It can be used as a desk while flat& tilts up to almost 90* degrees to be used as an Easel or Drafting Table- The top measures 96" 8'0" wide x 48" 4'0" deep x 1" thick- The Wooden Top is made of Southern Yellow Pine- riddled with thousands of Compass& Divider holes that have been stained black from Graphite over the past ... more70+ years of Use& Abuse. These cast iron adjustable table legs date late 1800s. They are embossed CHANDLER THE BOSTON. E2; DESIGN PAT.JUNE29.97.PAT. JUNE 9.1896.NOV.14'98. The legs measure each 12" across the bottom. 8 X 3 1/2" at the top; from 16 1/4" tall in the lowest to 23" in the highest position. Condition of these legs is very good. No breaks.

Antique Machine Age Industrial Cast Iron Drafting Coffee Table Base Steampunk
Here we have a great antique cast iron base with hand cranks on each side that turn a gear. The gear comes out a little bit above to top of the table base I imagine it would make for a cool adjustable drafting style coffee table. As you can see from the photos these legs are a bit top heavy. I put a small piece of cardboard to hold the two legs together and they stood up fine no problem so I don't think there would be any issue once a top is crafted for them. The bottom of the legs can also be mounted so this could either be mounted to the floor or even on top of a taller table to craft or even the wall. These legs stand about 18 inches tall not counting the gears and cranks.

SOTTOF SALES Amazing table with cast iron base that is 31 3/4" High x 48" Diameter x 3 3/4" Thick. 28" from underside of table to floor. The base is a cast iron pedestal from a metal working lathe from 1942. The door on the front opens. The original layers of paint are still there with a different shade showing thru in various spot from many years of use. The cast iron has been cleaned and lightly waxed to bring out its full character. The top is from a retired Patternmakers shop and was turned on a large wood lathe many years ago. It was a blank intended to be shaped into a pattern to make a mold to be poured in metal but was never used. It is built up from many layers of dense plywood with a top layer of fir in a pie wedge design for stability. Holes have been plugged. The distressed wood has lot of character which is all original. The wood was lightly sanded. Stained with Minwax"Cherry" then sealed with two coats of spar urethane. Cool. Old store display table. This is a tri-legged rolling and height adjustable table appears to date from the early 1900's. Adjusts from 2 feet 3 inches at its lowest to 3 feet 5 1/4 inches at its highest. The table top(19 3/4" long x 12 5/8" wide) is all wood with the frame in a black crackled enamel and a bare pine inset that has been sealed in wax. Metal casters and bearings with smooth operation. Really neat in function and operation with a locking knob keep the tabletop secure. Heavy! May want to debris(mostly just needed at the legs) and seal in a gloss.would be a neat look! Nice!

Here we have a table I made that is one of a kind. The base is textured bent brass and is three legged with cast iron claws for each foot. The leg brace shown in photo 7 is cast iron and as you can see also very decorative. The table top is an old saw blade that is firmly held on place but can and will be taken off for shipping. The table adjusts up and down and the table tilts like a drafting board. Both adjustments work well and hold tightly. Unit looks not to have been repainted. This piece contains no new parts whatsoever and was constructed using repurposed butcher block and an antique cast iron base salvaged from an old piece of(printing) machinery. It was made with Toledo stools in mind though any stool with a decent height would work. Seats 8+ adults comfortably. The 2" thick butcher block table top was cleaned. This is a very fine example of an industrial era Hamilton Drafting table from the early 1900's. Manufactured in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. The unit is complete and undamaged, with no broken or missing cast iron pieces. The pine top measures approximately 5 feet across, 39 inches at the widest point and 1 inch thick. Antique Mechanical Age Vintage Industrial Cast Iron Drafting Table. I bought this drafting table from a individual who inheriated it from his grandfather who intern recieved it from a dayton Ohio firm when he retired in the early 60's so the story goes. The drafting table does not show any lableing regarding the manufacture but it is clearly an antique. The diminsions: Table Top 60" Long x 36" Wide x 1" Thick. When cranked all the way down with the table top flat it sit approximately 35" above the floor. When cranked all the way up with the table top flat it sit approximately 47" above the floor. To raise and lower the drafting you release the pressure by turning a spicket type handle see picture number 9. Then you turn the wheel see picture 9 and then 11 for close up. Once you have the drafting table at the desired ... moreheight you