This is a gorgeous antique dining room table. It is made of mahogany in the"Duncan Phyfe" neo-classical style with a double(dog. Lion, deer? It was made in the 1930's, I believe. It is 60 inches long by 48 inches wide and includes a metal ring style pullout for a 12 inch leaf which brings it to 72 inches. Very Good condition and Sturdy. Some scratches but nothing significant- Restore-a-Finish will quickly bring the luster back. I hate to sell it. But it doesn't fit in my new place and I've got nowhere to store it. Two standard size side chairs can slide underneath on the ends with leafs down. With both leafs up it can seat 8 comfortably, 10 possible. There is one watermark on a leaf(see pic 4) And the top of one leg has some splitting that needs repairing(see last pic) Other than that there are some light scuffs and scratches, normal for a table of this age. Refinishing is an option but not necessary.

It is a beautiful table dating from the 1940s. This came in on a recent load and it was all scratched. Nicked and dinged. It could not be polished to be sold. So we put it through our professional restoration shop to hand strip, sand, stain it a reddish brown mahogany color and put multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer. The table when closed is 60 inches long, 42 inches deep and 30 inches high. When you insert the 13 inch leaf it opens to be 73 inches long and will easily accommodate a set of 6 chairs around it. The round corner top has a dainty skirted trim underneath the top and the 13 inch leaf is also skirted so there is no ugly gap when the leaf is in the table. The table top sits upon two multi-turn vase type columns that have three cabriole carved ball and claw carved footed legs on each pedestal. Moving overseas and have to part with an immaculate antique dining room table made by the Louis F. Nonnast and Sons company from Chicago. IL sometime around 1914- 1923. Made of solid Mahogany. Table still has the original manufacturers tag. Has a built in slide extension for adding in leaf sections. Comes with three leaf extensions made later due to the great depression which forced most families to burn furniture for heat during the winter months. Leafs fit great but do not match the exact grain or wood stain of the original table, however they work great with a table-cloth when you need to accomodate a larger group. Table has very minor surface scuffs on it's surface, way less than would be expected from a table this old that was actually used day to day. Beautiful late 1800s early 1900s mahogany table with 6 chairs and three leaves. The table is 56" round without any of the leaves. Each leaf is 11" so extended the table is about 90" I bought this table on an antique buying trip in Baltimore in 1986. My mother. Who was an antique dealer, really loved this table and persuaded me to buy it. It has served us well and is in good shape. A few dings here and there but well cared for considering its likely about 120 years old and has made many moves over the course of time. Without the leaves, its round and easily seats 4 and will accommodate 6. With the leaves, it extends to easily seat 12 people. Good folding legs on the ends of the table for support when extended. This long antique dining room table is just over eleven feet in length and has three removable leaves. It is an English piece made there sometime around the year 1940 out of fabulous mahogany wood. To further enhance the natural beauty of the mahogany. A rosewood band was inlaid around the perimeter of the table top. At 133.5″ long and 39″ wide it has a pleasant shape to it. The three leaves are each a different size which allows for plenty of choices for how long you have the table. They measure 23″ 16″ and 22.75″ respectively. With no leaves in, the table measures 71.75″ long. The leaves are supported by two wooden beams that run the length of the table. These beams are removed and stored elsewhere when all the leaves are removed. Two Duncan Phyfe style three leg pedestal bases support the entire table. They are sturdy, strong, and look great! At the end of each foot is a brass claw foot and caster. This long antique dining room table is in very good condition. Both the beams and one of the leaves(the 23″ one) appear to be newly made leading us to believe this piece was recently restored in England. The pedestals both exhibit dings and minor marks on the legs. The top is in extremely good looking condition. Another reason we believe the piece to have been restored. Superb Quality Antique Style Vintage Mahogany Dining Table
This is a superb quality dining table with two extra leafs to the center. It sits on square tapered legs. It has a skirt all the way around with carvings, they are all very solid and very heavy. This will seat 8 people very comfortable. The table was made in Thailand around 1960 and made from the best quailty wood. There is just a very fine scratch to the top but hardly noticeable.
