Have you ever seen a Arts& Crafts Oak base with slag glass in this design? ... morethere are plenty of the all oak bases with out slag glass& also the metal arts& crafts Lamps this design have the slag glass base. So if your after the special one, this is for you. everything on this lamp base is Org. except I replaced the wiring& cord. Look at the great metal work on the shade supports& the Original multiple color swirl Slag glass surround by the Org. finish Oak base. This lamp base proudly stands 15" tall& a wing span of 11" for your shade.the arched feet of the base spread across 7 1/2" side to side. This base has not been messed with or taken apart. So I would say It has the Org glass. One side has the similar one on the opposite side it almost looks light colored(faded)but the wood is not faded& is still dark. So that's why I put a picture of the inside. For viewing all 4 pieces.the only way to change the glass is to completely take apart the base,which if you look at all the bottom corners it shows that it hasn't been taken apart. 2 out of the 4 metal shade holders have a little piece of wood they mount on& are loose. Came loose from age& just need a little glue to secure them.There are pictures of all 4 side& 1 picture of the little loose piece the has the shade screwed to it added to the very end of the picture slideshow. The legs with braces have been repositioned using the original screws, I imagine over the years the table became wobbley and the original screw holes stripped, therefore repositioned for renewed stability. Item: Up for auction is this fully restored Mission. Arts& Crafts Table or Plant Stand. The table measures 10.75 x10.75 and is 18.75 inches tall. The table is very structurally sound. It is constructed of solid quarter sawn oak in the characteristic Mission design. The terms restored and refinished are not meant to convey perfection. While the restoration process removes or minimizes imperfections. Subtle signs of its age and use remain. Overall, this table is in excellent condition and should provide many years of use and beauty. Pricing: I do not use reserve pricing. I will establish what I think is a fair starting price for each item. That way potential buyers can make a choice to pursue the item or not. And won't be placed in a position of having to guess the"magical" reserve number in my head. Packing: I pack all items ... moremyself. I take care to assure the item arrives safely. This is an antique Stickley era Mission style Arts& Crafts quarter sawn solid oak coffee table dating to the early 1900's. It appears to have originally been a library table that was cut down to be a coffee table. It measures 42-3/4" wide. 25-1/2" deep and stands 18" tall. It has bronze pulls on the drawer and the drawer is dovetailed. There are scratches and wear consistent with age and gentle use, and some minor blemishes. There are oak buttons that cover connection points and 10 are missing. I have not had a chance to replace them, but do have a bag of new oak buttons that will be included with the table. WONDERFUL ANTIQUE CARVED GILT WOOD ACCENT TABLE ARTS CRAFTS MISSION STYLE
This listing is for a very nice. Unique, antique carved gilt wood accent table. This lovely table is reflective of the Arts Crafts Mission styling with some Spanish influences. This is an old table, not machine manufactured. It is very nicely done, and very beautifully carved with a modified, fleur de lis pattern which is repeated. The legs are substantial and feature nicely curved lines. The top is 8 sided with a center that is slightly raised but also 8 sided. No marks or signatures. Very sturdy and no wobbles. This is a mission or arts and crafts period table. I'm not sure of the exact date. But likely very early 1900s. I believe it to be an American made piece. Appears to be quarter sawn oak with tiger oak grain top. Good condition overall, but needs glue/repair where lower shelf attachs to leg(see photo) Also has one light spot on top. This is a nice tall table that would work in many locations. One center drawer. Primitive Antique Mission Style wood plant stand/small table. Another genuine early furniture piece that belonged to my Grandfather. Possibly from the 1920's( Table stands 13-1/2" tall x 11-1/2" wide across the top. Made of dark stained. 3/4" thick wood, not sure what type. Maybe maple. F our supporting legs are nicely rounded and tapered at the top. Wonderful primitive and rustic look with wear to many of the edges and residual white paint along one leg with some small splatters elsewhere. This auction is for a fabulous all original Roycroft Journey table/book stand. It is made of quarter sawn oak and has its original finish. The finish is much darker than it appears in some of the photographs. Three of the photos show the true darker color. It is signed on the bottom leg with its original brass Roycroft plate. This table is in excellent condition. I could really find no flaws to mention. There are no cracks or repairs to this piece. A little more interesting than many I have seen. It is labelled F.S. Harmon& Co. FS Harmon is a Tacoma based company that made furniture in the early 1900s. It is labelled on the bottom(pic#4) This library table dates to the 1910s to 1920s. An interesting thing on this desk. Is that the drawer has a hidden spring activated lock below the drawer which is original. You pull the spring knob down(pic#3) and you can open and close the drawer. If you don't pull the spring knob, it doesn't open. Condition is fair to good for age. Finish is old and possibly original. I noticed an area on the top wear the finish is quite worn. I noticed a few rings on the top of the table. Could use ... morea coat of wax but looks nice as is. There are some scuffs and dings on the edges from age and use. Normal scuffs, dings, and scratches from age and use. No breaks or repairs. Overall a very nice example of antique Washington State produced furniture. Offered is a wonderful Spanish Revival Mission tile top table from the early 20th century. Tiles are in great condition with original grouting; no chips. Cracks or damage other than a bit of surface wear. Tiles are black. Orange and cream. The edges of the black sort of bleed a dark green, though not as much as it appears in photos. Was unable to identify the tile company. But it's in the style of Taylor I believe the wood border around the tiles is mahogany. Legs are sturdy. Table