It is a neoclassical design style, with leather top, and gilt gold accent trim. It has stright tapering legs that end in spade feet, and wire mesh on the front panels of the two door storage area. It has bail pull handles on the sides and a delicate inlay design that give it an illusion of drawers on the sides. It has some light drying of the leather top, but can be oiled to preserve its delicate unique style. It is 26" tall at te top level, 19.75 wide, 30" long, and 15" tall at the lower level. These are well made pieces with solid wood construction and glass tops. The tops have bowed fronts and bowed backs. They are in excellent condition for their age with only minor wear to the finish and small surface scratches. The largest table measures 21 3/4 inches tall with the top measuring 21 3/4 inches wide and 16 inches deep. The medium sized table stands 20 1/2 inches tall and has top that is 18 1/2 inches wide and 14 inches deep. The smallest table stands 19 1/4 inches tall and the top is 15 inches wide and 12 inches deep. This is a beautiful set that will display well in any home. We are pleased to offer this exceptional pair of antique nightstands or side tables. This pair dates to around 1940. They are made of mahogany and have been painted white and distressed. The pair are elegant and sleek with a low profile. They feature a two tier design with open backs. They are French styled. Art Deco era, and have elongated lower sections with curved fronts. There have decorative square, raised wood pieces on the skirt of the lower tier. These have been left in the original finish to contrast with the paint. The legs are lovely in Duncan Phyfe style. The center leg column has also been left in the original finish. The table has ornate brass touches as well. There are lion face"door knocker" style pulls on each side between the two tiers. This pair of Regency style end tables are constructed of mahogany with rosewood banding on the drawer front and the the outer edges of each table. The top table has extension leaves and features beautiful satinwood floral inlay on the top and on the extension sides. All tables have gorgeous crotch mahogany wood grain. The front. Louis XV style with ornate carvings and an intricate, inlaid top. The tables are Mahogany with Rosewood, Birch and Satinwood. The table tops have a center, inlaid geometrical design with four, very large inlaid flowers as accents. The design is quite striking. Pair Antique Mahogany Pedestal Column Plant Stands Tables 60"
Stunning pair of old world carved wooden pedestal columns. Perfect for plants or works of art. The base appears to be mahogany. The column walnut. I can't be sure. They are beautifully carved. Each column is 60" in height. Each round base is 15" in diameter with three round wooden feet measuring 3 1/8" The column narrows from 8" diameter near the base. To 4" at the neck. The coupe shape top surface is 8 1/2" wide. Blemishes are pictured and include a 9 inch unrepaired crack at the base of one of the columns. This same column also has a 2" finish blemish as pictured. They don't look new or perfect. As little dings over the ages have given them unequaled character. Each column weighs approximately 30 lbs. RARE ANTIQUE MIDDLE EAST MAHOGANY ROSEWOOD CARVED NESTING TABLES (4) BRASS INLAY
We are pleased to offer this beautiful set of 4 nesting tables. The tables date to the early half of the 20th century and are of Middle Eastern origin. The tables are solid rosewood or mahogany with a medium to dark stained finish. There is no veneer. The tables feature superbly carved table top perimeters. Inside the carved sections are lavish and intricate medallions which are created using inlaid brass. The tables are old and constructed using flat screws. Because of their handmade design. You will notice that the brass borders are not completely straight in all areas. These were not machine made. They fit together nicely as a group or can be used individually. The smallest table has a single drawer with the inlaid brass present on the drawer face. The tables are heavy and well made. They are in very good antique condition. Two of the ... moretables have a loose section of brass that can be tacked into place. There are no missing brass sections. There are a few, minor, surface nicks that are not severe or distracting. They do add to the aged character of the tables but can be resolved if you so desire. This is an elaborate set of extremely nice construction and beauty. The tables measure as follows in descending order: Table#1 is 20" tall. 19.75" wide and 11.5" deep. Table#2 is 19.5" tall, 17.75" wide and 11" deep. Table#3 is 18.5" tall, 16" wide and 11" deep.
