Set of 3 Vintage Antique Cherry Hardwood Nesting Tables End Tables No Reserve
Up for sale I have a set of 3 beautiful nesting tables. I really don't know much about them. I got them in a storage auction. They are all solid wood! no cheap particle board reproduction pieces. I don't know what brand they are. They all have the same part number on the underside(see pics) They look like cherry to me but i'm no wood expert so look at the pics and judge for yourself. They look older and I was told they are"queen anne" style. I have no idea what that means) They are very nice looking tables that would go nice with pretty much any decor. They are also in very nice shape. I have taken pics of every flaw I noticed. The largest table has one nick/scratch on the front face but it pretty much dissapeared with a little old english polish. You really can't see it unless your looking for it. I took the picture ... morebefore I polished it so you can see it at its very worst) and the smallest of the 3 tables has 2 imperfections on the top surface. 1 is mostly a natural imperfection from a knot in the wood. the other is a scratch. These also virtually dissappear with a little old english. I took pics of these before polishing them as well) Other than that the only marks on them are light scratches in the finish coat from things being set on them over the years. Nothing that really stands out. Sizes are as follows(1- Largest- 23" long x 16" wide x 22" tall) 2 Mid-size- 17" long x 14" wide x 20-1/2" tall) 3- smallest- 11" square top x 19-1/2" tall) This truly is a beautiful set. Antique Vintage c1930s Maple 3" Butcher Block Table Chicago Salvage Metal Base
This old butcher block table from the 1930s was salvaged from a Chicago meat packer and is in great vintage condition. The top has been sanded down and coated several times with tung oil to bring back its great sheen. Tung oil is an organic oil that is safe for food. Dings. Gouges and a few splits on the top are a character adding bonus and are consistent with age and use. The metal base is sturdy and stout and I believe the legs adjust in height(I didn’t try, but it looks like they screw up or down in order to level the top. It measures 36" w x 24" w x 34 ¼”h top is 3” thick. There is a stamp on the underside of the top that is not readable, but I included a photo of it anyway. C3097. this is a very lovely old table and will serve well it's owner for many more decades. it measuress about 42 1/2" x 42" without leaves and stands about 29 inches tall. it will take castors and that would give it a few inches more in height. But it does not have castors on the legs for this listing. it measures about 71 inches when the three solid oak leaves are in place. the leaves are about 9 1/2" wide. the table and leaves are solid oak; no veneer. i think it dates from about 1900 to the 1940's but not sure of that. it has turned legs and is heavy for it's size. thank you for looking and please visit all my furniture in my store. It is a lovely plant table made of mahogany wood. Carved sides and bow curved legs. There are two additional levels besides the top. The levels are attached by turned wood spindles. The top level has a beautiful beveled edge and the other two levels are carved with circle design pattern. I noticed that one leg is about 1/4" short and there is a hint of a wobble. I'm not sure if it is my tile flooring. But wanted to mention. A split in the wood is seen on one leg. The wood has been glued during the restoration and is standing strong. I'm not sure what the primary wood is, just that it's hardwood. The inlay is a lighter wood that creates a stunning design without being overwhelming. The largest table is 24" tall by 21-1/4" long by 14" wide. The second table is 20" tall by 16" long by 12-1/4" wide. The smallest table is 17-1/2" tall by 11" long by 11" wide. This antique oak end/ side table is very heavy( and is in immaculate condition for its age(early 1900s) With no surface damage or wear. It can also be used as a night stand) The table has three easily working drawers, with brass handles believed to be original to the piece. All four legs have original wood casters. Antique One-of-a-Kind Salvaged Cypress Sinker 3 Legged Table w/4 Matching Stools
My Great Grandfather made this table roughly 70+ years ago. It has been in our family at least that long. I've always known it as"The Cypress Table" but any Wood Experts input would be appreciated. The Origins of the Wood have been muddled with time but all agree that the wood was brought back from a fishing trip somewhere south of the Mason Dixon line. The nail holes have been filled in on the top with matching actual wood plugs(NO FILLER) leaving a nice smooth surface. The finish is very thick and this could possibly be suited for an outdoor table but it has never been left outside. My grandmother would clean it monthly with Murphy's Oil Soap and then wipe it with Orange Oil a few days later. This table is very thick and sturdy as are the matching stools. I remember my grandmother dusting the house and carrying around ... morea small stool to hit the high spots. There is no wobble in any of the pieces and they sit level on any surface. All the hardware is hidden and you have to search well to find a nail. There is a bit of filler on some of the foot rails. It is always on the bottom/back and impossible to find without a thorough search. I'm not sure if the filler was originally added or updated later by my Grandfathet. The 3 leg design allows even the large stools to fit neatly underneath with a floor footprint barely larger than the table top. There is a hardly noticeable 1"X3" chip on the side of the right rear table leg. When I moved this outside for pics the couple of places where I bumped the wall had a bit of white paint on them. The finish is so thick I just rubbed the paint off with a towel. It is a beautiful piece and would make a great breakfast table. Dining room table, bar or study desk. The table top measures Approximately 43.5" Long X 25" Deep and is 3.5-4.5" Thick on the sides. From the floor to the top of the table is 29" Tall. Shabby Antique Carved 2 Tier Table 3 Elephant Heads Tusks Trunks Winged Griffins
Original carved wood table with three elephant heads. Including their upturned trunks and tusks with thick carved"fencing" between each head depicting winged griffins amidst the other surrounding designs. It measures 28" high and about 22" in width. Please view photo 5 as it will reflect an old mend at the bottom of one leg, though that portion is tightly affixed to the leg. Each tusk has some gentle"give" but it seems thisis by the maker's hand as they are well secured to the heads. There are sone gentle scuffs bumps on some of the edges and feet, as would be expected. this is an old table so it will not look"new" though it is gorgeous from all angles, including the patina of the wood. There are two mirrors which fit into the recessed table top and lower tier. originally there may have been marble ... morebut the mirror makes the table look more"modern" or one can use the finished wood their tops. 1930's ANTIQUE BURL WALNUT INLAID NEST OF 3 TABLES FAUX BAMBOO REGENCY GEORGIAN
Antique Schmieg& Kotzian of New York georgian style set of 3 nesting tables with burlwood tops. The firm of Schmieg& Kotzian of New York was established in1910. They became extremely well known for exquisite design. Superior craftsmanship and outstanding quality furniture. They also were well known for their ability to obtain the best and the rare and exotic woods. This is an original set of 3 nesting Walnut tables that slide into one another. Tops of the tables are made from gorgeous Burled Walnut veneer. Each table has slightly different wood grain that was chosen so artfully that they compliment each other and create stunning results! The tables are in great condition and were VERY WELL preserved through the years. The top, or largest tabletop is just a shade darker than the smaller 2, as would be expected from age. The lower cross ... morebrace on the bottom of the smallest table(see photo) is broken off. But included for future repair. There are very few minor marks on the tables that you would expect from furniture of this age. The 1st table is 22 ½" high. The top is 17 ½" x 13" The 2nd table is 21 ½" high. The top is 15 ½ x 12" The 3rd table is 20 ½" high. The top is 13 ½" x 11 ½" I have not cleaned or oiled these. This is nice original, dry surface as shown.
