Made in England, Victorian era, Circa 1890, Mahogany, Hidden drawer, Carved leg, Dovetailed drawer, Some normal wear to top, Age splits and old repairs to apron, A wonderful antique specimen from England around 1890. This hall table was probably once used as a washstand. But today would function perfectly in a foyer, entryway, hallway, or stairwell. The mahogany has a particularly nice patina to it that can only come with age. The piece features a hidden drawer in the middle for a little bit of storage room. The nicely carved front leg gives the table some pizazz while the clean lines of the piece don't over do it. The drawer is dovetailed, a sign of high quality craftsmanship. There are a few age splits and old repairs in the apron shown in the photos. These are purely cosmetic phenomenon and do not affect the structural integrity of the piece. The top also shows wear marks consistent with age and has a faded ring to the right side. Overall the table is quite sturdy and would make a wonderful addition to any home. The top is a beautiful patinated mahogany. It is in good condition. You can see the slight ring to the right side. The top does show signs of wear consistent with age in the form of tiny dings all over the surface some of which can be seen here. The wonderfully carved leg is supportive and good looking. The hidden drawer pulls out to reveal some storage space. The drawer is dovetailed. A sign of high quality craftsmanship. Both sides have similar slight age separations and repairs on the apron. It came in with some surface scratches on the solid top which we have sanded out, stained and re-sprayed it so that it is all ready to go into the home or office scratch free. It is in the dark reddish brown mahogany stain finish that is really nice. It has notch carved molding all the way around the skirt. The brass hardware is intact on the dove tail drawer. It has a round corner top that is solid mahogany, carved cabriole legs, carved elbows and a bottom shelf support. The table is 42 inches wide, 26 inches deep and 29 inches tall. It has a great look. Description This is a Gorgeous Antique Victorian Table. Dated Circa 1880. Offered at a Low Start ~ WITH NO RESERVE* Made of Solid Mahogany. This table has been cut down at some point in it's life, and has now become the most perfect of Coffee or Side Tables. With Lovely well detailed Legs. This table has Drop Leaves to the Sides, so it would be so useful when extra friends come around! Antique Victorian Mahogany Ornate 3 Tier Plant Stand Lamp Table Restored Circa 1910's Fantastic Antique Victorian Mahogany Ornate 3 Tier Plant Stand Lamp Table Restored This table was restored by the previous owner a couple of years ago. It is a lovely plant table made of mahogany wood. Carved sides and bow curved legs. There are two additional levels besides the top. The levels are attached by turned wood spindles. The top level has a beautiful beveled edge and the other two levels are carved with circle design pattern. I noticed that one leg is about 1/4" short and there is a hint of a wobble. I'm not sure if it is my tile flooring. But wanted to mention. A split in the wood is seen on one leg. The wood has been glued during the restoration and is standing strong. This an amazing antique Victorian era solid mahogany lamp or center table. It has a stick and ball skirt top along with rope edge trim. Large spiral turned legs that sit on bronze talon feet with wood balls and a great set of bronze winged Griffins supporting the bottom shelf. It measures 28" square x 28 1/2" high and the bottom tier is 16" square. We have left the table just as found. There is a split on the top at a glue joint and a small wear spot which you can see in the pictures, there is a small piece of the rope edge trim missing, we have a new piece of rope edge that we will provide, otherwise the table is in good condition. Very Unique Victorian Multi-Tier Solid Mahogany Side Lamp End Table F/Scotland
This auction is for a very unique Victorian era multi-tier solid mahogany table from Scotland. This is a special table. You can't i magine how many tables I have seen in person and previewing sales online and I have Never Seen a Table Made like this one. It drips"Victorian" when you look at it. It has everything a top of the line true Victorian table should have on it. It has a pretty shaped beveled edge top as well as shaped beveled edge"side shelves" on each side and a very unique shaped beveled edge shelf. It has"fretwork" braces on each corner of the top and also on the side shelves. It has very pretty"carved knees" on the cabriolet legs tapering to spire type feet. It's wonderful to me. But I have always been a"Victorian Era" fan when it comes to furniture. What an entry table ... moreit would make for a small tp medium size foyer as well as a killer hall table. With the multi-shelves it has, there is planty of spce to display your'pretties" on. It would also make a nice window table as well as a side or lamp table or bedside table. The tables is 25 3/4" wide at it's widest point which are the edges os the two side shelves. It's 16" deep and 27 3/4" tall. The side or end shelves are both 13 1/2" X 6 1/2" and about 7 1/8" below the top. The bottom shelf is 19 1/4" X 12 5/8" and about 6" off the floor. The patina is a deep dark brown mahogany. There is No reddish tint to this table at all. The overall condition of the table is good, not pristine or excellent but good to very good. It is very stable and sturdy, there is No Rot or worm damage to this table. There is no telling how many times this table has been refinished or refurbished in the past 100 plus years. The finish on the table is good and ready to set out to use and enjoy. There is one piece of the"fretwork" under the table top that has been broken adn the bottom piece is missing, see pictures below, but this would be the backside

Vintage Victorian Style Mahogany Marble Top Side Parlor Table Plant Fern Stand C
This Victorian style marble top table is a reproduction. And was made in the 1940's- 1950's. We currently have three of these stands listed here on e-Bay and I believe that this is the better of the three. This quality piece of furniture has a good look about it. The marble top is Carrara marble from Italy and has a nicely beveled edge around it. It rests upon the mahogany base without being attached to it with hardware. This allows you to lift the marble off of the base, exposing the hollow cavity on the top and base, which you can use for storage of small items. Inside this cavity, the stand is marked"Victorian" with an impressed stamp. The base is beautifully styled and made of mahogany. It has four shapely legs, which have beveled edges and button plugs covering the mounting hardware. The turned central post is vase-like, ... moreand the wooden top has two routered channels encircling the piece, to further enhance its look. The piece measures 18 3/4" tall by 14" wide. The piece is roughly 60 years old and is not"show room perfect" due to normal use and wear over time. It has some bumps and bruises on the mahogany base. Which we have attempted to capture in the last of the close-up photos, as well as some light scratches, staining, and rough spots on the marble top, which we have also attempted to photograph. These small blemishes and minor abrasions do not detract from the piece in any way, rather giving it additional character, if even seen or noticed at all. Here is an absolutely fabulous late nineteenth through early twentieth two tier carved rope edge mahogany serving table with rather unique bits of carved rope spindles around below the top edge and straight spindles around below the lower surface and in very nice respectfully used condition. Free of any major damage or issues as described above in my detailed condition section of this listing and shown in my multiple clear photographs included in an attempt to accurately represent the design, quality, condition and overall beauty of this terrific antique carved mahogany serving table or side table with ball and claw feet. T he metal feet appear to be quality brass ormolu hardware and all four of these original talon feet are intact. This table stands 30 inches tall and measures 32 inches long and 23 1/2 inches wide.
