The only defect I can find is a small chip in one of the wheels.see the photo) I'm not sure if it's an old chip or defect in the casting. This is a beautiful example of the industrial carts made in the first decade or two of the twentieth century. I have added a salvaged wood top in my professional woodworking shop. Where it was in use for decades. It almost certainly dates to the construction of the industrial complex my shop is in, built in the teens. All the running gear are in good order. Vintage Industrial Adjustable Work Bedside Vanity Sideboard Hospital Table
For sale is an awesome adjustable table most likely from the 30's or 40's. A very nice patinated former hospital bedside table that raises up and down from 31" to 48" It measures 16" deep x 52' wide. It has a vanity mirror that flips up with a storage tray and a bookstand that can be positioned at an angle. There is normal wear to a piece of this age. The finish on top is worn but still has nice color with some bruising to the left side. It was supplied by the Abbey Richmond Inc. Hospital Equipment and Supplies and still retains its original tag. The table is raised by turning the handles and they then lock into the hooks. On the front are two cracks under the top shown in the pictures, it does not effect the strength of the table. This 1920s ISIS German industrial cast iron drafting table is all complete and in great condition. It features the original pencil tray. Drafting arm, 5” locking casers, C clamps for holding down an art board with a smooth surface. The counter weights are perfectly balanced for ease of motion when raising, lowering, or tilting the top. The top can be angled horizontally flat, vertically straight, and everything in between. It also features a foot peddle for locking-in the correct height of the table and a hand knob for locking-in the correct angle. French Industrial Hure Dining / Restaurant Pub Table Vintage
I have a love for the old cast iron bases made from the late 1800s to the 1940s. A French machinist named P. Hure built many different lathes and milling machines that stood on them. They are rare and very hard to find. Especially in America, so I built this base as a tribute to him. It’s built with 1/4″ thick steel which is the heaviest gauge we’ve used to date. And the large connecting screw has a 2″ diameter with a 3″ nut that holds the two bases together. It’s massive and curvy lines blend well to support the 2 3/4″ thick worn oak top which is adorned with metal trim and bolted corner protectors. The base is a cast iron pedestal from a metal working lathe from 1942. The door on the front opens. The original layers of paint are still there with a different shade showing thru in various spot from many years of use. The cast iron has been cleaned and lightly waxed to bring out its full character. The top is from a retired Patternmakers shop and was turned on a large wood lathe many years ago. It was a blank intended to be shaped into a pattern to make a mold to be poured in metal but was never used. It is built up from many layers of dense plywood with a top layer of fir in a pie wedge design for stability. Holes have been plugged. Vintage Stacor Industrial Drafting Table 38"x60" Tilts/Height Adjusts Deco

Also please note that I have the board on wrong for the pictures. It needs spun 180 degrees. It is heavy. The board alone weighs 53 lbs and the base is at least another 200 lbs-feels more like 250 lbs to me. It has some light rust and needs cleaned up. Most of the board is in good shape but there are 2 gouges in it that are 1" to 1 1/4" down from what should be the top edge. There is an electrical outlet on the one side that accepts 3 plugs. This needs new wiring run to it as the old wiring looks rough. When set with the wood table horizontal the height adjusts from 36 1/2" fully down to 45 1/2" fully up. It also may be tilted 90 degrees. ... moreTilt and height are controlled by the 2 step pedals on the bottom and both the tilt and height stay in place once you set them. The board itself is 1" thick by 60 1/4" long by 38" deep. Counting the metal strips on the bottom it is 40 1/2" deep. The metal table top underneath is 32 1/4" tall by 18 1/4" deep by 48 1/4" long. You'll probably want to hit the top with a sander and recoat it before use. There are a few tack holes but not many. Also you'll want to replace some of the wood screws that hold the top fast to the frame with the next size bigger screw as a couple of the holes are worn some. Tough to find late 1930's Howell table/ desk designed by Wolfgang Hoffmann. Top measures 36" x 24" and the height is 29" Original metal plating. Screws, end caps and pained wood top. Could be easily modified into a console table with a different longer and more narrow top. Very similar to streamline modern steel furniture designed by Gilbert Rohde for Troy Sunshade, KEM Weber for Lloyd and the furniture sold by Royalchrome and Mckay. Vintage Industrial Dining Table Kitchen Island Toledo Stool Cast Iron Legs Bar
