Here is a vintage/antique early Art Deco era Howe of New York folding checkers/chess board folding game table. I think this piece dates from the late 1920's or 1930's. It is wood and painted black with gold offset color. It has original" If It Folds- Ask Howe 1 Park Ave New York Patented" The table top surface measures about 27 3/8" long x 15 3/4" wide and 26 1/2" tall. It folds up to less than 4" wide and about 35 1/2" tall. There is some paint missing from the bottom of legs. ANTIQUE ORNATE HAND-WROUGHT 15" ROUND TABLE With Black Marble Top This is a one-of-a-kind classic round table from the Art Nouveau period. It was most likely used in a theatre lobby. It measures 15" in diameter. There is accent painting on the stand. Much of which has faded over the years. But this doesn't diminish it's beauty. The marble top is in excellent condition. In that it's not cracked or chipped. However. There is a circular fading, along with superficial scratches in the center due to having been used as a plant stand by me since I purchased it in 2006. This is a listing for an antique art deco era 1930s black and white enamel to kitchen table! This table is GORGEOUS! It has a real farmhouse feel to it. The table is 2ft 5in by 3ft 5in. The table has a black wooden look to it with a drawer and a glass knob. The top is white porcelain enamel and in very nice shape! The table has a few nicks on the wood from use and the white enamel top has some wear but NO cracks or black spots! The underside of the table shows some rust on the enamel but it is secure. The wooden legs have a very nice design to them and the underside is wood as well! The drawer of the table does not come out easily but with some work it will be as good as new. The table's frameThe marble is inset into the table's carved egg-n-dart frame. The marble is a deep rich black color with very ni The marble has wonderful whitc veining throughout. The legs have carvings at their tops and the table's legs end in carved paw feet. I believe the table is done in an antique Chipendale style table. I purchased this beautiful table in 1988 from a local antique shop. It was sold and advertised as a 1920s coffee/center table. And its finish and construction appears to be from that time period to the early 1940s. I commissioned an antiques refinisher to do a French polish on the wood ... moreand to do a high polish on the marble. I believe the table has a lacquer finish, however, I am not absolutely sure because I am not an expert in furniture finishes. The furniture restoration turned out what I hoped for, and I've enjoyed having the piece in my home ever since. Beneath the marble top is a shelf which is perfect for books and magazines. This table is perfect for a family room, office, den or library. It measures approximately 42" in diameter. We are pleased to offer this beautiful pair of elegant. Antique to older vintage(1940s) side tables or nightstands. The pair are Mahogany wood and feature Chippendale and Campaign details. The tables are 2 tiered with open fretwork supports between the tiers. A gold, metal medallion accents the fretwork. The upper tier has a raised, scalloped ledge on 3 sides of the perimeter. The tables have incised, fluted, squared legs which taper toward the bottom. The tables are quite gorgeous. They are in very good structural condition. They are sturdy with no wobbling. Cosmetically, the tables have aged and do have an aged appearance. The original finish has crazed so the tables have a crackled appearance. The tops of both tiers, as well as the aprons, have been painted(at some point) in black. I removed the Persian carpet for cleaning For your consideration is an original 1930s-1940s walnut/ burl walnut& marble top coffee table or center table. The marble is inset into the table's carved egg-n-dart frame. The marble is a deep rich black color with wonderful white veining throughout. The legs have carvings at their tops and the table's legs end in carved paw feet. Beneath the table's marble top is a shelf which is perfect for books and magazines. This table is perfect for a library. Office, den, or family room. It measures approximately 42" in diameter. I believe the table's style is called Chippendale. But I am not an expert in furniture styles so cannot say for certain. I purchased this beautiful table in 1988 ... morefrom a local antique shop. It was sold and advertised as a 1920s coffee/center table, and its finish and construction appears to be from that time period to the early 1940s. I commissioned an antiques refinisher to do a French polish on the wood and to do a high poli sh on the marble. Antique Black Lacquered Tea Cart With Asian Motif Circa 1910-20's This great antique black lacquered tea cart with wonderful painted Asian motifs has a wooden framed glass removable tray top. Drop leaves, a handle that drops down if wanted and one small drawer. The brass furniture seal inside the drawer reads, Paalman Furniture Co. Members of the"Drop Handle" Line, Grand Rapids, Michigan. The tray top is 16 by 24 inches, cart with leaves down is 16 1/2 inches wide, 30 inches long including handle in upward position, it is 35 inches across with both leaves up. The cart shows some minor age wear in the paint especially along the sides where the leaves go up and down, some minor chips in the very hard rubber tires which are some what petrified with age, not enough to prevent a smooth ride for the cart.
