Set of 2 Antique Matching Brass? Drawer Pulls Drop Down Handles Ornate 3" Holes
This is a set of two. Ornate, antique drawer pulls with drop-down handles. They measure approximately 3in. from hole to hole. Overall measurements: 4in. long* 2 1/2in. from the peak of the backplate to the bottom of the drop-down handle* 1 1/8in. long screw These are original and came off the drawer of an antique commode. Not sure if they are brass. Copper or bronze(a magnet does not stick, if that's helpful) On the back, where the screw meets the backplate, one screw is tightly sodered, the other has some movement. Not sure if the is how they were constructed or they just loosened over time. Once the pulls are attached to a drawer it would be a non-issue. Both need a cleaning! Victorian Set Antique Gargoyle Griffin Handles Pulls Key Holes Locks Please check the pictures to examine the detail. Checking the pictures and item description for condition. Click on to the pictures for a larger view. This set of hardware was found together without keys to open the locks. I do not know if the locks can or will work. Since I do not have a way of testing them I do not know the condition of the locking mechanisms. Nails and screws are included. One screw is missing and they are possibly from a later date. Please bid accordingly. This interesting set is as found and has not been cleaned. It contains six detailed Victorian Gothic gargoyle designed pulls and twelve square nuts with attached washers. The handles appear to be gray metal that is not magnetic. The gargoyle parts appear to be stamped brass, the threaded rods and square ... morenuts with attached washer are magnetic steel. Each of the three key hole plates appear to be cast brass and includes a total of six round head nails. There is surface rust on the three drawer locks and I do not know if they will still function. They are magnetic steel and include eleven screws. One is missing. The decorative part of the pulls are approximately 4 5/8 inches across. The inside distance in between the two mount threaded rods is approximately 2 3/8 inches. 40 Vintage Fixed Handle Cabinet Drawer Pulls Lot 3" Holes/Brass Look Pot Metal
Lot of 40 vintage fixed handle drawer or cabinet pulls. Large lot of 40 matching handles. They measure approximately 3 1/4" wide with the screw holes measuring 3" apart on center. They are marked on the back of handle with"344H" and have a circle with an A in it. Followed by another circle with what I am guessing is a C in it. Have no idea who the manufacturer is. I also do not know what the metal composition is of these 40 handles. They look brass. But I would guess they are painted pot metal. A magnet does not stick to them and inside the screw holes you can see gray metal, not brass. 40 vintage handles have been previously used and show varying signs of age and wear. Some handles have paint remnants on them. Some have slight corrosion.
