SIX(6) ANTIQUE MATCHING ORNATE BRASS VICTORIAN EASTLAKE DRAWER PULLS Offered in this auction are antique/ vintage solid brass lot of SIX ornate drawer pulls we believe to be Eastlake design. They are designed with very unique ornate design of flowers and inscriptions on backing plates and handles. There are six matching pulls which were in two batches with identical patterns. So we combined since one is missing the handle and one is missing single attachment nut(see pictures) to accommodate furniture makers/restorers with plenty of matching handles. They are all solid brass including the mounting bolts(unique to the handles I have seen) with exception of attaching steel nuts. The dimensions are as follows: 4 3/16" Long by 1 1/8" Wide. Here is a set of ten antique drawer pulls. They are cast iron with an Eastlake or Aesthetic design. They measure 3 3/4" across and it's about 3 5/16" from center to center of the holes for the screws. They look like they had a gold finish at one time that is mostly worn off(see pictures) I'm not sure if it was original or not so please look at the pictures. We're also including 18 screws that were with the pulls and probably came from whatever piece of furniture the pulls were removed from. This is a nice set of old matching pulls. Here are six Victorian-era drawer pulls with drop handles. An online store offering reproduction antique drawer pulls refers to this style as"William& Mary" To my eye they represent Eastlake-inspired design. The copper-plated tin( back plates are 2-1/4" across. Extending from the back plate is a 3/4" shank. From which is suspended a 2" x 1-1/8" iron pull. Each pull has a 3/4" mounting screw. Offered for sale is this antique lot of 5 Eastlake Victorian Brass Drawer Pulls. The top 3 pulls on the board are slightly larger than the bottom two. The top pull has been cleaned to a shiny brass finish while the other 4 need cleaning. The screw holes measure about 2 3/4" apart while the length of the pull is about 3 3/4" The screws are all newer screws and have nuts on them being used as washers. RARE 8 EASTLAKE VICTORIAN ANTIQUE BRASS DRAWER PULLS RISING SUN BIRD
This auction is for a set of 8 large drawer pulls with drop handles and a backplate pattern with a rising sun and 2 birds and a mountain and foliage. There are very elaborate. I just bought these at a local estate auction of a local deceased physician. They are handsome and heavy. Weighing almost 2 pounds. The auctioneer called them Oriental but I believe that are Victorian/Eastlake. They are solid brass and measure 4 3/4" with the screws being 4 1/2" apart(please look at the pictures) 7 of the pulls still have the original screws and what maybe called a washer that butts up against the drawer on the inside. For the 7th pull you will need to purchase 2 screws and a washer. I see no makers name for the hardware. I have done no polishing. Some of the pieces show some wear in the center and perhaps they were the drawers that were used ... moremore. They are authentic and that is the way they should look on an authentic piece. I can find smaller, slightly more ornate reproductuction pulls for sale for $55 each, but you will know and they will look too new for an old piece, plus they are $20 more expensive! All the drawer pulls are authentic cast iron antiques as is the holder for the window curtain rod. Three of the drawer Pulls can use light wire brushing. Cleaning in order to restore them to original appeal. Please see photos. The ornate black pull that was restored is dated on the underside-Oct 14th. 1872 I am going to provide the measurements for the drawer pulls. In order as they can be viewed in the first photo I posted with this ad- starting with the pull at the top in the photo(1) going on down to the bottom(4) 1 drawer pull measures approx. 3 and 3/8 wide by 1 and 3/8 inches high and projects outward approx 3/4 inches. From center of screw hole to center of screw hole approx 3 inches. 2 Drawer Pull measures approx. 4 inches long overall. And project outwards by approx 1 inches. and measure 2 and 6/8 inches from center of screw hole ... moreto other center of screw hole. 3 Cup Drawer Pull measures approx 3 and 1/8 inches long with an outward projection of approx. 3/4 inches Measurement from center of screw hole to center of screw hole is 2 and 5/8 inches#4. Drawer pull measures approx 4 inches long with an outward projection of approx. 3/4 inches. Measurement from center screw hole to other screw hole is approx. 3 and 3/8 inches. The Cast Iron Curtain Road Holder projects outward approx. 1 and 7/8 inches with the diameter of the"hole" for the rod measuring approx. 7/8 inches wide. This piece is also authentic and has been restored and then painted with black primer. It features a lovely scroll and leaf design on the sides.