has been well cared for all these years. It looks as though wood dowels have been added to the underside from the aprons to each leg for stability. Wood finish is in good. Original condition. The weight given is a close guesstimate. For your consideration we are offering this antique Mission tiger oak coffee table circa early 1900s. Overall this piece measures in at an approximate 18"H x 42"D. This piece is solid oak not veneered. Condition is as shown/ follows: I'm selling the table in need of full refinish/ restoration. The finish is badly worn as shown and should be redone. The structure of the table quite good: There is some very tight smooth board separation to the top and random bruises, scratches, bangs, chips etc.The mortise through detail is cosmetic not structural, one of the through tenons is chipped up. None of the issues would present much of a problem to a furniture refinisher. The legs are semi spade shaped at the bottom and do have inset ball casters. The upper legs are held on by wing nuts and do remove for shipping as does the cross stretcher. ... moreI bought this table from an estate a few years ago with the intention of redoing it myself but never got to it. Viewing the table-top from underneath, it appears that the original solid oak top is still existing beneath the Formica sheath. The double-pedestal base features 4 sided. Graduated columnar legs attached to an H-stretcher. The oak composing the legs and the stretcher appears to be quarter-sawn. Original Antique Charles Limbert Arts & Crafts Mission Library Table Desk 1910
Fabulous Charles Limbert Quartersawn Oak Library Table. I believe the finish is original as well as the hardware(obviously screws& washers have been replaced) This is not a claim I make lightly. Please see pics! Burned Limbert Arts& Crafts stamp on inside of drawer on the left. Measures 42” wide x 30” deep x 29 1/2” height. Condition: Pretty amazing. No cracks anywhere. It's a very solid. Sturdy, handsome construction. Flaws: On the top of the desk there is a spot on the right that is darker(see pic#9) where it looks like someone probably sat an ink bottle then tried to remove a bit of ink. It looks like it's been there for a very long time. It's not an eyesore but needs to be pointed out. There is also a very small gouge or nick on the right side(see pic#12) On the left leg there is a strange"mystery" spot(flat) ... morewith a tiny spot of paint next to it(see pic#10) Lastly. On the back edge of the top you see a little paint where someone put it up against a wall when there was wet paint(see pic#11) The inside drawer does have ink stains. If you'd like a pic I can certainly send it. Pic#6 is a close-up of the finish on the drawer(outside) to help uphold my claims of it being the original finish. I'm really just trying to point out anything I see as a flaw no matter how small. I've made no attempt to oil it or clean it with any chemicals. EARLY MISSION TIGER OAK CART ON WHEELS WITH REMOVABLE TRAYS. THIS WAS FROM AN ESTATE SALE OF A FAMILY OF A PHYSICAN THAT BUILT HIS HOME AND MOVED INTO IT IN 1906 IN CENTRAL TEXAS. FURNISHINGS WHERE PURCHASED IN THE EAST AND SHIPPED TO THE HOME IN 1906. THE FURNISHINGS REMAINED IN THE HOME AFTER HE DIED AND HIS SON SUBSEQUENTLY MOVED INTO THE HOME. THIS CART WAS IN THE LIBRARY THAT WAS FURNISHED IN MISSION STYLE AND INCLUDED A STICKLEY LIBRARY TABLE WHICH I WILL BE LISTING. RARE ARTS& CRAFTS MISSION OAK GAMES TABLE WITH STORAGE COMPARTMENT CONTAINING STOOL-FINELY ACCENTED COPPER HINGES With our compliments we are delighted to offer you this fascinating Arts& Crafts Mission Oak Game Table with storage compartment housing stool. We want to start this listing by saying we have handled a lot of arts& crafts& mission oak pieces in our collective careers but none of us have ever seen a piece like this before. There are no labels or brands on it. We find this odd for such a high quality and ingenious piece. Be that as it may. This wonderful game table is adorned by super copper hinges& escutcheon with hand made iron rivets. It has a front compartment with an intact lock(it came to us without the key) that houses a cute little copper topped splayed stool fastened with a dozen iron hand hammered rivets ... morematching the ones on the hinges and escutcheon. The entire game table and stool are made from solid quartersawn(tiger) oak in a super original finish. The stool has flared ends and on the other side two storage compartments. One has three small shelves with doweled backs to hold decks of cards, chess or checkers pieces. The other compartment has 9" wide and 15" tall recessed cavity with retaining bar designed to hold a game board. This exceptionally fine game table has a swivel top with a concealed storage compartment and each of its four sides have three decorative grooves in them. The green felt on the inside of the game table is a bit worn but it will last a while longer. The base has original brass caster pivoting wheels in a protruding ball like oak housing. Please excuse the table leaning a bit in our pictures. That was our placing it on an unlevel piece of our parking lots pavement and no doubt did not level it in the camera's view finding devices. Vintage Mission Oak Side Table Pink Marble Top
This Mission rte& Crafts era table is 12" across and 17" high. It is in classic Mission style and it from the period- 1910-1920. It came from an estate in Warwick NY that was mainly furnished with Mission pieces both signed and unsigned. This is unsigned. It may have been refinished or re-stained at some point in its history as the stain looks dark to me and I can see it on the underside. Which I have shown. This is the condition and appearance I found it in. If this bothers you please don't bid on this piece. Very nice detail on the legs. The table has its original pink marble top with some wear around the edges. As you can see. When the marble is in place you do not notice the roughness on some edges, shown, but please be aware that this is consistent with age and wear of piece. Antique 36" tall Mission Oak Pedestal Plant Stand Vintage Arts & Crafts table
Original early 1900's Arts& Crafts Period oak pedestal stand. Measures 36-1/4" tall with a 12" square top and a base that is 14-1/4" each way. There is a remnant of its original paper label still in place on the underside but not enough to identify the manufacturer. This is a very solid and sturdy solid oak stand.