You're looking at a custom. One-of-a-kind, vintage industrial dining table/ kitchen island/ bar with gorgeous age. This piece contains no new parts whatsoever and was constructed using repurposed butcher block and an antique cast iron base salvaged from an old piece of(printing) machinery. It was made with Toledo stools in mind though any stool with a decent height would work. Seats 8+ adults comfortably. The 2" thick butcher block table top was cleaned. Sanded, stained in walnut and given 3 applications of polyurethane to seal it. You can see from the photos, the superb character of the wood. The 80+ year old base shows minimal signs of age and contains its original moving gears. No rust. A very unique. Amazing vintage Emmert Drafting Table! Only one of five known to exist. This table is in near perfect, vintage condition. The table is complete with it's adjustable cast iron base, wood drawer, very clean drafting surface and all the hardware that helps it tilt, rotate, raise and lower. The drafting machines on top came with the table, although I do not think they are original to it. I will post more pictures soon, just need to move this very rare and heavy table inside to a brighter location. Here is a nice Old Vintage UHL TOLEDO Table! Industrial heavy duty construction with wood top! Measures approx 22 1/2"L x 19 1/2"W X 26"H and very heavy! Has a working lever underneath which raises the wheels so the tables weight is on the steel ball feet for stability. When you wish to move the reverse happens by moving the lever. Is in very good condition with no major issues. Scratches. Some rust here and there, mostly around the steel ball feet, but nothing out of the ordinary. Wood surface has some discoloration(see pic) like an outline where something may have rested on it for a long time. Up for auction is a vintage cast iron industrial table base. This table is equipped with 4 swing arm swivel stools. The table base is in original condition with no breaks to the legs or decorative connecting piece. The stools swivel as they should and are in good working condition. The maple stool tops are original and will probably need to be reglued at the seams. The base has surface rust and it will be up to the buyer to refinish as they choose. The base is 53" long. 24" wide and 29" tall. I have 2 of these table bases and together you could make a 10' table. Here's a vintage E.H. Sheldon drafting table from the 1930's. It is a great candidate for restoration. When I purchased it some years ago it came with some extra pieces shown in the photo. It was made sturdy. As you will see if you google some of the old EH sheldon ads from the'30's. The drawers are dovetailed. The top of one of the drawers has been cracked off, but the piece has been saved and coud easily be glued back on. The rear of the cabinet has a hole in it as seen in the pic. I bought this drafting table from a individual who inheriated it from his grandfather who intern recieved it from a dayton Ohio firm when he retired in the early 60's so the story goes. The drafting table does not show any lableing regarding the manufacture but it is clearly an antique. The diminsions: Table Top 60" Long x 36" Wide x 1" Thick. When cranked all the way down with the table top flat it sit approximately 35" above the floor. When cranked all the way up with the table top flat it sit approximately 47" above the floor. To raise and lower the drafting you release the pressure by turning a spicket type handle see picture number 9. Then you turn the wheel see picture 9 and then 11 for close up. Once you have the drafting table at the desired ... moreheight you turn the spicket clockwise to apply pressure to the mechanism to secure the desired height. The drafting table angles approximately 80 degrees in both directions. Again you use a spicket type handel see picture 10 turning counterclockwise which releases the pressure on the drafting table top mechinism then you push or lift the drafting table top to the angle you want and then you turn the spicket handle clockwise to to apply pressure to secure the angle of the drafting table top. Vintage factory Industrial work table cast iron legs 72 x 36 Rock Maple slab top
Of early 1900 vintage. Industrial work table with wooden top and green painted cast iron legs, marked 17Z35. Recovered from an old factory located in Ligonier, Indiana. The heavy Rock Maple slab top is constructed using bolted angle irons. The table is in very good vintage condition with a few minor issues: One of the legs has a heavy weld showing and also has broken tab at the foot. The top has minor checking and a visible crack is present by one of the corners. However it is still held together tightly, thanks to the bolted angle iron construction technique.
