It can be used ... moreas a writing desk or a make-up vanity. It has three small pull out drawers on the inside with the middle drawer having a lift up mirror and there are three larger drawers below the desk area. The inside of the desk also has a couple of cubby shelves. If you look below the second shelf you can see someone has cut a small hole to pass cords through. I could not find any markers markings but I am guessing from other items in the house of this estate sale it is Danish and probably from the 60's or 70’s. It is of smaller proportions making it ideal for a smaller room. The approx. measurements are: 3’ 6½” tall/ 2’ 11” across the front and is 1’ 5¼” wide. There are a couple of very small little marks or bumps but nothing major and overall it is in Very Good used condition. This Would Be A Very Stylish Addition To Any Home! Rare Retro Danish Teak Wood Writing Desk With a Lift up Vanity Mirror Section From a local estate sale is this wonderful Teak Wood Desk. It can be used as a writing desk or a make-up vanity. It has three small pull out drawers on the inside with the middle drawer having a lift up mirror and there are three larger drawers below the desk area. The inside of the desk also has a couple of cubby shelves. If you look below the second shelf you can see someone has cut a small hole to pass cords through. I could not find any markers markings but I am guessing from other items in the house of this estate sale it is Danish and probably from the 60's or 70’s. DESCRIPTION: Gorgeous 6' long Mid Century Modern walnut triple dresser/ credenza. In the Danish Modern style, dating from the late 1950s- early 60s. It features tons of storage space with 12 drawers total, very clean, straight and distinctive lines and spectacular wood grain throughout. A single cabinet door on the left side is adorned by star or flower like sculpted relief cut patterns and opens to reveal four drawers, while the right side of the unit has eight graduating drawers in two columns. The retro elliptical hardware on the drawer fronts enhances its atomic age charm. DESCRIPTION. Fabulous and hard-to-find high chest of drawers designed by Edmund Spence and made in Sweden. This rare chest has 5 drawers in a beautiful and unique wave pattern with two tambour doors on top for lots of storage. A very well made and timeless piece of furniture. Marked on back: Made in Sweden. Factory no. 14. From the 1950s. DIMENSIONS 48" high by 38 1/2" wide by 20" deep. CONDITION OK vintage condition. Structurally sound, this does show signs of wear to the finish. There are numerous scratches, some small dark marks, a small 1" by 1/4" indentation on the top and a 2" by 1/2" veneer repair to the top rear corner. There are some small chips to the bottom side edges, and the bottom half of the backboard has been replaced. Please see pictures below for more detail.