turn the spicket clockwise to apply pressure to the mechanism to secure the desired height. The drafting table angles approximately 80 degrees in both directions. Again you use a spicket type handel see picture 10 turning counterclockwise which releases the pressure on the drafting table top mechinism then you push or lift the drafting table top to the angle you want and then you turn the spicket handle clockwise to to apply pressure to secure the angle of the drafting table top. This is for a Antique Primitive Estate Sale Industrial Factory Railroad Cart. This is wood and cast iron. The 4 wheels-two small at each end and two larger at the sides. The wheels. Corners and trim are all heavy duty cast iron with the bed made of wood. The cast iron is marked MICH MFG& L CO. There is faint writing on the side. It is about 25 inches wide, about 50 inches long and about 16 inches high. The stake to push and steer it with comes right out to make a flat table. This is in unrestored condition just as I got it at the estate sale. There are aesthetic signs of age but this gives it a great look. This would be great repurposed into a coffee table, garden cart, porch/patio furniture, or in a man cave setting. Antique Typewriter Table Rolling Stand Karlo Steampunk Industrial Base This antique typewriter stand is in perfect working order! Goes up and down very easily by turning the wheel and is heavy. Very sturdy and quite solid! You can actually spin the wheel with one finger! Great item for repurposing! The base is heavy so it supports the top when raised to the highest position with ease. No danger of tipping over. After doing some research online. I identified this as a Karlo stand by some others online and the fact that it is identical to others for sale and sold and this one has some remnants of the Karlo tag in the place that it should and the colors are visible. The wheels roll with ease. The wheel and the knob that tightens to hold the height adjustment in place all work perfectly and with no hard turning. ANTIQUE DIETZGEN CAST IRON DRAFTING TABLE INDUSTRIAL AGE STEAMPUNK
A rare Dietzgen drafting table with a cast iron base. Our research shows it is a very early version cast only with a 213 at the base of center posts. The table is height adjustable by turning the crank and tilts by loosing a handle. The treads are not SAE/USS standard which was established in 1906 and based on this. The table is probably dated from this period. This drafting table was found sitting upside down in the loft of my friends old junkyard near Detroit. I went back later and dug up and old drafting light which is included- last picture. The light works but it needs a part on the receptacle end and there is no shroud. But at one time it apparently was mounted on the middle top of the board judging by screw holes. The light does post-date the drafting board though. The 3 foot by 6 foot table top has a lot of patina its 100+ years. ... moreWe decided to leave this original top alone except for a few minor touch-ups with varnish. At some time in the past it had several coats of varnish applied to the table top. The top at three feet wide is narrower than most later tops so its convenient to use as an kitchen island or modern living room. The table has one odd aspect. There is a section of the vertical motion range where the board has to be tilted upright otherwise the curved track ear interferes with the cross shaft of the gear mechanism. A few items were repaired; one thread on a through rod at the base. The crank handle was replaced with a very similar later crank from a vintage milling machine, however the original crank is included. The bottom tubes where people rested their feet were straightened. There is still one tube in the middle that is slightly bent. The cast iron base was repainted in semi-gloss black based on some sections of the original paint. The base and the bottom of the table were painted black many years ago and some of this repaint had chipped off so we decided to go ahead and paint the cast iron base and any iron parts on the table top. The heavy Rock Maple slab top is constructed using bolted angle irons. The table is in very good vintage condition with a few minor issues: One of the legs has a heavy weld showing and also has broken tab at the foot. The top has minor checking and a visible crack is present by one of the corners. However it is still held together tightly, thanks to the bolted angle iron construction technique. Antique Fancy Industrial Cast Iron Table/Work Bench Legs
