Among other oddities(where are the Great Lakes? While it is signed in plate“Henrico Hondio 1631. this is actually a Jan Jansson map(Amsterdam) printed in 1641. This masterwork of cartography is in good condition with significantly faded coloring of the continents; however. There is remaining color to the cartouche sections as evidenced in the photos. It was long-housed in a frame behind glass. Which has held its quality very nicely. Condition report: the engraving shows very minor toning. Light foxing and fading. There are losses to the top left corner. Photos provide evidence of condition. Which I would grade as good. Please request additional details if you would like. Note there is no obvious watermark to this work. Though the lines from laid paper manufacture are present when held to light. It also appears to be cut within the margins of the plate. This is the read edition Reading for Detail board game. Included are the game board. 5 0f 6 game markers or pieces, 72 story cards(each has 4 questions) 2 spinners and the answer key. This helped my son get details out of his reading and pushed him to the next level quickly and it was also a fun game. It is in good condition, question cards are not bent up, answer key is wrinkled but not torn and very readable.
