Description(4) vintage cast iron wall mounted brackets. The vintage cast brackets came out of an old shed where horse harnesses were draped over the rounded cut-outs on the top portion as they would mount. Also. There was other tack hung on the old cast hangers. Absolutely no cracks, breaks, or repairs on the brackets. All solid cast iron. All have three flanged cast iron lips for the wall mount security. If you wold look closely, you can see that the extended arm that carries the load is arched like a bridge for added strength. They x 1/4" x 1/2" oval arched support that connects from the wall mount to the scalloped top supports. They are very well constructed. 3 ANTIQUE CAST IRON WALL BRACKETS/ COAT& HAT HANGERS. ORNATE& OLD! Three nice. Old cast iron brackets. It looks like they could be coat and hat hangers. All the patina/rust is light surface rust, nothing pitting. These could easily be painted to fit any decor. They would extend about 6" from the wall, the smaller hook is about 2 1/2" from the wall.They do show lots of age, one small hanger is bent outward at a small angle. There was wire wrapped around some of the brackets and when I removed the wire, I scrapped off the'age patina' and left a few small shiny scratches. There are very small areas of dark blue paint showing in some places. Shipping is $5 USPS Priority mail. Shipping to USA addresses only.

Here is a nice old Vintage Oil Lamp Hanger. Hook, Bracket and/or Plant Hanger. This bracket is most likely for hanging plants because it has an image of a potted plant cast into each side of it by the mounting base. Use it for what you like. It looks to be made out of cast metal.I'd make an educated guess and say it's aluminum by the fact that a magnet does not stick to it and by the shiny silver color where the paint is off on the backside, it looks like shiny aluminum peeking through the paint. 4 Antique or vintage Cast Iron Extending Swing Arm Curtain Rods Hangers Brackets
Up for sale are 4 cast iron swing arm style curtain rods with mounting brackets. They are extendable. I'm not certain of the age. They were in a box along with much more cast iron window hardware. The box came out of a Brownstone building in Boston Ma. All the items are antique or vintage. But I'm not an expert, so please look at the pics and decide for yourself. The rods are mostly black with some brassy tones showing through. The overall length of the rods are approximately 15.75" when collapsed. 23" overall when expanded. The rod part is 12" when closed and up to 19" or so inches when extended. These rods are a bit tough to extend or contract. But they still work. I lightly sprayed the mating parts with wd40 to get them moving, so there may be a slight residue to wipe off, but I did a pretty good job of freeing ... morethem up and wiping off extra wd40. These are sold in as found condition, so they have imperfections and paint loss here and there, but are in overall good shape. Please see pics. Please ask any questions before bidding. Thank you! I am offering for auction 4 wonderful antique BRASS OR CAST WALL HOOK HANGERS FOR COAT AND HAT These are really nice and three of the four are in excellent used condition. One has slight damage to the back plate(see pictures for details) I would date these to the early 1900's. See above for measurements. The finish is gold but they are tarnished and need cleaned. Not sure of the metal composition. Either brass or cast iron, you be the final judge prior to bidding as they are being sold as such. Great antique addition to any home renovation. For sale are 4 vintage/antique large cast iron hooks/hangers. These hooks measure 17" long and when mounted will extend approximately 12" or more downward from the wall at a 45 degree angle. Each one has 8- one inch hooks. They were originally painted/japanned black. But that finish is wearing and the original metal with some patina and rust is showing. They have many uses- in the barn with horse tack, in a shed or garage for tools, in the kitchen for pots or utensils, or any other organizing need. These type of hangers were used before as display racks in hardware or general stores. They are in very good condition- no chips. Cracks, or welds. Mounting screws are not included. You could even use these on either side of a window to hold a curtain rod. Each of these is 6 3/4" high and about 3 1/2" wide. I do not have the screws for them– each one uses 2 screws.
