This is a wonderful pair of antique cast iron Eastlake style shelf brackets! They measure a touch over 7" by 5" They date from around the 1870-80's. They are in as-found contdition and have green and are a little rusty. I have not tried to clean them at all. The condition is very good. This is an Eastlake cast iron plant hook in very good condition. It mounts into the wall by screwing in directly. Excluding the screw it is 8 7/8" long. The screw portion is 1 3/4" long. The hook is 1" deep. This hook has some surface rust in places that would be cleanable or it could be left for a shabby style look. There is no damage at all.

Up for auction is this fabulous antique Victorian/Eastlake cast iron. Ornately detailed, plant hanger hook. This is a heavy solid piece- beautifully made. The metal is completely sound, no cracks, breaks or repairs. It was designed to pivot or swivel, doesn't move much now, could use an oiling- WD? It is decorated with beautiful cut-out designs and embossed Eastlake stylized detailing on all sides. It connects to the large cast iron wall bracket with a rod topped off with an acorn finial. Purchased from an architectural salvage many years ago, these were taken from a barn demolition in Jamesville, New York the name of which I cannot recall, but these were being used in a horse stable. Antique Cast Iron Shelf Brackets. Matching pair of antique cast iron shelf brackets in the Eastlake style circa early 1900's. This pair is unmarked and measure 15 1/2” by 17 1/2” They are not coated and have a nice oxidation. Should clean up nicely. Weigh nearly 10 pounds. Condition: These brackets are in good condition with no breaks or repairs. The surface has a“weathered” patina and the design is not as crisp as it was when it was new. There is rust on some areas. Pair of Antique Ornate Victorian Shelf Brackets, Cast iron, 9x7 in, old Eastlake
This is a lovely pair of old Victorian shelf brackets. These antique shelf brackets are made of cast iron. These were cast in an ornate pattern with stylized flowers and repeating geometric shapes. They are each 8 3/4 inches by 6 7/8 inches by 7/8 inch at the corners. Each bracket has 6 mounting holes. At some point the shelf bracket were painted white. Some of the white paint has worn off at the edges. And there is more white paint on one side than on the other. This is a terrific pair that will look great whether you leave them as they are, repaint them, or strip and wax them.
