Bottom of front legs have brass hardware on feet Dimensions: Depth-13 1/2" from wall to front drawer) Width in the front 16" Width in the back 20" Height-27" Condition: This is an antique that has flaws and some scratches. We are pleased to offer this beautiful pair of antique(c1920s) French tables or nightstands. This pair. In Louis XV style, features beautiful Rosewood with Burl inlay veneers. There is gold gilt paint which separates the two woods and which adds to the beauty and character of the tables. Ornate brass accents the wood. There is a pierced brass raised trim which borders most of the top circumference. There are large brass rosette swags/drops on each side of the drawer areas. The front legs of the table have large brass accents on their lower sections. The tables are more oval than round. They each have 3 functional drawers which are wood, not a composite. The tables are finished in a high gloss so they do have a wonderful sheen. The tables are in very good antique condition. We are pleased to offer this antique to vintage coffee table. STUNNING burled mahogany veneer encompasses the entire table top. The grain pattern is quite striking. The top is elongated and scalloped. The edge of the top features a black painted trim. The top is skirted. The table column is substantial and rounded. There are 4 large. Carved acanthus leaves featured here. The relief areas in between the leaves has a hammered texture with the black paint repeated here. There are 4 substantial legs, which feature a scrolled design. Again, the inner sections of the scrolls have a hammered texture and again, are finished in a black paint. The table is quite beautiful. It is stained in a medium to dark brown(except for the painted sections) The table is in very good condition. It’s a beautiful example of cabinet work from England, with a match burl veneer top, and the cross banded outside edge. When the center back cabriole leg is pulled out, it opens a dovetail drawer compartment for storing your game supplies, and the green felt lined interior top is still all intact. When it’s opened, it is 30 inches round, has 1.5 inches of straight grain walnut all the way around, and all the original brass hardware is intact. The only thing we’ve done is re-spray the top to make the burl walnut jump out. When closed, the table measures 30 inches wide, 15 inches deep, and 29.75 inches tall. When opened it is 30 x 29. This is three pieces of furniture in one: a demi-lune table when it is closed up, a display piece when the flip top is flipped up and leaned against the wall, or a game or card table, or even a dainty brunch table. Antique Schmieg& Kotzian of New York georgian style set of 3 nesting tables with burlwood tops. The firm of Schmieg& Kotzian of New York was established in1910. They became extremely well known for exquisite design. Superior craftsmanship and outstanding quality furniture. They also were well known for their ability to obtain the best and the rare and exotic woods. This is an original set of 3 nesting Walnut tables that slide into one another. Tops of the tables are made from gorgeous Burled Walnut veneer. Each table has slightly different wood grain that was chosen so artfully that they compliment each other and create stunning results! The tables are in great condition and were VERY WELL preserved through the years. The top, or largest tabletop is just a shade darker than the smaller 2, as would be expected from age. The lower cross ... morebrace on the bottom of the smallest table(see photo) is broken off. But included for future repair. There are very few minor marks on the tables that you would expect from furniture of this age. The 1st table is 22 ½" high. The top is 17 ½" x 13" The 2nd table is 21 ½" high.
