12 antique cast iron swing arm curtain rods. 12! Rare find. Still lots of red and green paint but the gold is all but gone. All slide easily and have 4 or 5 hanging clips each. They are large and heavy. Measure 5" x 15" closed opened all the way 24" Brackets are 5" x 2" Sadly only 11 of them but should be able to find a similar replacement. I bought these for my historic home then decided not to cover the beautiful 152 year old French shutters after the renovation. Heavy. They weigh 22 pounds. THIS IS A 3 DAY AUCTION- This is a pair of antique cast iron swing arm curtain rods. Having an art nouveau designwork. Each rod is complete with it's wall brackets& curtain hooks still attached to the rods. There is some white paint on the back underside area of the wall bracket pieces. We had a very hard time capturing the correct color of the old metal surface, so it will be off in shade from the pictures, as compared to actual. Each rod measures approx. 15 1/2" in length and just under 3" wide, at it's largest points. Each has an impressed mark of"H-57" on each bracket stem piece. There have some wear from over the years but are in very good condition for the age. I believe these date to the 20’s or 30’s. They could probably use a better cleaning. I could only find one break on the end piece of one of the floral ones. Some of the paint is off but I believe that is common with the age of them. Please see the picture. Up for auction are four vintage ART DECO curtain rods and brackets. These rods are cast iron with square tubing on the extension. They feature double sided. Stylized rose and vine motifs in shades of red, gold and green. Overall size of the rods is 4 ½ x 17 inches. Each rod has a wall-mounted bracket, which allows the curtain to swing away from the window. The brackets extend 3 ½ inches from the wall and are ¾ inches wide. No mounting screws. I know these are old. But I do not know how old. I do know they are a charming piece of history, and I'd like them to go to a good home. They are intended for curtains. But I've seen similar rods hung as towel racks in bathrooms, magazine racks(one magazine one each) to hang children's artwork, and more. Get creative! Not extended. Each arm measures almost 14 inches. It seems they we're painted from golden to white. So they have a great shabby chic, antiqued look to them. Here is a tough-to-find lot of 4 pairs(8 total) of Vintage Swing Arm Curtain Rods/Brackets in very good condition. Along with 36 brass sew-on loops for the drapery panels. Like all such rods/brackets, the length is adjustable and these are from 15" to 20" bracket to tip. Note from the pic that the scroll-top bends to allow the sew-on loops to pass under it. These look great in a shabby chic or Spanish Colonial type decor on French windows. They can also be used to hang plants. There are two different patterns- two pairs of those with the multi-coloured maple leaf ends, and three pairs of those with the stylized metallic-coloured leaf ends. The maple leaf pairs when closed, measure approx. 14" long, and when fully extended, approx. 21" wide. The stylized leaf sets when closed, measure approx. 17" wide, and approx. 26" when fully extended. Some light wear to finishes, but no significant damages. All sets slide appropriately, have matching left/right panel sets. The stylized leaf sets have boxed rods and the channels are on the TOP- this means that they can be used for all right, or all left panel hangings, as needed. There is only one center bracket. This is multi colored. See pictures I Believe these are cast iron but honestly I am not sure. One rod has a slight bend in it and was readjusted. But you can see a bit of a line/crease. Curtains will hide it and it does not affect the ability to put them together. The end finials are 4.5x5.5. Rod is 1 inch in width.

4 vintage matching swing arm cast iron curtain rods, Art Nouveau style
These are two pair(four rods) of old swing arm curtain rods. They are an ornate Art Nouveau style. With lots of curves and scrolls. Each rod is 17 inches long and can extend to 22 inches long. Each rod has the 7 original hooks(I can't call them rings, because they are rectangular) that attached the curtains or drapes. These have a bronzetone finish with subtle touches of red and green. Unfortunately, there are only two brackets included.

Set If 5 Antique Vintage Curtain Rods Art Deco Art Nouveau Finial
Up for sale is this set of 5 curtain rods with decorative cast iron finials. I am not sure these vintage or antique technically. But they have a fair amount of age. While there is some wear and loss to the original paint the finials still look good. Fully collapsed these measure about 16 3/8" from the tip of the finial to the back of the mounting elbow. These are an old used item and as a result you may notice that one finial may be looser than another, or that some slide easier than others.
