Take a look at this magnificent piece! It’s a tiger sawn. Quarter sawn table– and I mean ALL over it– including the trunk, the legs, the claw feet, the rolled skirt and the top. It dates from 1900, in refinished condition. It has a split pedestal base with humongous claw feet and legs much, much bigger than normal, on a multi-turned fluted oversized column that splits in the middle, just like a Hastings, although I couldn’t find any manufacturer’s marking on this table. The table top is 54 inches round, with a rolled skirt, which means it isn’t flat but is concave, and really dresses up the table. The selection of veneer used on the top is the secret of this table’s beauty. It’s hard to duplicate this with solid wood, which is why they used lots of veneer back in those days. The veneer on this table top is in really nice condition, and there is only one spot you can see where there was a nick in a corner, which has been all repaired and is now fine. This table is all nice, tight and sturdy and ready for another 100 years of use, after being stripped, sanded, stained in a beautiful dark oak color that brings out the gorgeous grains, and then had multiple hand-rubbed coats of satin sheen lacquer applied for a durable finish that will last for years. It is a solid oak 54 inches quarter sawn top. The table is 30 inches high and when all four leaves are inserted the table becomes 8 feet long. It is a good-looking table with a large reeded center column and a platform base that goes down into the biggest ball and claw feet I have seen in a long time. The table is in a medium oak stain. I purchased these from an antique dealer in Carmel several years ago. Who had lived in Bali and Indonesia and had these shipped over many years ago. They stand stand 17" 17.5" tall(one a tad bigger than other) Including a 2" thick top, ... moreapproximately 50" in circumference, measured around the middle. Base is about 3" thick and measures about 14" with octagonal corners. Top measures 19"x 20" for one, other is 18.5"x 19" These are beyond fabulous for tables! They are so heavy and solid. I would guess they weigh at least 100 pounds plus, or more. Original paint, pinks, yellows, greens, more, all deeply carved with the ancanthus leaves, portion of a face in one. Symbolic I am sure, but I only know that they are antique, solid hand carved, with beautifully weathered old natural rustic paint. They are carved all the way around. I cannot hardly move to photo! Beyond shabby chic! Fabulous patina! The natural wear of salvage but that is their beauty! One side on each has a crack that doesn't go through that only adds to the patina. Please see photo of the only one to me, of any consequence, does mot interfere with use. Usually when found they are all cracked from weather but these still retain their artistic solid qualities! You are bidding on a fantastic c.1910 tiger oak file cabinet repurposed into a coffee table. If you don't want to use it as a coffee table the legs easily come off. The cabinet has been cleaned up to look as close to new as possible. We added a custom top and stained it to match as close as possible. We then added stainless legs to make this a cool coffee table. There is the original hole there in one of the drawers for where the lock was but the lock is missing. The entire cabinet measures 33" wide 17" deep and 17" tall. ~ Beautiful Antique Tiger Oak 5 Leg Dining Table w/1 Leaf ~ Up for your viewing is an awesome tiger oak dining table that I purchased from an estate auction about a year ago. I actually purchased two tables. One was round(which I already sold) and this one. They both had been stored in I believe an attic, for they were very dusty and dirty due to being stored for many years. This table appears to have quite a few layers of varnish or stain on it and when they stored it I believe they put a vinyl table cloth on it, the kind with the cotton or felt like lining and through the years of heat and the layers of varnish it has on it the lining somewhat stuck to the top of the table. When I went to clean it up the fuzzy stuff would not come off no matter what I did so we thought we would try a spot with some paint stripper and it come off. That is ... morewhy the spot is on the top. My intentions then was to strip it off and restain it but never had the time to do it and hated to see this beautiful table sit around and need the space so I am selling it as it is. As you can see on the spot that we stripped under all the varnish that was on it the grain is beautiful and on the leaf, it is the natural color. This table is on wheels except for the center one is missing. But I should have one somewhere around here that I will put on it if I do. Also there is a piece of wood that is off on one of the legs as shown in the pictures. Other than that it is very nice. Once it is restained or whatever one wants to go about finishing the top it will look awesome. The table measures 42" square x 30" tall without the leaf and 25-1/2" from the ground to the bottom of the table. The leaf is approx. 