Antique Hardwood/Glass Display Case 55" Wide with 40" H Long Legged Table Base
This is a handsome hardwood and glass display case that measures 58"W. 20"H and 14"Deep. The dark stained hardwood is in very good condition and all glass sides and on top are fine and intact. I have kept large collectible cookie jars in this case(which will be put on sale as well) The rear of the case has only a black curtain on a spring rod that I have used for access. I am including a tall dark stained table for the display case. It measures 58"W. 40"H and about 14" deep. It is fairly sturdy and in VG condition(see picture) Items will be displayed very well in this older piece(date of case is over 50 yrs. Please note: I can deliver only in the immediate Boston. Antique Machine Age Industrial Cast Iron Drafting Coffee Table Base Steampunk
Here we have a great antique cast iron base with hand cranks on each side that turn a gear. The gear comes out a little bit above to top of the table base I imagine it would make for a cool adjustable drafting style coffee table. As you can see from the photos these legs are a bit top heavy. I put a small piece of cardboard to hold the two legs together and they stood up fine no problem so I don't think there would be any issue once a top is crafted for them. The bottom of the legs can also be mounted so this could either be mounted to the floor or even on top of a taller table to craft or even the wall. These legs stand about 18 inches tall not counting the gears and cranks.

The table base is made out of heavy gauge steel and aged to perfection. It has two connecting rods with large nuts that support and join the bases. The base is a cast iron pedestal from a metal working lathe from 1942. The door on the front opens. The original layers of paint are still there with a different shade showing thru in various spot from many years of use. The cast iron has been cleaned and lightly waxed to bring out its full character. The top is from a retired Patternmakers shop and was turned on a large wood lathe many years ago. It was a blank intended to be shaped into a pattern to make a mold to be poured in metal but was never used. The top measures about 18"x18" and the height is 22" The california style tiles in the center which appears to be a stylized orange motif measures about 12x12" The center tiles are in good condition for their age with the usual crazing. The outside mosaic tiles are also in good condition with one corner tile missing. The grouting around the center and mosaic tiles is in good condition and is all there. Not loose or cracking. The metal frame holding the tiles has some rust but is solid and the metal base appears rust free and is in very nice condition. The cement board backing is in good condition. Antique Vintage c1930s Maple 3" Butcher Block Table Chicago Salvage Metal Base
This old butcher block table from the 1930s was salvaged from a Chicago meat packer and is in great vintage condition. The top has been sanded down and coated several times with tung oil to bring back its great sheen. Tung oil is an organic oil that is safe for food. Dings. Gouges and a few splits on the top are a character adding bonus and are consistent with age and use. The metal base is sturdy and stout and I believe the legs adjust in height(I didn’t try, but it looks like they screw up or down in order to level the top. It measures 36" w x 24" w x 34 ¼”h top is 3” thick. There is a stamp on the underside of the top that is not readable, but I included a photo of it anyway. Unsigned but an early Uhl Toledo piece. The last one of these to sell-different top but same frame brought $1500 as you just don't see them. Table top has some problems with some chipping.Delamination and extra holes. Frame is still pretty nice and in the original paint. You move the lever one way so it sets on the legs, move it the other and it lowers the rollers to roll around. Needs some old white paint droppings carefully scraped off it. Sound and solid. Table top is 27" by 20" Height about 26 1/2" Rollers roll and swivel ok. Vintage Wood Round Top / Pedestal Base ROTATING TILT TOP TABLE
This is a Vintage Wood ROUND TOP TABLE. The table top tilts and rotates. The top is about 33 1/4 inches in diameter. Overall height of the table with the top level is about 28 1/2 inches. It has a three leg pedestal base with birdcage on top. The top was refinished at some point in the past. It has wear and scratches and can use a refinishing again. This may be a good time to refresh the whole table. The hinge that releases and retains the top functions properly. I do not know anything about its provenance or history as far as who constructed it. It came from the estate of an older English couple. I am told that they owned it for over 60 years. Then"my boyfriend" was working construction for a contractor on Long Island for the summer during college that year and when the two of them dug this old table out of a basement there in Rockville Centre, he was lucky enough to have the opportunity to buy it from the owner. He later paid to have it professionally cleaned up including having the top refinished and having a custom table pad made to protect the top as well. For the next 35 years we used this table as our formal family dining table, the centerpiece when celebrating holidays and special events with our three children and many friends over the years. Vintage Mid Century Clear Lucite End Table Base 1950's Eames Era Atomic Mad Men
This is a wonderful vintage(1950's) clear lucite end table base. The piece stands 18" tall. Is 19" wide. I am selling this lucite base without the glass top. It takes a round 18" glass, easy to get inexpensively locally and too difficult to ship. There are lucite end pieces to hold the glass securely, see pictures. This lucite base one is very nice, has not yellowed or been abused. There are a few scratches but nothing that takes away from the overall nice look. I took this base apart and cleaned it very well with mild soap and water so it is clean and ready to go. I replaced the screws and bolts with identical new ones for a cleaner sharper look. This is a great little table that will not take up space visually and has a nice Mid Century look. The light will be wrapped very well and insured for safe delivery. Vintage Enamel Top Table - Black Edging on Wooden Base w/Cutlery Drawer- RETRO!!
Vintage Enamel Top Kitchen Table This auction is for a Vintage White Porcelain Top Table with a 4 section cutlery drawer and 4 wood legs. The Table is 39" x 44" with both leaves out) or 24" with 2 10" tucked in leaves. The wooden base measures 29 1/4" from top of wooden base to floor and the the wood box that the leaves set on is 36" x 23" The height of the table with the leaves on is 31" with the leaves spread out. But stacked under the top it is 31 1/2" There are some minor issues with this table. First, there are 2 small chips on one leaf and a dime sized chip in the top on one corner. I have shown these chips in the photos. Another problem with the wooden base is the fact that one leg only measures 27 1/4" a full 2 inches shorter. But looking at the wood base, it looks very straight forward ... moreand not to hard to either replace the one leg or all 4. There are many layers of pain on the wood base. But this little table has really made the rounds and has lots of family history. My mom and dad got this table as a hand me down(hand me down is pre-vintage) as a newly married couple and years later I remember my Grandparents ended up with it on their back porch where as kids we at our lunches. My parents ended up with it out in their shed and using it to use for garden work. Now it's time to come full circle and be used in a new families home as a kitchen table again. I think this would look really sweet with cherry red wood base and some enamel cherries painted on the top to hide those little chips. The table in the photos is the table you will pick up. The table features a unique design on the top with gazelles. Birds, flowers and other interesting shapes. The underside has the makers#X53 stamped on it. We are not sure who the maker is nor the country it was made in. This table and leg set are in overall very good condition. There have been repairs to two of the base legs(see scans) There is mild tarnishing to the brass bads around the bottom of the legs. I think that this table may be a marriage of a few different pieces. It appears that the pedestal is made of a brown colored wood and the base looks to be made of a more red colored mahogany. The pedestal may be walnut. The piece is very well done and displays well. The table top has a diameter of 17 3/4 inches. The table stands 24 inches tall and the base measures 16 inches by 16 inches.
