Maple 4-drawer dresser with mirror, excellent condition, Ethan Allen I believe
I was given this chest of drawers in high school in 1956. It is solid wood and extremely sturdy. It is maple but in the 70s I stained the chest a darker color. The original color can be seen on the mirror and inside of the drawer. You could remove the stain if desired. There are no stains or defects. I remember it was a name brand like Ethan Allen. But I cannot find it on the chest. A gift of this chest of drawers would last another lifetime!

Here you will be buying a"Dark Wood 4 Draw Dresser" This is a nice dresser that I believe is Walnut. It has one draw over 3 drawers. It has brass like handles on the 3 draws with a lip under the top draw for easy pull out. The top draw also comes with a built in divider. It has a column like design on both sides of the front with spindle like legs. The dove tail drawers date this to the fifties. Maybe sixties but it could be late forties as well. Not really sure. It does have some light surface scratches, and what appears to be 2 plug filled holes on its top. It also has a small split on the top(see picture) but nonetheless it maintains its integrity and is well made. The dresser measures 37 1/2 inches wide x 43 1/2 high x 21 inches deep. Vintage Mid Century Modern Highboy Tallboy Dresser Chest 4 Drawer Bassett
This is a vintage modern bedroom 4 drawer dresser. Made by Bassett. The frame is solid wood, painted black, and the drawers are wood, with a natural wood walnut veneer. Looks very similar in style to some very high end designer pieces produced by milo baughman and Robert baron for Glenn of California. The back is unfinished. Stamped with a code by the manufacturer, and has a 3" hole that has been patched up. However, since the dresser sits against a wall, the hole will never be seen. The top drawer slide runner is damaged, so the top drawer doesn't slide perfectly, but is still completely functional. Top drawer also has small nail holes on top and bottom edge, but Arnt really noticeable during day-to-day use. Vintage Paine Furniture Co., Two-Tone Wooden 4 Drawer Dresser / Buffet
This belonged to my fiancé's mother. It was manufactured by the Paine Furniture Company. Boston, Mass. I believe it is mahogany. The drawers are dovetail construction, and there are dust panels separating the drawers. It measures 50" long by 21.5" deep by 35" tall. The 2 small drawers on top measure 20.75" wide by 17.25" deep, the 2 bigger drawers measure 43" wide by 17.25" deep. It has tall, detailed legs. The finish is rough, there are scuffs, scratches and some stains, but it has good bone structure. There are 2 cutouts on the back of the top to install a mirror or hutch, but I do not have the mirror. The legs are nice, turned wood. The front legs have a little more character than the rear ones.
