I bought this drafting table from a individual who inheriated it from his grandfather who intern recieved it from a dayton Ohio firm when he retired in the early 60's so the story goes. The drafting table does not show any lableing regarding the manufacture but it is clearly an antique. The diminsions: Table Top 60" Long x 36" Wide x 1" Thick. When cranked all the way down with the table top flat it sit approximately 35" above the floor. When cranked all the way up with the table top flat it sit approximately 47" above the floor. To raise and lower the drafting you release the pressure by turning a spicket type handle see picture number 9. Then you turn the wheel see picture 9 and then 11 for close up. Once you have the drafting table at the desired ... moreheight you turn the spicket clockwise to apply pressure to the mechanism to secure the desired height. The drafting table angles approximately 80 degrees in both directions. Again you use a spicket type handel see picture 10 turning counterclockwise which releases the pressure on the drafting table top mechinism then you push or lift the drafting table top to the angle you want and then you turn the spicket handle clockwise to to apply pressure to secure the angle of the drafting table top. Antique Cast Iron Wood Adjustable Drafting Table Vintage Steampunk Industrial
Antique Drafting Table An all-original cast iron and wood drawing stand/drafting table. The solid wood top measures 21¼" x 23¼" and tilts up and lies flat. With the table flat the adjustable height is from approximately 23" to 41½" above finished floor. I cannot read what the company name on the label but it was made in Chicago. Everything works well and the condition is good with minor imperfections due to age and wear with minor oxidation and usage marks in the wood. The cast iron is free from chips, breaks or repairs and has some minor paint loss.

Antique Vintage Industrial solid wood oak Cast Iron Drafting Table art drawing
The top of the work table has shallow scratches. Other than that, this piece is in good condition and moves freely to tilt. There are two spots on the base that seem to be where a plate or tag of some sort was attached by the manufacturer. One is circular like that used by Frederick Post company, the other is rectangular(please see photos) however I cannot find anywhere indicating the manufacturer, although the style is similar to Post tables. I am unsure of the type of wood, it looks like oak, but the base is a bit darker than the top, unless the top has been refinished at some point. This impressive rare vintage lab table originated in a school science lab. It was produced in the 1920's by E. H. Sheldon Co.out of Muskegon. Mi. E H Sheldon went into business in 1898 and was one of the pioneers of modern laboratory furniture. It stands 33" tall and has a gorgeous 60" x 42" wood top that is edged with stunning brass. The drawers measure 14" x 13" x 4" and it has platforms that pull out 24" from the table. The cabinets measure 19" x 23" x 13" It is missing two top platforms and only has two of the original swing stool brackets available. Vintage Antique Architects Drafting Table with Industrial Cast Iron Base
This Cast Iron Architect’s Table has a 36 in. by 42 in. wood top. The base is 27 ½ in. by 37 in. with an overall length of 43 in. when measured at the handle. The height extends from about 38 in. to 48 in. and the surface can be tilted. About a hundred years old. It is in good sturdy working condition with these signs of wear: The wood top is solid with marks, scuffs, and stains with a very slight warp to the surface. The base has paint loss and a tight crack in the casting that does not affect its function or strength. One locking handle was replaced by a bolt and can be adjusted with a wrench. A foot has a chip on the bottom but is still sturdy. The handle was not painted and may be an early replacement. Please look at the photos for condition and email any questions. The base is made of solid. Sturdy oak and the top is traditionally made of pine. There are a number of heavy cast iron wing nuts and glides used for adjusting its angle and height. This drafting table is fully adjustable and can be tilted along an approximately 320 degree axis. Incredible work of art.steampunk. Industrial desk, loft furniture,work bench, table, machine age, reclaimed wood. Perfect as a sideboard. Kitchen island, desk, workbench, table, bar height table I was given the chance to salvage anything I wanted from a small barn that was going to be demolished. The barn was right here in my home town of Fox River Grove. Illinois. This workbench was one of many treasures I acquired. It was in rough condition when I rescued it. I knew I could restore it to full glory. I think it came out spectacular, however you will be the judge, perhaps it will speak to you like it does to me! This is built like a battleship. The industrial grade frame is fantastic, it reminds me of a steel bridge.with the large rivets and big bolts&nuts.A few of the nuts are missing below the top, it has no effect on strength.there ... moreare so many other bolts&nuts holding the top in place, as I said built like a battleship! The top is 3 1/4 inches thick. Made of a total of 3 layers of wood. Uner the 3/4"thick oak strip top are 2 thick layers of planks, the front and side edges of the piece are covered in pine. I love the incredible patina of all of the wood including stains. Nail& screw holes, oak pegs, pinholes, orange-ish stain area on left side of top, there is even an area on the front left trim where the wood was charred from being burned(it is sealed with varnish and looks great)no doubt a torch was used to repair/weld something.The top has some waviness/wear as you would expect with age, it just adds to the wonderful character. The patina is second to none.patina like this can only be created by years& years of use and hundreds of projects being done on this bench I restored the entire bench by hand. I added some of the solid oak pegs in the top to seal old holes. The entire bench has been hand sealed with varnish. Everything including the underside of the top. The entire metal frame has been sealed, making it easy to wipe clean. the top was sealed with many, many coats of hand rubbe

