So if your after the special one, this is for you. everything on this lamp base is Org. except I replaced the wiring& cord. Look at the great metal work on the shade supports& the Original multiple color swirl Slag glass surround by the Org. finish Oak base. This lamp base proudly stands 15" tall& a wing span of 11" for your shade.the arched feet of the base spread across 7 1/2" side to side. This base has not been messed with or taken apart. So I would say It has the Org glass. One side has the similar one on the opposite side it almost looks light colored(faded)but the wood is not faded& is still dark. So that's why I put a picture of the inside. For viewing all 4 pieces.the only way to change the glass is to completely take apart the base,which if you look at all the bottom corners it shows that it hasn't been taken apart. 2 out of the 4 metal shade holders have a little piece of wood they mount on& are loose. Came loose from age& just need a little glue to secure them.There are pictures of all 4 side& 1 picture of the little loose piece the has the shade screwed to it added to the very end of the picture slideshow. This is an antique Stickley era Mission style Arts& Crafts quarter sawn solid oak coffee table dating to the early 1900's. It appears to have originally been a library table that was cut down to be a coffee table. It measures 42-3/4" wide. 25-1/2" deep and stands 18" tall. It has bronze pulls on the drawer and the drawer is dovetailed. There are scratches and wear consistent with age and gentle use, and some minor blemishes. There are oak buttons that cover connection points and 10 are missing. I have not had a chance to replace them, but do have a bag of new oak buttons that will be included with the table. The finish is much darker than it appears in some of the photographs. Three of the photos show the true darker color. It is signed on the bottom leg with its original brass Roycroft plate. This is an original. Large oak library table, currently being decommissioned from the library in which it has resided since 1904. Measurements: Length: 95 ½ inches. Width: 47 ½ inches. Height: 31 ½ inches. This table will need restoration. As the top was covered in Formica, probably ... moreback in the 1970’s. Viewing the table-top from underneath, it appears that the original solid oak top is still existing beneath the Formica sheath. There is a piece of wood missing from one corner of the apron(see photo) The base finish needs restoration. However, this is a very solid, sturdy conference table. The double-pedestal base features 4 sided. Graduated columnar legs attached to an H-stretcher. The oak composing the legs and the stretcher appears to be quarter-sawn. Each side of the table apron has several shallow wide drawers adorned with carved oak bin pulls. This table may be picked up in Boylston. MA. Please email for an estimate if shipping is required. 1. Likely white oak. Fumed, not stained, to darkened, splayed legs. 2. Stretchers have 6 keyed tenons. End beveled, as are tops of keys. 3. Oak stock of leg pieces are 3/4 thick. Stretchers are 5/8" 4. Top is 3/4" thick. 13" x 17" quarter sawn. 16" tall Now. What is it, and whose partial decal is adhered to the bottom? Some A&C rockers were very close to the floor, and this may have been a table and magazine shelf nearby. It has not been upholstered, but one could sit long enough to get shoes tied. We have search at least 20 period catalogs on line, and found nothing even close to this. We believe by form and wood thickness that is is early, with the overall look of what some call"chunky" usually thought to indicate the earler style. It is a rubbed finish, no evidence of varnish, but perhaps over the ... morelabel. Unfortunately someone spent quite a bit of time picking at the label, which is either very thin paper or a decal. There is definitely a dark red color to the label, which looks to have a slight trapezoidal shape. Any assistance in identifying possible make will be helpful. Condition Specks of white paint here and there. Expected edge dents. Darker area to top, coarse cut to surface leaves texture of grain; certainly not put through a plainer. Stickley Era Antique Mission Oak Arts& Crafts Tabouret Table Stand Cut Outs Description. For your consideration is a: Stickley Era Antique Mission Oak Arts& Crafts Tabouret Table Stand Cut Outs. This Period Arts& Crafts Stand Has its original Finish and a very unusual cut out design on all 4 of its canted sides. The construction is solid and is very unusual with dado joints on two of the sides of the base for the other sides of the base to fit into. The top also is attached in an unusual fashion in order to prevent cracking as the wood shrinks across the grain over time. There is a piece of wood on the inside of the base which is larger than the opening at the top and has sides angled to match the canted sides of the base. This wood piece is attached to the underside of the top with screws which pulls the top of the stand to the ... morebase(just a note to lift the stand by the base and not the top so you don't put undo stress on the top. I have added rubber washers to the screws th at attach the wood block in the base to the underside of the top in order to take up some space from wood shrinkage since I did not want to over tighten the screws and crack the top or worse screw through the top. And the fix works well. There is a label under the t op with the number 52 and also also also some letters marked underneath the top which I wasn't able to make out. This stand is unlike any other that I have encountered and I am sure it will make a great addition to your Stickley. The top of the table does have a split which was glued by someone. Please see photos to view details of this piece. Each of the four top skirts is marked with 12 nail strikes that form a small circle. I am unfamiliar with this mark. But it is consistent on the four sides. This table has a lovely orange-y patina. But as you can see from photos, the finish is worn and uneven in areas. I have owned this table for a few years. But I was reticent to refinish it: I in no way wished to take away from its value. Vintage early 1900's Mission Oak pedestal fern stand signed Charles Limbert. Great Arts& Crafts form with the long. Sweeping arched corbels. Original finish. Very sturdy. Measures 32" high and 14" diameter top. Top surface has some dark areas. On the underside of the top there is a stable crack on one of the arched supports(see final photo for closeup) that looks like it may have been repaired at some time. This is a hard to find early Limbert stand that will fit well into most any space or decor. I have used it in my home for many years and it is for sale now as I prepare to move to a smaller home. Antique Mission Arts & Crafts Quarter Sawn Oak Plant or Fern Stand
Item: Up for auction is this nicely restored Quartersawn Oak Mission Arts& Crafts Plant or Fern Stand. The Stand is 35.75 inches tall; the top is 12 inches x 12 inches; the base is 12.5 inches x 12.5 inches. The stand is constructed out of highly figured quartersawn oak. And has a dramatic pattern throughout. The stand is finished in a medium oak tone with a satin finish. There are no maker's marks to identify the manufacturer. There are no signs of damage or previous repairs. There was a slight wobble to the stand that was remedied with a small felt pad(last photo) Rusted or worn screws were replace with coated Phillips head screw(see photo) Also, there is some separation in the corners of the egg and dart trim along the base which is attributed to age. The terms"restored" or"refinished" is not intended to convey ... moreperfection. While the refinishing process removes or reduces visible signs of wear, the items may retain subtle signs of its age and use. Overall, this Stand is in excellent condition and should provide many years of use and beauty. Pricing: I do not use reserve pricing. I will establish what I think is a fair starting price for each item. That way potential buyers can make a choice to pursue the item or not. And won't be placed in a position of having to guess the"magical" reserve number in my head. Packing: I pack all items myself. I take care to assure the item arrives safely. I have all but discontinued using cardboard in packing most antiques because of some in transit damage issues. For this item. I will build a plywood box for shipping. Inside the box, the item will be wrapped with plastic to avoid friction. The interior points of contact in the box will be lined with 1/2 inch rigid foam. The box will be put together with coarse thread screws. Hence, a Phillips head screwdriver, or screw gun/drill will be needed for unpacking.
