This 1920s ISIS German industrial cast iron drafting table is all complete and in great condition. It features the original pencil tray. Drafting arm, 5” locking casers, C clamps for holding down an art board with a smooth surface. The counter weights are perfectly balanced for ease of motion when raising, lowering, or tilting the top. The top can be angled horizontally flat, vertically straight, and everything in between. It also features a foot peddle for locking-in the correct height of the table and a hand knob for locking-in the correct angle. Although these tables are typically heavy and difficult to move, the wheels make ease of movement simple and quick. The locking feature on the wheels keeps the table in place for steady drafting, painting or drawing. Having multiple counterweights, the drafting arm and a few counterweights can ... morebe removed without interfering with the perfectly balanced movement of the top, in the event that you do not want to use the arm. The decoupaged picture is lovely and European in design. It features two European ships with a small boat in between carrying passengers from one ship to the other. The colors are very muted and the piece has a Country French or Tuscan look. The table has four folding legs that operate on a sliding or glide hinge. The table is in very good condition and operates perfectly. It is lightweight yet sturdy. The decoupaged picture does show some wear/use and age. late 1920s viner tea coffee set and tray- this is the non bakelite handle set made prior to the 1930s- the name viner indicates it was made post 1925( when viner changed name from viener) Presentation set- each item is endorsed with the makers name and confirmed silver plate- very ornate and in beautifully preserved condition- claw feet and flame handles. The tray is 18 inches long with double fretwork one inch side tall edging finished in patterned overlay- the base is heavily pattern engraved with flowers and plumes. The coffee pot is 11 inches tall- all four pieces have matching handles. Beautiful painted 1920s moroccan"very old" moorish table. Roughly 24" high x 22 wide. Age appropriate patina. Some areas where wood has small abrasion or chip. One section with a very fine splinter, does not affect integrity of table. This is a true antique. The table top comes off the bottom. As is with some interior areas where you can see body was reinforced with glue but this does not show. I have bought this estate fresh, have not cleaned polished or in any way tampered or fixed item. 1920s American Mahogany Double Drop Leaf Table
For sale is a classic. Elegant American mahogany double drop leaf table. It is from the 1920s or teens and the surface is in excellent condition. There is one tiny heat spot you can see in the picture, and that is the only imperfection on the table. There are no significant scratches, no gouges, and the legs are scuff free. The condition is remarkable for a piece with high gloss table top. This heat spot could be fixed easily by a reconditioning expert(I am not) The style in ebay is listed as Chippendale. But its really not. Because there are no feet, curved lines or carvings. that's probably the closest in style I could find on the ebay drop down. Dims: both leaves up: 58.5"L. 38"W, 30"H both leaves down: 17.5"L. 38"W, 30"H I have used it sparingly at dinner parties I have held. Its primary function for ... moreme was as a multi-sized dinner table. Seating 2, 4 or 6 very comfortable- or as an expandable writing table(though you will want to keep a pad under where you write so as not to score the surface) It is configurable in 3 different sizes, with 2 drop leaves. This table has served as a visual anchor to my small dining rooms over the past 5 years. The great thing about it is that you can reduce the size to just 12" or so out from the wall by dropping both leaves. I purchased this table as an investment but really have run out of the ability to use after moving recently. Otherwise I would keep it. As noted above. The pins that stabilize the swinging legs are stable now, but are getting a little loose, so you must be a bit careful when swinging out the legs(as in all 100+ yr old furniture) Buyer must coordinate and pay shipping or pick up in Los Angeles. Can use buyer's recommended shipping but I recommend using TransitSystems as they ship fine furniture specifically.

1920s-30s Repurposed Physician's Exam Table
Very high-end furniture in it's day: 1920s- 1930s' repurposed antique doctor's office exam table and cabinet. My best guess: Art Deco. Can be used as a dining room table base. Desk base, coffee or entertainment center or front entry table(see last picture) A rich reddish brown patina. Mahogany. even the drawers have solid mahogany sides and backs. Very Art Deco design and hardware, ceramic door and drawer pulls. The back is finished in mahogany harlequin veneer. The front features three drawers and two large doors with matching harlequin design. 46" wide. 28-1/2" high and 20" deep. No cracked wood, some finish wear(nick on front door, some interior stains from old spilled liquid) very good condition for its age. It has been oiled and polished lovingly to make it absolutely glow, the wood is that good. There is an ... moreextra panel of matching finished wood. Once part of the interior, that can be cut to fit the top(to cover up the area above the small top instrument drawer that is currently open) 3" Metal black corner feet, attached by screws, complete the design; they can be easily removed to make the piece lower. ANTIQUE ITALIAN TILE TABLE MOUNTED ON CUSTOM IRON BASE CIRCA 1920s
Offered is a sensational dining table made of antique Italian clay tiles resting in a custom made bronze finished iron base. The tiles are circa 1920 and the base was created in the 1950s. The table measures 79" in length by 39.5" in width and stands 29" tall. The base. As we've tried to picture, has a center bar linking the four legs. The table comes apart, with the tile top in one large piece and the iron base in the other, and it is substantial, well over 200 pounds. The predominant color is green, with variations in the hand made tiles and the pattern, as pictured, is of an outer border and a pair of central sun faces. None of the tiles are cracked or chipped, but, the fact that they are antique and hand wrought and not contemporary is evident. The piece is nothing short of magnificent and when it is set with green, ... moreyellow, cream or pink china is out of this world. As we've pictured, we have a pair of vintage Italian iron chairs flanking the table which we will entertain offers on if the buyer would like them as they compliment the table perfectly. 1920s Spanish Revival Library Table Carved Top Turned legs Amazing Workmanship
This auction features what I believe to be a Spanish Revival library table. With what appears to be an Art Nouveau style carving on its top, and a beveled or grooved edge to the top all way around. The legs are cylindrical and turned, with ornate side panels connecting front and back that cap off the sides of the angled book rack shelving beneath the top. The table is rectangular and approximately 24-1/8" high by 24" wide and 12" deep. It has the original finish with fair patina for its age and mild wear and discoloration that is to be expected in an original piece of this nature. There is writing on the underside that I have not attempted to clean for fear of ruining the finish, so I will leave that to the professionals. The Italian portor marble top is known for its dark black color and its scattered yellow grooves. Also this magnificent slab of RARE marble is original to the piece. This is truly a one of a kind piece as it is the only console table that I have seen that doesn't have faux wood painted columns. Antique 1920s Kiel Furniture Occasional Gate Leg Table Side End Crotch Table
Offered from my mother's estate is an Antique 1920s Kiel Furniture Gate Leg Style Occasional. Side, End, Crotch, or Lamp Table. This has the gate leg style but the table was made so that the legs are fixed. It is a dark walnut with red gum wood spindle and carved legs. The top looks like a walnut veneer quarter sawn. It has a spot on the top where the veneer sheet is separating. The top finish is a little dull compared to the legs and trim. There are a few nicks in the legs that aren't deep. Normal wear and tear. It is 29" high, 37" wide and 21" deep. It could date to before the 1920s. The stamp is burned into the bottom of the table. There are some written numbers on the underside as well. This is a table that is 100% metal. Steel) It was fabricated from a vintage headboard circa later 1920s to early 1930s. I have welded on metal hairpin legs for a more modern mid-century look. This is a one-of-a-kind piece. No assembly required. The headboard(now table) is a faux grained metal bed made by one if two manufacturers. Foster Bros Mfg Co of Utica. This is an authentic mint condition 1920's Rococo Revival style table. The table is carved wood with the Statue of Liberty in the center and the American Flag in the background.
