The tables are in nice structural condition and are fairly stable. I would not however recommend using these as your everyday end tables. These are perfect for someone who really knows this art and how to restore them. The gold paint is flaking and the paint on the top of the tables is as well. I purchased these at a fundraiser so I’m unsure if the original owner smoked(doesn’t smell it) or had any animals so you should assume they did. I'm pretty sure they had a cat. I'm highly allergic and touching them makes me itch but it doesn't smell like a cat. I have yet to clean these up since I don’t want to damage the paint any further. I would love to keep these but with 2 young boys they would never survive. The larger table(detail pictures shown first) is approx. 20” tall and the top is approx. 17” across. This has two broken off chips where the leg connects. these should not affect the stability. The smaller table is approx. 18” tall and approx. 13” across and has the same sort of damage to 2 parts. These also should not affect anything. For shipping. These will be disassembled and pieces will be individual wrapped. Up for sale is this beautiful antique industrial railroad factory cart with heavy duty cast iron wheels and hardware. This cart has be completely restored- great decor and very functional repurposed as a coffee table. It measures 48" long(53" to metal) by 25 1/2" wide and 15" tall. The distressed wood has lot of character which is all original. The wood was lightly sanded. Stained with Minwax"Cherry" then sealed with two coats of spar urethane. The three sided table has curved or rounded sides. Each side has a lovely draped center with the shell stencil above. The top repeats with three stenciled scallop shells. The stenci has a variegated green from a yellowish or chartreuse green in the center to a deep forest green on the outside as the shell ripples out. There are metallic gold bands of decoration both on the tops and sides to highlight the silhouette of the piece. The wood appears to be mahogany to me with a rich deep reddish and tone with a natural sheen. BUT please email me if I need to update/correct the listing ... moreon the type of wood. The underside of the piece shows a stamp that I can only read"DEC" with the other large mark appearing to be"237" as well there is also another mark or stamp that I cannot make out. The plant or fern stand or table stands 18 3/4 inches tall or high and 13 3/8 inches in diameter across the top of the table from the corner across. Very solid construction! Very heavy little piece! Underside shows metal pieces that anchor the tops to the side with one of the six pieces missing but that does not affect the integrity of the construction whatsoever. Original patina as shown! with table top showing a center darkened wear mark. There is also a lighter ring and a variety of spots.none of which that I have tried to clean whatsoever. Vintage Ornate Four Brass Corbel Coffee Table Base This very unusual and very ornate brass four corbel coffee table base was created about 25 to 30 years ago. The very ornate and large cast brass corbels are 16 1/2" high. 9 1/2" deep and 2 1/4" wide and date from around the turn of the century to the 1930's. The coffee table base is held together and supported by two thick and wide steel bars that cross each other and are bolted to the four corbels which are then covered by a long thick solid brass cap 43" long and 2 1/4" wide that finish them off. An elderly Antique Dealer once told me that the way to tell if the piece of furniture is an early piece is to look for SQUARE Nuts(instead of Hexonal Nuts) and this table has square nuts(legs are removable) and is indeed an early piece. Table shows age in the best way ~ lovely Patina. This is a fantastic genuine factory industrial work bench. It is around 100 years old and features thick cast iron machine legs and oak plank top covered in massive 1/8" thick wrought iron metal plating. The plating wraps over the front and back edges. It has wear and holes from use and installation but no cracks or breaks. It measures 8 feet long. 24" wide and 34" high and weighs an estimated 300lbs. Antique/ Vintage Small Oak 2 Tier Table with Victorian French Curved Legs End. Plant, Fern Stand, Taboret 18 1/4”high x 13” diameter round top with lower 6 1/2” square shelf Round top is made in one part. And sits on the legs. The legs gracefully curve and hold a 6 1/2” square shelf, approx 4 1/4” from the bottom. The legs are secured in a groove cut into the underneath of the round top. Crossbars are sturdily notched into each other. And sit 4 1/2" from base. Good condition structurally. I believe this is oak wood stained in a dark brown. Some staining on top. Vtg Antique 1920's wood Drop Leaf Tea Bar Liquor Server Cart Table with tongue and groove/ Dovetail wood drawer construction and nice rolling casters. Signed in drawer. The Furniture Shops. Grand Rapids, Mich. Very Sought after piece! Good antique condition. Rolls great on carpet or hard surface. Drawer opens and closes great. Has scuffs and scratches, indents, some wood loss, white paint scuffs, chips, some staining on top from cup or bowl ect. Nothing bad or very noticeable. Missing" one drop leaf slide board to hold the leaf up under the table. A board could be cut and put under to replace. Exact replacement could be made easily if you are a carpenter or know one. Measures approx. 28" x 20" x 28 1/2" tall. Sold as is as found with no warranty's. FREE local pick-up welcomed! Insurance and signed confirmation ... morerequired. Assembly may be required. VINTAGE DRAFTING TABLE Antique Drafting Table. Solid wood drafting/drawing table(presumed oak) Tabletop measures 42.5" long x 31" wide. Able to set to different angles. Great condition. Shows normal wear and a nice craftsman industrial. Machine age look. When tilted all the way up, the piece measures 45" tall, and with the table top flat it measures 34" tall. Antique tole painted bamboo floral tray table chinoiserie hollywood regency VTG
A beautiful 1940's or 50's tray table in metal and faux bamboo. An excellent floral basket painting that has a great old patina. Some wear and scratches that you can see. The tray measures 26 x 18 1/2" and sits 19 1/2" tall when resting on its stand. This will be very well packed to insure its safe arrival. In 1883 the company moved to larger premises in Tabernacle Street(in the East End of London) By 1899 the Harris Lebus furniture factory had become the largest furniture manufacturing firm in England employing over 1000 people. In 1900 Lebus bought some land by Tottenham Hale and constructed a large purpose built factory. Furniture was manufactured using very advanced machinery for the time. During World War I the production of furniture declined until the entire factory was employed manufacturing munitions. Particularly wooden items such as ammunition boxes, tent poles and pins, wheelbarrows and stretchers. In 1917 the factory constructed the Handley Page O/100 Bomber which were sent for final engine mounting and assembly elsewhere.