This is an interesting pair of antique industrial cast iron work table or bench legs circa 1900. They were found with the original wooden connector bar. It is hardwood and has years of wear from feet resting on it.On the back of each leg there is a specially cast socket for the connector with a hole for screwing. To re-purpose these legs you could use or not use the connector or make a longer one to suit your concept.Each leg has an upwards curving cast iron support that is perpendicular to the leg and would add support towards the middle of your table top.Each leg measures approx. 22 7/8" high. Great for a coffee table. End table, weird chair of some kind, or other steampunk/industrial furniture! This cart is from a local furniture factory and has been used indoors. Measures 48" long X 24" wide X 14" high. With the hardware the cart measures 53" long. The large wheels are 12" in diameter and the small swivel wheels are 6" in diameter. Hardware The cast iron hardware is solid with no breaks or bends. No rust since this cart has not been used outside. All Wheels turn freely and easily. Center axle is not bent and is dead straight. Wheels are 12" for the middle ones and 6" for the end ones. Frame The frame of this cart is hardwood and solid. The wood surfaces have wear from being used in a factory. Antique SteamPunk Industrial Cast Iron Drafting Table w foot rest 1894 60" Top
This is not only an amazing piece of American Industrial Age history but a usable drafting table. Artists desk. The desk top is 60 inches by 39 inches and has a great catch lip so that if you tilt it for storage you can leave your pens etc. Marked patent March 6, 1894 The base is 26 inches wide. The foot rest is 43 1/2 inches by 5 inches. The foot rest is a really great feature. The height of the table is adjustable by just about eight inches. So where I have the base at 37 inches high I think it is meant to be adjust from about 32 to 40 inches which probably gives you a standard 42 inch table height. This table came to me in this formation from another artist. So if there were other accessories or mechanics I am not aware of what they may have been. Someone had also added a piece of wood well before my time to stabilize the one height clamp ... morebar. I replaced the top screws for ease of adjusting the table top. As you can see it goes from fully flat to an upright position with any angle in between. It stores upright for space saving in a studio. It has obvious signs of age and use by artists, with pin holes, paint marks etc. This is awesome for an 119 year old working artist table. It can be refinished, and the hardware replaced or used as it is. A great piece of furniture for a loft or studio space. I haven't used it in a decade and I need to downsize. Vintage Cast Iron Pedestal Tripod Tilt Top Base Industrial - Excellent Condition
Up for sale is a beautiful vintage cast iron tripod tilting pedestal table base. The cast iron base was in remarkably good condition considering it's age and as best I can tell still has the original finish. Usually these are totally rusted out and the paint missing. A good wash revealed a nice green patina. There is no maker mark or manufacturer name on it. But it has to be old as they haven't made anything like this in years with a cast iron base. When fully extended it is about 40" or so inches tall. The 3 tripod legs are also about 2 feet apart all the way around to give you an idea of size. I am including the 2 metal table top edges that you can put on a future top should you choose. That was the style when this was made. And it is a very nice look. VINTAGE TYPEWRITER TABLE Vintage Industrial Drop Leaf Typewriter Table. Rolling typewriter table. Wood with cast iron construction. Spins to adjust height. Height measures from 24.75" to 35.5" tall. Wood table top measures 16" long x 16" wide plus extra drop leaf table that lifts up and locks into place. Piece can easily be used without the drop leaf as well. Sits on three full swivel wheels. All original. Piece dates back to the Machine Age of the 30s/40s. Great condition. Has original tag"Satellite Adjustable Table Co- Grand Rapids. Mich" Set screw works great. Black paint is original and only shows light wear. Wheels work however are dried. Top shows scratches and could be refinished or kept with the wear for that industrial look. Vintage Cast Iron Stand. Adjustable Spring Loaded, Large Format Camera, Steam Punk Available is this Vintage Rolling Stand with cast iron base. Was used with a large format camera. Adjustable height. Spring loaded for ease in lifting heavier attachment. Top of platform adjusts from 43 1/2 inches to 58 inches. Arch is 9 1/2 inches across and is now holding a wooden camera platform. Vintage Industrial Antique Lathe Sewing Machine Age Cast Iron Table Legs Factory
You're looking at a set of rare. Antique Standard Sewing Machine Co. table legs. These cast iron legs are in great condition and are perfect for creating a standard-height(30" table. From the photos you can see that this is a particularly elegant set of legs with a nice. Wide stance. As they currently sit, the legs are 28.5" in height but this can be decreased by approx 2" by loosing bolts on both ends of the leg(see pic#6) In pic#10 you can see a chip in the mount area. This doesn't affect the stability of the table once mounted because there are plenty of other holes that are intact. Otherwise. There don't seem to be any repairs, cracks or chips.
