Vintage Amberina Glass Drapery Curtain Tie Backs- Beautiful! Ruby Red- Amber I am no glass expert but I believe these are a relatively uncommon find. These tie backs are just beautiful! They have ruby red and amber/yellow tones typical of amberina glass. There are no posts with them. They are in great condtion but have a few defects: 1. The one in the 3rd picture has an abrasion in the glass in the center hole where the post goes but is not cracked 2. This same tie back has 1 chip at the tip of one of the flower petals- plainly seen in pics 6-9 3. There other tie back has a chip in the center of one of the round balls that surround the center of the flower- see pics 10-12. The back sides have swirls in the glass but this is typical in the making of old glass I believe. I do my best to describe my items but I am not perfect. These tie back ... moreare in fact vintage. Not mint. They are used but still gorgeous! The defects do not detract from their beauty or functionality. Please ask questions! For your consideration is this lot of 4 antique glass curtain tie backs or towel rings. They could be used as towel rings. But the brackets are upside down for that purpose, so we believe they are to be used as curtain rings or tie backs. They are very elegant and would add a very nice touch to any classic room. There is a floral design along the bottom of each ring, which includes flowers connected by a ribbon and bow. The measurements are 4" outside diameter, 2-7/8" inside diameter and the brackets are approximately 5-1/2" long. Please see photos as one of the rings does have a small chip by the screw that affixes it to the bracket. The brackets are not perfect, they are used and an older vintage item, so they do show signs of wear. This item is used and although we try to find all condition issues. Antique/Vintage Curtain Tie Backs-Red and Green Star Shapes-3 Nail & Screw Backs
The heads of these 3 are 2 different styles but they are similar in design. I believe these are mid-century reproductions of Victorian era tie backs. The main reason I say that is that these are lighter weight. And have lucite or plastic heads, or the glass is so light. The last batch I sold, the buyer told me they WERE glass! I leave it to your opinion. The designs are very much like their antique and they do have some age on them. The straight nail form shaft is 2 3/4" long on two. The heads are approx. 1" in diameter. The screw shaft is only 1 1/2" long. They all have star shapes, but two are red and one is green. Great decorating accessories! We state ONLY when insurance IS included. Pay Pal only please.

Classic Vintage French Curtain Hold / Tie Back ~ Gilt Bronze ~ Roses and Bows
A vintage French curtain hold back or tie back dating from around the 1920’s. Made from bronze with gilt detail on the ornate wall bracket and end plate which features a classic rose and bow design. On the wall bracket there is a screw hole to attach the hold back to the wall. or alternatively on the back of the bracket is a small hanger through which can be threaded a hook already attached to the wall Previously very encrusted and green with age this has been cleaned by soaking in a salt and lemon juice solution to bring back the detail in the design. It measures 29cm( 11 ½” from the top to the bottom curve and is in good strong condition. although please note there are a couple of pin holes and a tiny crack in the end plate.possibly from the original casting or simply its long history. Vintage Sandwich Amberina Glass Drapery Curtain Tie Backs- Beautiful! Ruby Red- Amber I am no glass expert but I believe these are a relatively uncommon find. These tie backs are just beautiful! They measure ~ 4 3/8" in diameter They have ruby red and amber/yellow tones typical of amberina glass. There are no posts with them. They are in great condtion but have a few defects: 1. The one in the 3rd picture has an abrasion in the glass in the center hole where the post goes but is not cracked 2. This same tie back has 1 chip at the tip of one of the flower petals- plainly seen in pics 6-9 3. There other tie back has a chip in the center of one of the round balls that surround the center of the flower- see pics 10-12. The back sides have swirls in the glass but this is typical in the making of old glass I believe. I do my best to describe ... moremy items but I am not perfect. These tie back are in fact vintage. Not mint. They are used but still gorgeous! The defects do not detract from their beauty or functionality. Please ask questions! This is a great set of large Drapery tie backs. Art Deco in style. Each one has all the same pieces and all appear ready for mounting. You will only need screws There are 6 in total. You can use two at a window or can have one at a window. They are Really Long so they are going to hold back tons of material. Made out of cast Aluminum. There is nothing broken or repaired. The one shows a white area near the decorative spot. This is wear some of the paint needs cleaned and touched up. The pictures make it look much bigger and worse then it is. There is tiny spots of paint missing randomly on all of them. Three are 18 in Long and do not extend any further Three are 18 in Long and will extend to 25 in Long. However I was only able to get one to pull out that far. The other two are to tight for me to pull out and perhaps someone with some strength ... morein there fingers could get them moving. They are not damaged just snug. At Widest they are all about 2-1/4 in Each has its own decorative mounting bracket. So all you need is the screw the bracket into the wall were you like it. Each bracket takes two screws. They bracket holes are 2-5/8 in on center apart. Quality made! Once you have the brackets were you want them. The rods each have a heavy square piece that slides into the round circle on the bracket. This holds the Rods in position. and you are ready to place the curtains. Simple! Where the decorative part attaches to the back plate is loose and comes off if you twist it. If you aren't handy, Gorilla glue is the cure. This is a pair of opalescent glass curtain tie backs. They measure 4.25" each. They are in excellent condition except that one has a very small chip or imperfection near one screw well on the front. There are also several small dots of old gray paint that could be easily scratched off with the right tool. A pair of vintage brass curtain hold backs or tie backs with acanthus leaf decoration. Each having 2 holes for fixing to the wall. They differ a little bit in size- the one measures 15cm along the back and 17cm along the front. And the other one measures 16.4 cm along the back and 16.1cm along the front and they weigh both together approx. 200 gms. Set of 6 -- FIRE GILT CURTAIN TIE-BACKS -- 3.25" tall, 1.75" wide -- VINTAGE
This is a set of six(three pairs) of vintage fire-gilt bronze curtain tie-backs. Age is probably last quarter of the 19th century. But there is no maker's name. Each one is 3.25" tall. 1.75" wide with the hook protruding 1.25" from the wall. Each weighs 1.5 ounces. One has a small area of discoloration on the back. Which does not show on the front. See my photo) All are strong and without cracks. The hooks do not wobble on the back plates. I describe the items to the best of my ability, but I may miss some details which a collector or expert would look for. Items are as described. All items are pre-owned unless otherwise stated.