12" wide. I have provided several pictures to view. Please view them carefully and ask any questions prior to bidding or purchasing. I will be happy to answer them the best I can. This is an antique Stickley era Mission style Arts& Crafts quarter sawn solid oak coffee table dating to the early 1900's. It appears to have originally been a library table that was cut down to be a coffee table. It measures 42-3/4" wide. 25-1/2" deep and stands 18" tall. It has bronze pulls on the drawer and the drawer is dovetailed. There are scratches and wear consistent with age and gentle use, and some minor blemishes. This is an antique heavy table that has been in the family for years. My dad refinished this beautiful round oak table years ago. The table is 29" tall and 23 1/2" round. The bottom shelf is 13" from the floor. The top of the table has a design etched in the wood. This would make a nice foyer. Side table or lamp table. Also great for the Christmas Holidays to hold your Nativity set. This is a very sturdy table. It seems as if a small piece of glue has come loose from the top of the table on one of the seams. Here’s an antique Trestle Table which I acquire in the late 70’s with the purchase of an old house in Pinehurst NC that was build in 1919. This is one of the many beautiful antique furnishings that were included with the purchase. Today I use this versatile piece in the kitchen for preparing and serving food. This double trestle table measures approximately 30 ½” x 72” x 28” H x W x D) The table top surface is made up from several long thick oak plank boards with beautiful figuring in the grain. There are wormholes and cracks in the oak surface reflecting the vintage age of this piece. Authentic Antique 1932'HOOSIER' Tiger Oak Dining Table* This is a genuine Hoosier Tiger Oak dining room table with turned legs. It was made by the Hoosier Kitchen Equipment Company of New Castle. Indiana. It has a hidden extension leaf in the center of the table that is connected to hinges on each side. When the sections are pulled apart, the hidden leaf is exposed. It is then raised and jointed together to each section. Underneath, there is a gear that turns on two tracks with teeth as the sections are moved back and forth with ease. There is a metal stamped plate underneath above the gear area. That patent plate shows that this unique design was created& engineered by the Hoosier Kitchen Equipment Company. The table measures 46" long without the extension leaf in place. With the extension leaf. It measures 63" long. ... moreIt is 30" high. The condition is VERY GOOD ++ and it has obviously been well cared for. Still looking beautiful. It does have some'warping' in the center of the table and with the extension pulled up and out. It does have some nicks and scratches and so forth but they are superficial and I am certain they can also be fixed quickly if you have the'know how' The finish still looks very nice! As the table is opened, the two center legs come up and form a triangle, allowing the insertion of two heavy-duty beveled edge shapely round drop-leaves to make a much larger table. The table has been completely refinished in a beautiful oak stain and multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer have been applied. The overall size, when the table is closed, is 19.5 inches wide, 42 inches deep and 28.5 inches high. When the leaves are flipped up, it measures 53 inches wide. In really nice condition, this table has a few small dings on top that didn‘t sand out, but they really just add to the charm and character of the piece. Antique Dietzgen Drafting Table University of Illinois Cast Iron Oak Original
Very Large and all original antique Dietzen(king of drafting tables) drafting or architect table- cast iron still has original paint from the early 1900's. this has a very old university of illinois inventory stencil on it with a 4 digit serial number. the solid oak wood on the base is in amazing shape with no cracks or bad spots. the original top with all original hardware is birds eye maple with a few ink spots but no bad spots that need refinishing. I have not tried to clean this at all. a refinisher told me simple rubbing alcohol will take the ink off, i got this for my kid but it is way to large for his room with the top measuring 3 by 5 foot. it stands 42 inches tall and can be adjusted down with the turn of a wheel to 33 inches. it can also swivel to an almost vertical position for painting or art projects or storing somewhere ... morewhen not in use. i will definitely allow local pick up but i will ship, it will be the buyers responsibility to set up shipping. it is quite large and im sure usps or ups will not take it-i saw where greyhound bus lines does shipping but you have to pick it up at one of their terminals for a couple hundred bucks or uship is a great service and could probably be arranged for a couple hundred dollars. im very easy to work with and will make this as effortless as possible for the buyer. if shipped i will wrap with bubble wrap and blankets for the shipment. i can also deliver within a reasonable distance for a fee of dollar a mile. very cool steampunk antique item that will hold its value and most likely increase over time. you will likely not find one of these especially in this great shape that has not been refinished. being all original and this great i think the value of this with being from the university of illinois and from the early 1900's i think the value of this is triple the starting amount.good luck bidding and ask any questions. thank you.

Made of quartersewn oak. It's believed to be dating from the early 1900's. This table is original, and has never been refinished. It has one leave. The legs are heavy and carved, and it's been well preserved. The ware is better than normal for a piece of furniture this age. I think it could use some linseed oil, but I've done nothing to it since it's arrival. Selling as pictured, table only, as found. I would be happy to answer any question you have.