For auction is one beautiful vintage solid pine antique workbench. It has been thoroughly cleaned and detailed. The top is made ofsolid 1.25" thick solid pine planks with a nicely weathered piece of Masonite over it with a semigloss sheen. It is very sturdy and has two drawers with gorgeous oval bronze pulls. There are holes here and there on the top from where vices and the like were at one time bolted. The pine is older growth and is free of knots. The industrial grade frame is fantastic, it reminds me of a steel bridge.with the large rivets and big bolts&nuts.A few of the nuts are missing below the top, it has no effect on strength.there are so many other bolts&nuts holding the top in place, as I said built like a battleship! The top is 3 1/4 inches thick. Made of a total of 3 layers of wood. Uner the 3/4"thick oak strip top are 2 thick layers of planks, the front and side edges of the piece are covered in pine. I love the incredible patina of all of the wood including stains. Nail& screw holes, oak pegs, pinholes, orange-ish stain area on left side of top, there is even an area on the front left trim where the wood was charred from being burned(it is sealed with varnish and looks great)no doubt a torch was used to repair/weld something.The top has some waviness/wear as you would expect with age, it just adds to the wonderful character. The patina is second to none.patina like this can only be created by years& years of use and hundreds of projects being done on this bench I restored the entire bench by hand. I added some

Antique Railroad Cart With Inset Glass Up for your consideration is this re-purposed railroad cart/factory cart. These carts had many of uses in the past and many are still used in factories. The carts are from the early 1900's. They are very solid and the reason they are still around and being used. Kick back with this very cool and unique table. This table is classy enough to go anywhere in a home. A lot of hours went into the table and am very happy with the results. I took off all the boards and started by picking the best boards to reuse. The boards were turned on the sides and two boards make up the two ends. This was an enjoyable project and happy with the way it turned out. Being able to see the wheels through the glass is very nice. These cast iron wheels have the unique circular pattern. The four cast iron wheels are original ... moreto the this cart. All four wheels are exactly how they were found. The wheels were only cleaned with a light soap and water. No harsh chemicals have been used, at all. None of the iron parts have been painted or coated. The corner brackets were added. Which came off of another cart similar to this one. The brackets have been lightly coated to preserve the patina. The coating did not cause them to be super shinny. All the wood is original to this cart. Which includes the wood frame. A couple coats of Polyurethane have been applied to the wood. A matte finish has been used so it does not have a super shinny finish which you often see. The pictures are not the greatest. Took them in the room where the finish was applied and not outside. More pictures can be sent upon request. A quarter inch glass is used in the middle. The cart is 62" at the longest stretch. From one corner bracket to the other. The wood frame the long way is 53" The glass is 38 1/2" at the longest stretch. Going the other way the widest point is 30 1/2" The glass is 21 1/2" wide. I will deliver to many parts of Wisconsin. ANTIQUE VINTAGE KARLO INDUSTRIAL STEAMPUNK ART DECO TYPEWRITER STAND TABLE
You are Bidding on an Antique KARLO cast iron typewriter base stand from c.a. 1920. It was manufactured by Karl Manufacturing Company in Grand Rapids. Michigan. You are buying the stand that doesn't have a top on it. I originally purchased it to put a Butcher Block on it, but never got around to do it. There are many things it could be used for. The original top was 16" x 22" But it is sturdy enough to hold a much larger& heavier top. The piece that holds the top is 7" x 10" You are buying this without a top. It has a decorated fluted base that adjusts from 26" to 38" The base has 3 legs and is about 18 inches across. All of the pieces and parts are there. The paint is worn off in many places and it does have surface rust. It has great patina. It could be painted very easy if that's the way you want ... moreto go. It is very heavy solid cast iron. The Butcher block wood has been cleaned and sanded from industrial machine grease ect. yet still retains original dings. Dents, scratches and even the remnant pattern of a fossilised gear to maintain the industrial old world charm and cool of the piece. Overall good average condition. Antique Vintage 20s Industrial Wood & Cast Iron Desk Table NICE!
This is a fabulous vintage 20s industrial school desk. It is made of cast iron with a wood top. It has many uses. As a table or storage piece. The desk measures 30" tall, it is 23-3/4" wide and 18" deep. The height can be adjusted. It has a pencil tray and it has a knob brace to hold the top open. It is in excellent condition. On inspection it shows some vintage scuffs or scratches and a stain. There is a split to the wood on the left side and there are screw holes on the upper right top.
