Her we have a 2 nice seest of ANTIQUE VINTAGE ORNATE 2 CAST IRON WALL SHELF SHELVES BRACKETS. I would rate them to be on a(8+/9) used vintage shape. The brackets measure 9 1/2" tall x 7 1/2 across the top. They have an ornate curl on the end where the shelf would rest. I would say a 6" deep shelf would be placed in the area. Each side of the shelf brackets have 4 holes for mounting to the wall and 4 holes to mount the wood shelf you provide. These were commonly used at the turn of the century and seen in Grocery Stores. Description(4) vintage cast iron wall mounted brackets. The vintage cast brackets came out of an old shed where horse harnesses were draped over the rounded cut-outs on the top portion as they would mount. Also. There was other tack hung on the old cast hangers. Absolutely no cracks, breaks, or repairs on the brackets. All solid cast iron. All have three flanged cast iron lips for the wall mount security. If you wold look closely, you can see that the extended arm that carries the load is arched like a bridge for added strength. They x 1/4" x 1/2" oval arched support that connects from the wall mount to the scalloped top supports. They are very well constructed. There are a set of two for each window( one on each side) These Rod Brackets are mounted on each side of the window and can swing away to expose the entire window. 3 ANTIQUE CAST IRON WALL BRACKETS/ COAT& HAT HANGERS. ORNATE& OLD! Three nice. Old cast iron brackets. It looks like they could be coat and hat hangers. All the patina/rust is light surface rust, nothing pitting. These could easily be painted to fit any decor. They would extend about 6" from the wall, the smaller hook is about 2 1/2" from the wall.They do show lots of age, one small hanger is bent outward at a small angle. There was wire wrapped around some of the brackets and when I removed the wire, I scrapped off the'age patina' and left a few small shiny scratches. I am not sure of the age of these. Since I picked them up at an estate sale, but they do have a vintage look, and they are cast iron. They are a warm gloss white color, look to be baked on enamel. They measure about 10.5" tall and extend out about 7.75" from the wall. You are bidding on a Pair of Cast Iron East Lake Victorian Wall Shelf Brackets 8" X 6" They are 1" at the widest point on the bracket. They measure 8" on one side and 6" on the other. Overall they are in very nice condition. They have a great East Lake Victorian style and are ready to use with very little effort. I do not see any chips. Cracks or breaks in either piece.
