The top has surface scratches, nicks, and dings in it. We would recommend the tabletop being refinished to move the scratches, nicks, and dings from normal wear. It is 60 inches long by 48 inches wide and includes a metal ring style pullout for a 12 inch leaf which brings it to 72 inches. Very Good condition and Sturdy. This auction is for 1 table and 2 benches as pictured I have a love for the old cast iron bases made from the late 1800s to the 1940s. So I designed and built the A Frame to emulate them. The table base is made out of heavy gauge steel and aged to perfection. It has two connecting rods with large nuts that support and join the bases. The top is made of solid 2" mahogany and is trimmed with a metal riveted edge. The benches are made from the same 2" mahogany and have matching connecting rods. Vintage Herendon 1950's( dining table with double ball and claw feet. Awesome wood working on feet. Table top has been refinished poorly and has a gouge in it. Sorry. It's how I found it. Should be refinished. It has a leaf but it has been messed up by a do it yourselfer. Not sure it can be fixed. An experienced wood worker would need to do it. Feet and column supports look incredible, original finish and no damage I can see. The table is Heavy! This is a worthy project even if you have to pay to have it done. It dates to the mid-1900's and it is American. The rear surface. Including the legs, is perfectly flat to fit tightly against a wall when used as a console table. The legs are strong and tight and the table is not wobbly at all. The sliding mechanism that allows it to be opened into a table is sturdy and works smoothly. To use it as a petite table, the legs are slid out part way and then the top, which is double thickness when closed, simply unfolds. The table can then be pulled out longer. However, there are no leaves with it. It is in very good antique condition with a few minor flaws in the finish: there are two burn marks along the edges(photos) ... moreand there is some sun damage along the skirt on both sides(see photos) Dimensions: closed. Mahogany Drop Leaf Dining Table By Conway Co. Baltimore
Vintage mahogany dining room drop leaf table with 6 legs. Made in Baltimore by the Conway Co. Measures about 76 inches long and 42 inches wide when fully opened. Rests on 4 legs when in the drop leaf position. 2 legs on each end swing open to hold the leafs in place. Piece is small enough to put away until that extra company comes. When table is not opened fully it measures just about 42 inches L by about 28 inches wide. There is a slight unevenness I noticed in picture on end of 1 leaf. My driveway tilts down and I think I did not make the leg straight. If this is not the reason for slight tilt it is an easy fix to remedy. There are a few scuffs here and there on a table expected of an older piece. Still a very great extra table to have.

Antique mahogany dining table with drop leafs and gate legs. There is no maker's mark. But I believe it is from the 1940s. Two standard size side chairs can slide underneath on the ends with leafs down. With both leafs up it can seat 8 comfortably, 10 possible. There is one watermark on a leaf(see pic 4) And the top of one leg has some splitting that needs repairing(see last pic) Other than that there are some light scuffs and scratches, normal for a table of this age. I have a full set of custom table pads that will be included. A Large early 20th Century Table. Opens to 14 ft, seats 20. Made of solid mahogany. With six(6) leaves, nicely inlaid with a triple band of rosewood& satinwood on the top, with Hepplewhite legs heavily inlaid to match the top& apron, terminating in spade shaped feet. Closes to a 72" round table. The oval shape of the table top. The table top banding, the apron, the legs, the spade shaped feet, and the inlay on all of this, is nearly identical to the original Titanic Captains Dining Table. The original table d esigned by cabinetmaker Gilbert Logan at Harland& Wolff’s workshop in Belfast. Ireland, was intended for the private quarters of the Titanic’s captain, Edward John Smith. Lovely condition. Mahogany regency revival extending dining table on two pedestals, circa 1971. Beautiful polished rich inlaid mahogany top with inset band. Always used with protective heat resistant pad under a tablecloth. The height is 75cm and there three lengths: 271cm. 217cm and 173cm. There are two leaves each 54cm wide. Leaves slot in place on solid mahogany rails and have brass locks. The top has curved corners and a deep apron all round and the edge of the table is beaded. The twin pedestals have triple carved solid mahogany legs finishing with brass cappings and castors. The table in it's three sizes will seat 4. 6, 8/10 people easily. We have owned and looked after this beautiful table for 43 years. But now it is surplus to our requirements so looking for a new home. A REAL BARGAIN! This is a nice antique dining room table with extra leaves. Made of solid mahogany wood. It's very heavy. The legs are connected at each end and then down the center for stability and wonderful looks. Large pineapple style carvings on each leg. The corners of the table are cut diagonally for an attractive hexagon shape. Edges are slightly beveled. Lower edges have some inlaid wood. It measures 45 inches across x 60 inches long. There are 2 12 inch leaves to make it measure approximately 84 inches. Table has gears underneath that make it slide easily to open for adding leaves. It is in good condition. Refinishing is an option but not necessary.

Very good condition, The shaped legs of this antique draw leaf dining table are a Queen Anne style and sometimes called cabriole legs. They are quite attractive and are hard to find on a draw leaf table and even harder to find with such an elegant stretcher between them. Originally this table was made in England sometime around 1920 and is made from solid mahogany wood. The mahogany has aged well and displays a wonderful patina that everyone will enjoy. One ... moreeither end of the table is a pull out draw leaf extension. These leaves each add 14″ to the length of the table and can be pulled out independently of each other. This gives you the option to have the table 42″ long(closed) 56″ long(one leaf out) or 70″ long(both leaves out) As previously mentioned. The Queen Anne legs are a real treat to find on this table and even more spectacular is the elegant X-frame stretcher joining them. The X-frame is nice because it doesn’t interfere with chairs while adding strength to the table. Their gentle sloping shape mimics and compliments the cabriole legs. This table is in very good condition. The finish is excellent and the table is clean and ready to be used immediately. The draw leaves pull in and out easily. There is a small split on one end as shown in the photos and some minor marks(small dings) here and there as you would expect from something of this age. The table has been all resprayed in a luxurious mahogany color stain to remove all the tiny nicks, dings and scratches that have happened over the past years. Moving overseas and have to part with an immaculate antique dining room table made by the Louis F. Nonnast and Sons company from Chicago. IL sometime around 1914- 1923. Made of solid Mahogany. Table still has the original manufacturers tag. Has a built in slide extension for adding in leaf sections. Comes with three leaf extensions made later due to the great depression which forced most families to burn furniture for heat during the winter months. Leafs fit great but do not match the exact grain or wood stain of the original table, however they work great with a table-cloth when you need to accomodate a larger group. Table has very minor surface scuffs on it's surface, way less than would be expected from a table this old that was actually used day to day.
