from which is 21" across- the arms are 27" from the floor. The chairs are in great condition for being about 120+ years old with the usual abrasions and warm patina that good furniture acquires after years of use- there are some issues with the"satin" fabric that is on them. This is a pair of french style arm chairs made by the Mazor Masterpiece Store. Which was located at 911 7th st. Washington, D.C. from 1937-1980. The arm chairs have a country french straight leg design covered in gold fabric. Unfortunatley the fabric is damaged on one chair and stained on both. The chairs are very sturdy structually. They are a good size. The measurements are 34" high and 22" wide at the back, 28" wide and 21" deep on the seat, 17 1/2" high to the top of theremovable cusion and 10 1/2" high from the floor to the top of the frame.
