This is an old pair of brass towel rod Posts or brackets. These holders are each 3- 3/4" inches tall with a base that is 2 1/4 inches in diameter. The inside diameter of the hole for the rod is 1 inch. Usually the ends of a glass towel rod are slightly tapered. So these should work with a rod that is 1 inch in diameter.

Set of 5 cast brass mounting brackets. There is a 1/2" x 1/2" square hole in each bracket where a rod would pass through. Of the 5 brackets only three hase a set screw in it that would hold the rod in place. The othere 2 have indents where they would be drilled out. Each bracket also has a screw hole on the flat mounting end. Only one screw remains. measures 2" x 1 3/8"

Up for sale 3 Matching. Vintage, Old Cast Iron, Towel Bar Brackets. Measure app. 2 7/8" tall with a base of 2 1/8" and 2 mounting holes 1 1/2" on center. Have a 3/4" hole for a towel bar. All cast iron with shabby old white or Porcelain Enamel. I am not sure which but I think that it is Porcelain. Have chips and dings but no breaks or cracks.
