Antique Ornate Victorian Cast Iron Hook from old Hall Tree or Mirror, need bolt
This is a beautiful old cast iron hook with four places to hang items. This antique hook is large and decorated with stylized flowers and leaves. It is marked Pat Pend on the back for patent pending. It is about 4 1/2 inches tall and 4 7/8 inches wide. We think this was originally used on an old mirror or hall tree. On the back there is a threaded hole that is about 1/4 inch in diameter. You need a bolt for the threaded hole to attach them both to a frame. We do not have the bolt.

The other has a non-threaded hole and was held in place by the first hook. You need a bolt for the threaded hole to attach them both to a frame. We do not have the bolt.

SET OF FIVE LARGE MATCHING VICTORIAN CAST IRON 5 POINT HALL TREE COAT HOOKS
Offered here are 5 hall tree coat hooks from the later 1800's. These are both heavy and ornate Victorian coat hooks from Binghamton NY area. Notice that there are 5 hanging points on each hook as well as the overall detail. These measure approximately 5" projection with a threaded rod/nut. That goes back another 1 1/2" through a board or wall. Hooks are approx 5" tall.

2 Antique wall mount coat& hat hooks. I believe they are cast iron. Very heavy metal with a smooth finish that has a silver finish. Each hook at the ornate ball is a hollow circular area 1 5/8" diameter where a rod is mounted to hang things on. No rod with the set. Very neat design. They can also just be hung as simple hooks without the rod. 5 1/2" tall x 5 1/4" projection from the wall. 2 mounting holes are 1 1/4" on center.

Up for sale is a Pair of 2 Antique Vintage Ornate Fancy Cast Iron Art Nouveau Victorian Hall Tree Furniture Coat Wall Wardrobe Hooks/ Salvaged Architectural Hardware. There are 2 matching pieces& each one is a double hook. Each on is 7 1/2" wide(side-to-side) 4 1/8" tall(not including the mounting part) The round part that mounts to the hall tree or wall is 1 1/2" in diameter. They are cast iron& feature an ornate scroll-type pattern. I don't know their exact age. Most likely from the late 1800's/ early 1900's& they have that wonderful weathered patina displaying sporadic rust& greening spots. Great replacement hooks for a hall tree missing parts. Made from a white metal material with a bronzed finish. Very heavy and high quality. I believe the hall tree was English. Condition: Overall very good. Normal oxidation from age and use. Large hooks measure 5-1/2" from wall to outer point x 7-1/2" from tip of hook to tip. Screw 2-1/4"L. Small hooks measure 5" from wall to outer point. Screw 2-1/4"L.
