Antique Machine Age Industrial Cast Iron Drafting Coffee Table Base Steampunk
Here we have a great antique cast iron base with hand cranks on each side that turn a gear. The gear comes out a little bit above to top of the table base I imagine it would make for a cool adjustable drafting style coffee table. As you can see from the photos these legs are a bit top heavy. I put a small piece of cardboard to hold the two legs together and they stood up fine no problem so I don't think there would be any issue once a top is crafted for them. The bottom of the legs can also be mounted so this could either be mounted to the floor or even on top of a taller table to craft or even the wall. These legs stand about 18 inches tall not counting the gears and cranks.

The original layers of paint are still there with a different shade showing thru in various spot from many years of use. The cast iron has been cleaned and lightly waxed to bring out its full character. The top is from a retired Patternmakers shop and was turned on a large wood lathe many years ago. It was a blank intended to be shaped into a pattern to make a mold to be poured in metal but was never used. It is built up from many layers of dense plywood with a top layer of fir in a pie wedge design for stability. Holes have been plugged. Very sturdy and quite solid! You can actually spin the wheel with one finger! Great item for repurposing! The base is heavy so it supports the top when raised to the highest position with ease. No danger of tipping over. After doing some research online. I identified this as a Karlo stand by some others online and the fact that it is identical to others for sale and sold and this one has some remnants of the Karlo tag in the place that it should and the colors are visible. The wheels roll with ease. The wheel and the knob that tightens to hold the height adjustment in place all work perfectly and with no hard turning. For sale is this great Antique Dietzgen Cast Iron Double Pedestal Drafting Table Base. These don't come around to often. There are two small cracks in the bracket that would hold the top on. But this piece is still very stable. The table tilts and raises by turning the large wheel. The height at the top of the bracket without the top goes from 32" to 46" The leg span is 51 1/4" wide and 24 1/2" deep. I don't know exactly what this table is for or how it was used. The top is 16 X 26 Inches of an unknown to me type of wood. It is lumber core with veneer on the top. The pedestal is telescoping and can be lowered to a minimum height of 28 inches or raised to a maximum height of 42 inches. As can be seen in picture number three the top can be rotated to 90 degrees from the original position. It can also be tilted in either direction. There is a rod that can be flipped from one side to the other. I don't know what the rod is used for. But it can be placed in the other hole and it changes where it lies on the top. This table weighs 30 pounds and will require a large box at least 32 inches tall and 18 by 28 inches. Because of the size it will have to be shipped via UPS. Vintage Cast Iron Pedestal Tripod Tilt Top Base Industrial - Excellent Condition
Up for sale is a beautiful vintage cast iron tripod tilting pedestal table base. The cast iron base was in remarkably good condition considering it's age and as best I can tell still has the original finish. Usually these are totally rusted out and the paint missing. A good wash revealed a nice green patina. There is no maker mark or manufacturer name on it. But it has to be old as they haven't made anything like this in years with a cast iron base. When fully extended it is about 40" or so inches tall. The 3 tripod legs are also about 2 feet apart all the way around to give you an idea of size. I am including the 2 metal table top edges that you can put on a future top should you choose. That was the style when this was made. And it is a very nice look. For shipping it will come disassembled as shown in one of the pictures on ... morethe white table. This is most practical as it makes it easier to ship for me. And cheaper for the buyer. It is simple to put back together so that shouldn't be an issue for anyone.

This auction is for an Antique 1920's Tile Top Table with Free Masons or Masonic Symbol in center. It is surrounded by black tiles. It is on a black Wrought Iron base. In my limited research on the Internet I found the tile at a website that identified the tile as 1910-1920 and being from Wheeling Tile Co. The Wheeling. W. Va. Tile Co. existed form 1910-1963. The Compass, Square, and the Letter"G" are done in relief or with raised lines in an Arts& Crafts design. It has a blue background with orange square& compass and a white letter"G" all outlined in black. Masonic tile measures 4.5" in diameter. Table measures 22" high by 14" across top. There are some circular scratches in black tiles around the Masonic tile where it appears there may have been a planter someone may have been turning around ... morewhich left light scratches. There may be some reflection in pictures on the black tiles. Possibly the scratches may polish out of the black tiles. There are no scratches in Masonic tile and it is in excellent condition. Antique Cast Iron Mermaid Art Deco with Trident, Part of Fish Bowl Base
This was originally one of three mermaids that connected to other pieces of cast iron to form the base for a table or fish bowl stand. Please see the last picture for an idea of what this looked like when it was all connected. Please note that the last picture is not a picture of the actual item for sale. It is a different, complete base. This mermaid is 25.25" long. And 5" at its widest(the elbows) This was cleaned of rust and paint, however at the elbows and other tighter portions I wasn't able to get it all. It was completely sealed with polyurethane so no more rust! If you were to mount this. The top boards are discolored and warping from age. The cast iron vise which has a chip on the back side still works fine and has been remounted some time ago. Beautiful wrought iron treadle sewing machine base with a vintage wood table top that was handmade. Wrought Iron is in great shape. Wood table sports the"mod lavender" paint of the 70"s and the wood is also in great shape. The table is 24"X24" and it is 28" high. The Treadle has been removed from the base and is not available.
