Condition: Used Location: Charleston, United States This listing is for a Antique Quarter-sawn Tiger Oak Victorian Glass Ball Claw Footed 2-Tier Parlor Table. This piece stands 30 inches tall~ approx 2 ... more1/2 feet. 22 3/4 inches across the top/ square. The bottom shelf. At the narrowest point, measures 15 inches across square. The glass balls in the feet measure 3 inches across and the legs. At the widest point, about half way up, measures 3 1/4 inches across. This table is not marked. Signed, dated, stamped or otherwise labeled. There is a small dark stain to the table top that measures approx 4inches by 2 inches. A darker spot next to that as well but not sure what that spot is. Both can be seen in the last picture. There are no major chips. Cracks or other issues to any part of the wood. It is possible this is a Louis F Nonnast table made between 1878-1888. I do not know much about this size. Style or age. If you have any information that may be helpful to identifying this piece. I would very much appreciate dropping me a line or two. Local Pick Up is best for this large. Beautiful and well taken care of item. It worries me to ship it as I have seen very few table such as this. However. The way this is constructed, it appears it can be taken apart ~ legs removed and lower shelf removed, for possible shipping. Because of its size and weight. It may need to be shipped Freight~ atleast the top of the table, which I do not have an account or shipping association to do. I can check with UPS and see what would need to be done. I really want to keep it but I just don't have a spot for it and this table deserves to be put in a loving space. I purchased it today actually. I bought it from a sweet older couple from New York who now live in Palm Harbor, FL. The husband explained that it was his Grandmother's first then his mother had it. He said his Grandmother got it around the time she was married and he couldn't remember if it was 1897 or 1898. The condition is superior. It has been well cared for for 115 years by the same family. The oak grain is beautiful and the only flaws are: on the bottom of one of the round feet. Someone cut off a section of the very bottom so that it would fit closely next to something.however, it still is level because they cut off only a section, not the entire tip(please see the last pic) The other flaw is that there is a hair line split on the top where the wood has a miniscule separation. I had to inspect closely to find this. This table requires no restoration whatsoever. Has beautiful detail in the grain. Measurements are as follows: Oval Top is 32.75" long x 18" wide 27" tall from floor to top middle decorative shelf is 7.25" wide x 16" long with scrolling lower 2 round shelves are 10.5" in diameter. Of course it would save you money to pick up this table locally if you can because I will need to ship UPS and the box will be huge. Thank you so much for shopping with me. It is a ... morebeautiful example of tiger sawn oak as display on the top and the base. This table is 8 feet long, 4 feet deep and approximately 31 inches high. It has two curved drawers on each side of the table. The drawers are 22.5 inches wide, 20 inches deep and approximately 3inches high. We took the top into the restoration shop to scuff it down and re-spray it to bring out the gorgeous grains used. There are still some minor nicks and dings that can barely be seen through the finish. The table has five pyramid shape pillars with a large shoe foot platform base that gives a lot of style and stability. It has a molded edge on the oval shape skirt.

This is an antique Stickley era Mission style Arts& Crafts quarter sawn solid oak coffee table dating to the early 1900's. It appears to have originally been a library table that was cut down to be a coffee table. It measures 42-3/4" wide. 25-1/2" deep and stands 18" tall. It has bronze pulls on the drawer and the drawer is dovetailed. There are scratches and wear consistent with age and gentle use, and some minor blemishes. Appears to be quarter sawn oak with tiger oak grain top. Good condition overall, but needs glue/repair where lower shelf attachs to leg(see photo) Also has one light spot on top. Awesome looking quarter sawn oak library table with carvings and turned legs
This listing is for the awesome looking antique quarter sawn oak(tiger oak) library table pictured. It is a beautiful piece of furniture with nice ornate carvings on all four sides and ornate carved pieces attached to the stretcher base. The legs are nicely turned. Dimensions are 45 1/2" wide by 27" deep by 29" high. The finish is medium dark and is in very nice condition. I believe it was refinished many years ago(we have had it for about 15 years and haven't done anything to the finish. I have included a two pictures showing repairs on the two carved pieces that attach the stretcher base to the rear legs on each side. They are old repairs and they are each very strong. I will put a dab of Old English furniture restorer on each repair to help conceal the repairs but I did want to picture them before doing so to make you ... moreaware of those conditions. Quarter Sawn Oak 45 Inch Round Oak pedestal table. Michigan
Hi for sale I have an antique round table. Pedestal style. It was made out of quartet sawn oak. It had a 45" diameter top and measures 30 tall. The center pedestal has four legs all on casters. Crack on one side of the pedestal, this does not take always from my the sturdy structure of the table. I have lightly sanded the piece, applied a dark stain and have it a coat of wax. The table looks much better on person. The camera flash made it look bad. Local pick up Rochester Michigan 48307. I am 20 miles nw of Detroit.

