It has scalloped edges and barley twist legs. It is a nice solid sturdy table that is in good condition with no breaks or repairs and only minor finish loss. It stands 29 inches tall and the top is 20 inches wide by 16 inches deep. This piece came from England with a load of antiques I purchased. It is really a very nice piece that decorators can use in many ways. I've tried to take a number of pictures so that you can judge for yourself it's quality and value. Up for auction is a STUNNINGLY Gorgeous Antique English Oak Drawleaf Pub/Dining Table& Chairs SET from the early 1900's. It is EXTREMELY difficult to find an ORIGINAL and COMPLETE set of this style. Age, and quality. I purchased this set at an antique store in NC some years ago. And paid much more than this. We are reconfiguring our rarely-used dining room into a playroom. So. With a heavy heart, I've decided it's time for someone else to enjoy this charming antique set. This is a 5-piece antique English solid oak drawleaf dining/pub table. In very good shape for its age. It features gorgeous carved details and signature barley twist legs on the table AND chairs(which is unusual) This piece can integrate well with a variety of décor styles. It measures 42” square(with leaves stowed) and expands to a full 6 ft(42x72) with ... moreleaves pulled out. The finish on the wood is in nice shape. And the wood grain quality and patina shows through beautifully. Also. T he chairs have their ORIGINAL leather. Which also shows a remarkable patina-no tears or rips. Table top shows minor wear. But overall super cosmetic and structural condition! These pieces have such amazing character and detail. They definitely don't make furniture like this anymore. A truly outstanding set!
