These were salvaged from an old barn. They are cast iron support braces/ brackets for use on a shelf or work bench. These are very heavy and quite strong.They were used to support a work bench in the barn that had a long and heavy wood top. Each one has the two ends bent to a 45 degree angle. The top and the bottom mount flush to the wall and under the work it is supporting. They are in very good condition with no breaks. Chips or cracks in the cast iron. (4) Black Railroad Spike Rustic Barn Curtain Wrought Coat Hook antique
Rusty Pitted Rail road spikes given a second shot at life. The hooks pictured are not the ones you will get. The ones I send are very similar with slight variations due to uniqueness off the spikes. Downeaster rail road spikes heated and bent by myself 90° to form a hook. Two 5/32 holes drilled through and counter sunk so mounting screw sits flush. I then take the spikes and put them through a 48-72 hour electrolysis electric bath to get the deep down rust out of the pores of the steel. This is the only way to get the rust that a wire wheel or blasting neglects to reach. Each hook is slightly different adding to the uniqueness of each one. Some may have more pitting than others. Hooks are about 4 1/2- 4 3/4 ish inches tall and stick off the wall about 2 3/4 inches. Painted black With a clear coat.

It is 18 inches tall and 2" at its widest on the bracket itself, there is 2 prongs that are very primitive and they appear to be glued in place with liquid nail or some other compound, the prongs are uneven with one being 5" long and one at 4" long. This is an old Horse Hitching Ring It was found in a Old Blacksmith's Shop built in the mid 1800's. That was being dismantled. You can use this for many decorative purposes if you choose. It is made of Hand Forged Iron. And has the seam from where it was hammered over. It is in great shape for its age. It is 2 1/4" diameter. Inside diameter is 1 1/2" and the eye bolt is 3 1/4" long, the square nut turns freely. A hitching ring was used in a barn to tie up a horse. This antique ring could be placed on a barn door. This is a pair of old hooks. That were likely placed along 2x4s or exposed rafters for drying herbs, or other farm use-Guessing late 1890s to 1930s. Judging by the estate box these were found in. Guesstimate only. They wont tell us! Not sure of the metal. But the heavy weight suggests cast iron or early steel perhaps. Hard to tell, as these were at some point painted with a very matte whitewash or milk type paint, cannot say for sure. Would make great towel hooks if properly installed in your country bathroom. great decor for a country cabin. Rustic kitchen.
