Up for bid is a lot of 9 original. Antique, Victorian era, ornate cast iron swing arm curtain rods. When closed they are 17 3/4" they can extend up to about 26 inches. The fancy parts are cast iron the sliding part is metal. They have most of the hooks on them but not mounting brackets. All are in very good condition. Shipping will be $17

Lot of cast iron and metal swing arm curtain rods with some hooks. There are alot of MISSING WALL BRACKETS. There are only a couple wall brackets for the white rods.The black rods all have the brackets but they are different than the wall brackets needed for the white rods so they can't be switched. Look closely at the pictures to see what is included in the auction lot. If it is not in the pictures it is missing. The white rods measure app. 15 inches and extend out to 22 inches. The black arrow rods measure 17 inches and extend out to app. 24 inches. They will all need to be cleaned or repainted since they are dingy.Dirty,chipped up and scratched. 12 antique cast iron swing arm curtain rods. 12! Rare find. Still lots of red and green paint but the gold is all but gone. All slide easily and have 4 or 5 hanging clips each. They are large and heavy. Measure 5" x 15" closed opened all the way 24" Brackets are 5" x 2" Sadly only 11 of them but should be able to find a similar replacement. THIS IS A 3 DAY AUCTION- This is a pair of antique cast iron swing arm curtain rods. Having an art nouveau designwork. Each rod is complete with it's wall brackets& curtain hooks still attached to the rods. There is some white paint on the back underside area of the wall bracket pieces. We had a very hard time capturing the correct color of the old metal surface, so it will be off in shade from the pictures, as compared to actual. Each rod measures approx. 15 1/2" in length and just under 3" wide, at it's largest points. Each has an impressed mark of"H-57" on each bracket stem piece. Up for bid is an antique set of 8 cast iron floral curtain rods. I love the design on them. There are all complete. There have some wear from over the years but are in very good condition for the age. I believe these date to the 20’s or 30’s. They could probably use a better cleaning. I could only find one break on the end piece of one of the floral ones. Some of the paint is off but I believe that is common with the age of them. Please see the picture. The measurements are: Main floral piece: 11.5 inches long· Bracket: 3.5 inches long· End piece: 4 inches long· Extending rods: 12 inches long I should also note that some of the extending rods are a little bent but I would consider them to be in very good usable shape. It is 14" long in the closed position and 19" when fully extended. There are 12 vintage brass square hanging loops and the 14 of the hard to find vintage curtain pins which fit through the square loops and onto the curtains. Two of the square hanging loops are slightly smaller than the other 10 and I doubt you would see any difference when they are hanging. The 10 squares measure 1 1/4" top to bottom and the 2 squares measure 1" top to bottom. There is no wall mounting hardware with this item. Also included is an orphan curtain hook which is somewhat ... morelarger. This swing arm is in very good condition considering it's age. The cold paint red and green detail is very clear with some of the gold rubbed off slightly in places. The rod itself shows the usual loss of paint due to decades of brass rings rubbing against it. 4 Antique or vintage Cast Iron Extending Swing Arm Curtain Rods Hangers Brackets
Up for sale are 4 cast iron swing arm style curtain rods with mounting brackets. They are extendable. I'm not certain of the age. They were in a box along with much more cast iron window hardware. The box came out of a Brownstone building in Boston Ma. All the items are antique or vintage. But I'm not an expert, so please look at the pics and decide for yourself. The rods are mostly black with some brassy tones showing through. The overall length of the rods are approximately 15.75" when collapsed. 23" overall when expanded. The rod part is 12" when closed and up to 19" or so inches when extended. These rods are a bit tough to extend or contract. But they still work. I lightly sprayed the mating parts with wd40 to get them moving, so there may be a slight residue to wipe off, but I did a pretty good job of freeing ... morethem up and wiping off extra wd40. Lovely pair of Art Deco Swing Arm Drapery/ Curtain Rods with fabulous cast iron detail on the tips. Each rod measures about 15 inches long. And extends to abut 22 inches long. The cast iron detail is about 3 inches long. On the end of the rod These drapery rods are beautifully detailed. With flowing wing-like leaves accenting a wild rose shape. They have original paint. Done in tones of red/ pink and green, with gold highlights. The rods have black paint with a gold wash. These are in very good used condition. Vintage pair of swing arm curtain rods. Each 15" long, 4 1/2" high, bracket rod is 1 7/8" Original light green finish, hasn't been repainted, lovely vine and leaf pattern. Rods are magnetic, they may be cast iron, or pot metal, heavy, some spots, but no corrosion, warps or bends, cracks or breaks. No hanger brackets. While the brackets are gone. This is an antique cast iron bracket for most likely swing arm type curtain rods but this could also be used.if the measurements are correct.a bracket for an antique oil lamp holder(or plant holder as more commonly used for these days) It is cast iron with an old gold paint which has mellowed down to resemble brass. Pr. of antique swing arm curtain rods, extendable, cast iron and metal
This pair of old curtain rods have a wonderful south pacific flare with the cast iron adornment of hand painted green leaves and burgundy berries. Each rod has 6 metal rings to attach the curtain and will swing away from the window when mounted. They extend out to approx. 25" from tip of finial to back of rod. The cast iron decoration is approx. 11 1/4" long and 3 3/4" tall at back of rod. Included are four extra pieces which were with the set of curtain rods when I purchased them from an estate sale. I found no visible markings to identify the manufacturer. These curtain rods are in the same antique condition as when I purchased them. The paint is old and rubbed off in many places. Antique Pair of Victorian Cast Iron Swing Arm Curtain Brackets - Stock # J1753
Up for auction is a great pair of Antique Victorian Cast Iron Swing Arm Curtain Brackets. Originally painted black at one time and some of the paint has worn off and there is a light coating of rust showing through the non painted areas. There are no cracks or damaged areas. There is no mounting bracket to mount them to the wall. The brackets measure 17 1/2" long x 4 1/4" high and the swing pin is 1 7/8" long x 3/8" dia. These can be repurposed or used as intended.
