Nice large matching flexible lot of old wall cleat rope hook hardware for your consideration. These might have been used at some point in their lives as a clothes line hanger for drying. These have endless possibilities for work shop for drying. Hanging, spraying etc. It looks like up to a 1/4 inch rope will fit the cleat. Each cleat measures 1 5/8 x 1 3/8 inches and 1 inch ctr to ctr for set screw holes. These look like a galvanized finish with little residual rust. Mostly old paint that would clean if you wish. I found them sitting at the bottom of one of my bins in a unused portion of the basement area. I searched the Internet and the only thing I came up with was a cast iron reproduction in which the quality of the casting was no where as good as this solid brass casting. This casting is highly detailed and ornate. The hook measures a large 7"H and projects 4 1/4" One hooks weighs 1 lb. 5 oz. It was originally designed a a hall tree hook. But can be used in any setting.on the wall or on a antique reproduction mirror or coat rack if you're into woodworking. This is one awesome hook and the 4 that I have are it. No more are avaialable. Notes: It was found amongst old tools at a local estate. The rod is welded to a shield shaped base. Size: Overall it is 15 1/8 inches long. Without the shield base, it is 14 1/8 inches long. On the base there are two holes that are 3/16 inches round. Condition: Has some scratches. Some rust, and is bent. There are no mounting screws included.
