Vintage white with red trim enamel porcelain top kitchen table with chrome hairpin legs and utensil drawer. 1940's kitchen table that is very sturdy& heavy. Looks like someone painted the non-enamel/chrome part at one time. Legs have light surface rust. I looked carefully at the table top and all four corners have places that are chipped. The tabletop has chipped places on the left and right corners of the white part of the tabletop in the front. Looks like the left front of the wooden part of the table had some moisture damage at one time. There is a an approximately 3" crack in the surface wood on the left front of the table bottom. A custom made kitchen hang light fixture which is made of an antique single tree yoke and vintage baked porcelain enamel kitchen dishes, and the set also includes a set of vintage baked porcelain enamel dishes which are four plates, four cups, a coffee pot with the lid, a square oven pan and a round oven pan with the lid and a bowl which is not seen in the pictures and also the salt and pepper shakers that you see in the pictures. The table measures 40" in length and 25" in width with out the leaves or 45" with the leaves the leaves are 10" ... morewide each, and it is 30 3/4" in height. the table has a couple of blemishes around the edges of it but nothing really damaging and the legs have minor ware on them but they cleaned pretty nice and the paint on the wood part of the table has a little ware but not much, but everything on the table is original and over all it is in good condition. As for the chairs i have had the off white backing on the chairs reupholstered because the original backing was torn but i did stick to the same color and i also added the off white tips to the legs on the chairs and some of the buttons were replaced on the back of the chairs when they were reupholstered, but over all the chairs cleaned up real nice and are in good condition as well. The light fixture measures 28 1/4" in length and hangs about 26" from the ceiling and the shades measure 10" in diameter and are in good condition they have no damage and the fixture has been made and the concept is put together but it does need to be wired and mounted the way one would like it personally so it has been made but needs to be worked on by the buyer. Ohio prior to the building being demolished. The school was built in 1923, and this cabinet was located in the third floor science lab. It has 24 drawers( 12 on each side) with the original brass numbered labels and locks, as well as the original oak drawer pulls. There are also 2 doors on each side, and the interior space between them runs the width of the cabinet. There is also a long, narrow drawer in one end. The feet have protective cast brass covers that also allow for the cabinet to be screwed to the floor, if necessary. This piece was made by Berger Manufacturing ... moreof Canton, Ohio. Their name and Berloy trademark is on each drawer label. They manufactured all types of fixtures for schools and industrial use, such as file cabinets and shelving. The numbers on the drawers add a somewhat whimsical touch, as they do not run in numerical sequence. This piece could be used in many ways. Not only as a unique kitchen island, but also in a sewing or crafting room. There's lots of room to work and lay things out on the top, and obviously plenty of storage area. For ease in moving, the top can be removed and the drawer section can be removed from the base/ leg section. Three sections are much easier to move than one large piece. Dimensions: Overall length is 6 feet, width is 47 1/2 inches and height is 36 inches. VINTAGE 1940 Kitchen Dining Table WHITE BLUE ENAMEL TOP Old One Family
Enamel top kitchen dining table at least 70 years old. Vintage item is in vintage condition. I think the sides were white but are now yellow. One corner has been repaired with screws. There are some cracks in some of the boards. Some rust on the aluminum legs; nothing that is deep rust damage. Pretty much surface. The drawer has all of the pieces but has a small nail holding it shut. The leaves seem to stay up in place when pulled out. This table was new in 1940 or right before or after. The enamel top. It is enamel on some type of metal, I believe, is in VERY GOOD CONDITION. The table edge is blue with a white top disected with a diamond pattern of blue lines. I have not seen any chips. There are some black rub marks, but I know that they can be cleaned off because I have cleaned some of them. this piece could easily be restored or the bottom ... morecould be replaced with a wonderful forties enamel top. I have owned this table for about ten years. I have seen many in this style. But none with chrome legs. It has double drop leafs that work as they should. It also has a storage drawer. I do not believe this item would be practical to ship, but it can be disassembled and probably be ship via fed ex for around $40-$50. VINTAGE 1940 ENAMEL-TOP KITCHEN TABLE w/ LEAVES WHITE/RED TRIM AND CHAIRS
Cool Benjamin Crysteel vintage enamel-top kitchen table with two fully functional extensions. Size is 25x40 inches folded. 45x40 inches with both leaves extended. The top has a red and white diamond/geometric pinstripe design with solid red edging. The legs look to be chrome or chrome plated underneath black paint, and they have some rust spots. There is a divided cutlery drawer with vintage oilcloth drawer liner in place. The wooden frame of the table is in good condition, no cracks or splits, and it has been repainted at least once in its history. The table is heavy and sturdy. It is dated February of 1940 on its underside, along with the Benjamin Crysteel stamp. It has some minor wear, scratches, and 2 chips(see pics- commensurate with use) but it is in great overall condition for being nearly 75 years old! Incredible work of art.steampunk. Industrial desk, loft furniture,work bench, table, machine age, reclaimed wood. Perfect as a sideboard. Kitchen island, desk, workbench, table, bar height table I was given the chance to salvage anything I wanted from a small barn that was going to be demolished. The barn was right here in my home town of Fox River Grove. Illinois. This workbench was one of many treasures I acquired. It was in rough condition when I rescued it. I knew I could restore it to full glory. I think it came out spectacular, however you will be the judge, perhaps it will speak to you like it does to me! This is built like a battleship. The industrial grade frame is fantastic, it reminds me of a steel bridge.with the large rivets and big bolts&nuts.A few of the nuts are missing below the top, it has no effect on strength.there ... moreare so many other bolts&nuts holding the top in place, as I said built like a battleship! The top is 3 1/4 inches thick. Made of a total of 3 layers of wood. Uner the 3/4"thick oak strip top are 2 thick layers of planks, the front and side edges of the piece are covered in pine. I love the incredible patina of all of the wood including stains. Nail& screw holes, oak pegs, pinholes, orange-ish stain area on left side of top, there is even an area on the front left trim where the wood was charred from being burned(it is sealed with varnish and looks great)no doubt a torch was used to repair/weld something.The top has some waviness/wear as you would expect with age, it just adds to the wonderful character. The patina is second to none.patina like this can only be created by years& years of use and hundreds of projects being done on this bench I restored the entire bench by hand. I added some of the solid oak pegs in the top to seal old holes. The entire bench has been hand sealed with varnish. Everything including the underside of the top. The entire metal frame has been sealed, making it easy to wipe clean. the top was sealed with many, many coats of hand rubbe

Vintage Industrial Wood Reclaimed Lista Work Bench Kitchen Island Table
History Recently finished vintage industrial work bench that has been repurposed into a kitchen island. The island started with a vintage Lista Deluxe work bench from an old factory. The legs have been cleaned of paint and clear coated over bare metal. The original Bally butcher block top has been resurfaced and treated with spoon oil but still retains its character while being food safe. Two of the Colson casters are locking, they all feature grease fittings on both the wheel bearing and the swivel raceway. Please let us know if you would like any additional pictures.
