This is a gorgeous antique dining room table. It is made of mahogany in the"Duncan Phyfe" neo-classical style with a double(dog. Lion, deer? It was made in the 1930's, I believe. It is 60 inches long by 48 inches wide and includes a metal ring style pullout for a 12 inch leaf which brings it to 72 inches. Very Good condition and Sturdy. Some scratches but nothing significant- Restore-a-Finish will quickly bring the luster back. I hate to sell it. But it doesn't fit in my new place and I've got nowhere to store it. Antique Mahogany Vintage Pedestal Table with Brass Claw Feet by Imperial This table was aquired used in Chicago in the 70's and served in a one person print shop for over a decade. Hence the ink all over it. Then it was a lamp table until now. All the wood is tight. There are no loose wood parts. Approximate measurements: 26 inch diamter. 28 inches tall The current finish predates the print shop. As it is under all the ink spots. The finish is likely not factory since it is splattered atop the signature. the amount of varnish is obscene! I cannot make out the signature. Any ideas? I'd love to hear them! Shoot me an email! The underside bears 2 stickers, the upper is IMPERIAL GRAND RAPIDS MICH. and the other is from the MAHOGANY ASSOCIATION INC, GENUINE MAHOGANY NUMBER 123 The piece itself is also numbered 655 The table has ... more3 feet. Antique Duncan Phyfe Style Round Side Table Tripod Pedestal, Brass Claw Cap Feet
A lovely round Federal style table with a pie-crust top(scalloped on the inner and outer edge of the table top) Mahogany or Rosewood is in wonderful condition. Not sure which wood it is made from. But based on the weight I believe it is mahogany. If it were rosewood it would be even heavier. This one was part of the estate sale from a family that was cleaning out their 3rd generation 103 year old farmhouse. No idea who the actual maker is; is this a Duncan Phyfe original? I don't know; I understand that only a very few original Phyfe pieces(out of the many made) were actually marked. If anyone looking can give me more clues as to whether this piece IS an original Phyfe please do so and I will re-list with an appropriately higher price: Just kidding. Even if it wasn't made by Mr. Phyfe it is still a very old and beautiful solid wood ... moretable. If you can even find a table made from all solid real wood in the stores nowadays you will definitely be looking at a few hundred dollars, minimum. Look closely at the pictures. And note the metal pieces on the underside(pictures#6& 7) that were used in attaching the tripod legs to the spindle. Also take a peek at the screw heads on the underside of the table top(picture#5) this is a pretty good indicator of the age on this piece. The top can be removed from the base by unscrewing in a counterclockwise direction. The base is a tripod(three legs) The foot of each leg has a vintage brass claw cap. Sets of 3 of the new(not vintage) brass claw caps(without legs or a table! were selling on Ebay by another seller for $39.00. At some point in more recent history, someone placed metal taps on the bottom of each foot; it is obvious that these were a much later addition. take a look at picture#8! This is a beautiful. Heavy, well-made old table in great condition. There are the normal signs of wear that one would expect to see on an older table including a couple of scuff marks on the base of the legs near the feet and a couple of light use marks on the top. This table features a solid walnut top with a table apron of feathered walnut and rests on a large mahogany octagon center pedestal with four out-stretched legs each with acanthus carved leaves on the top and large ball& claw feet with the casters. This table does come with one leaf that is not original but appears to have been made by the previous owner to go with the table. Measurements: 29 3/4 inches high 25 3/4 inches from the apron to the floor 54 inches across with the leaf in place: 54 in. by 64 1/2 in. Table weighs approximately 125 lbs. I am selling this wonderful Tiger Oak table that can be used for a kitchen or dining area. It is a dramatic piece and everyone comments on it when they come in. As you can see. I used it in a kitchen nook with a window seat before I changed decor. The table is 45" diameter. I have no idea how old it is but there is a sign on the bottom that says_Co. Montoursville, PA. I can't read the first part of the sign clearly. It is in good antique condition with a couple of bumps that could be retouched. See the next to last photo and look toward the center. The other bump did not show up in my pictures. It has a couple of injured paws as shown in 4 and 7 and the locking mechanism underneath may need another part to help it close. I do not have the leaf. Vintage mahogany tri-leg side table with brass claw feet
This is a lovely vintage mahogany side table. Worthy of any room. It measures 19.5 inches tall with a 14 inch diameter table top. The three legs are inlaid and finished with brass claw feet. Its only flaw is a very thin three-quarter inch indentation in the table top that barely shows in bright light. Overall, the table is in very good condition for its age. it stands 29" high by 32" wide. the brass feet have castors on them. this is a used table from the 1930's not a new one so there is a chip here and there. And MUCH admired. please notice the stunning old doll lamps. they are all original and working! i think they are a metal or porcelain of sorts. I am not sure. they are also very old. they are about 49" tall, the dolls are 24" including the base, and the original and near mint shades are aprx 22" tall. there are also two old porcelain wall hangings, they all match and compliment each other, in my opinion. anyway. Vintage Duncan Phyfe Style Solid Mahogany Drum Table Claw Feet Drawer Lamp/Side
Beautiful well made table in very good original condition. Top is 26" diameter. Height is 27 1/4" It has a single deep pull out drawer and brass paw feet with claws. Drawer is well made as is the table. Top and sides are pretty much near perfect. Legs have some minor scuffs and scratches. The large center post you can see the glue joints where they put it together. The one leg has had a screw put in on the lower side so it must have been a little loose and someone tightened it up. You can't see it unless the table is upside down. It is sound and solid with no wobble. Leg spread is 19" closest toe to closest toe. No maker name that I can see. It is available here for local pick up only. To ship it would need disassembled with a cost of a minimum of $140 even by greyhound. VINTAGE CLAW FEET TABLE LEG ENDS W/NAILS, CLAWFOOT
This auction is for 4 vintage claw feet table leg ends with original nails. The table was my grandmothers that needed repair to the wood which I never got around to doing so I salvaged the claw feet.