Vintage Quarter Sawn White Oak Library Table
This Antique Library Table is in good condition. As you could expect from a piece this old there are some very minor wear marks and minor nics. The table does look like the picture but if your looking for perfection this table is not for you. The top was refinished at one time. There are some wear marks under the finish. One very distinctive mark. It has one drawer at the center. The table measures Approximately 48" long x 28" wide x 29" high. Its exact origin is unknown. The wood type is quarter sawn heavy flecked White Oak. We believe it was made around the early turn of the century. It will be disassembled for flat box shipping. We are pleased to offer this EXCEPTIONAL antique table. This is a stunning table with intricate carved details. The table is a fine example of Moorish Fretwork and. According to a published expert in this field, was probably made by Moses Younglove Ransom in Cleveland or Frederick Rode in New York City. The table is oak with a quarter sawn. Plank top and carved, twist trim. The table has turned legs with an interesting, repeated pattern. The feet are rounded and nondescript. The table features a very beautiful, rare, double stretcher. The stretchers have turned wood, stick and ball style, supports that lead to a square accent of barley twist(spiral) spindles that are woven together. This is an intricate design and is superbly achieved. The table is old and dates to the around 1885. There are no manufacturer's marks or stamps. The table ... moreis in very good condition with only minor signs of age or use. There is a circular water ring on the table top that is not too distracting. One of planks of the table top has separated from shrinkage/age and there is a space. It does not affect the table in any manner. The table is sturdy with a normal amount of slight movement. This is a fabulous table of unique design. On April 19. A wonderful ebay member contributed the following: I've only seen a couple of these tables before. I own two of them both stained dark and probably mahogany. One is identical to this design and the other only has one of the woven shelves but the legs. are also barley twist. I am mostly convinced that these were made by Moses Younglove Ransom in Cleveland. Ohio. The main reason for this attribution is the tapered spindles used in the woven shelves. I have seen these identical spindles used in stairway balustrades that I believe were made by the C.S.Ransom Company. I found several of these tables in Cleveland antique stores that also had good collections of Ransom's Moorish Fretwork screens, where I bought one of mine. Antique Quarter Sawn Tiger Oak Parlor or Side Table - Very Nice Condition
Here is a beautiful oak piece that has not been sanded or refinished as best as I can tell. All I did was use high quality furniture paste wax to bring back the luster of the original finished wood. The table is pretty stable and able to support a large lamp or other object. As shown in the photo's the peg and groove locking sockets have some damage to the wood. But each leg is securely held in place. There are no signs of glue or other"repair" to the table. Each of the screws is in place, but I did not tighten them or attempt to make any adjustments. Estimated to be from the early 1900's.

This table has beautiful quarter sawn tiger oak wood. It measures 36" X 24" and stands 29.5" tall. There is a manufacturer stamp in the drawer by its maker. The Brandt Cabinet Works, Hagerstown, Maryland. The pedestal supports are smooth lined. It is a family heirloom, belonging to my grandparents. They had many oak pieces, but I believe this was probably one of the finer. My mother& I are in the process of combining two homes and just can't keep everything. Antique Mission Arts & Crafts Quarter Sawn Oak Plant or Fern Stand
Item: Up for auction is this nicely restored Quartersawn Oak Mission Arts& Crafts Plant or Fern Stand. The Stand is 35.75 inches tall; the top is 12 inches x 12 inches; the base is 12.5 inches x 12.5 inches. The stand is constructed out of highly figured quartersawn oak. And has a dramatic pattern throughout. The stand is finished in a medium oak tone with a satin finish. There are no maker's marks to identify the manufacturer. There are no signs of damage or previous repairs. There was a slight wobble to the stand that was remedied with a small felt pad(last photo) Rusted or worn screws were replace with coated Phillips head screw(see photo) Also, there is some separation in the corners of the egg and dart trim along the base which is attributed to age. The terms"restored" or"refinished" is not intended to convey ... moreperfection. While the refinishing process removes or reduces visible signs of wear, the items may retain subtle signs of its age and use. Overall, this Stand is in excellent condition and should provide many years of use and beauty. Pricing: I do not use reserve pricing. I will establish what I think is a fair starting price for each item. That way potential buyers can make a choice to pursue the item or not. And won't be placed in a position of having to guess the"magical" reserve number in my head. Packing: I pack all items myself. I take care to assure the item arrives safely. This was listed a week ago for $150.00 but it didn't sell so now I am drastically reducing it in an effort to really move it. So now is the time to bid if you are interested. Offered here for your consideration is this wonderful old Arts& Crafts plant stand made with beautiful and striking quarter sawn oak. It measures approximately 3 feet tall and is about 14 inches by 14 inches& the top surface is also 14 by 14 inches. I was actually surprised that the top is the same size at the base as to me it looks just slightly smaller. It is in good condition with minimal issues. There are a couple of very small nick to the wood on the top, which are not really noticeable unless you look closely, there is a couple of darkish spots that may or may not be stains on the top but it might just be the figuring of the wood I took a photo of the ... moretop close-up so you may examine it, there are some pin-dot size flecks of paint on the bottom but I may be able to get those off before I mail it.
