Pair Antique East Lake Victorian cast iron wall mount oil lamp brackets holders
This is a pair of antique East Lake type Victorian oil lamp holders and brackets for auction. They are cast iron and are 4" across where and oil lamp would sit. They are in good condition but will need a repaint job I think. The pattern is very East Lake. The holders are identical but the brackets are different(see photo) They are just as they were when I acquired them at an estate sale.

Four Matching Antique Kerosene/Oil Lamp Wall Brackets- Brass?, Fancy Design
Four matching antique brackets for hanging oil or kerosene lamps on walls. In excellent condition. They appear to be brass, though the back sides are a darker color, with evidence of wall paint here and there, and the fronts of some show faint evidence of previous polychrome treatment- center flower design appearing reddish on one. Closer examinatin leads me to believe these are cast iron which has been painted to look like brass on the front. There is a tiny insized numeral on the back of each one, and each is different- numbers 6, 7, 8 and 9 are present. They measure 4.75" long and 1&5/8" wide.

MATCHING. SWINGING WALL-MOUNT OIL LAMP HOLDERS WITH BRACKETS Lovely cast iron wall lamp brackets protrude approximately 13 inches from the wall and that is including the swivel bracket. One flaw. The top of the bracket pin on one of the pieces is gone, but it makes no difference to the utility or function. No one will notice if, I don't believe, as it is against the wall. The base which holds the oil lamp bowl has a diameter of 4-1/2 inches at the top. There is a circular depression that is 2 inches wide to fit the base of the oil lamp and there is a nipple in the center of this depression which adds more stability. These lovely oil or kerosene lamp holders are marked with a patent date of Sept 18_ The last numbers look like 44 but that is pretty early. All original paint which looks like soft gilt. Vintage lot of 4 cast iron oil lamp wall mounted brackets. Good for parts or other projects. They are in fair condition. But the posts on the back that fit into the wall mounts are broken off each one. Have the original paint and do have some rust, I did not repaint them so it would not take away from the original look. They are each 9" tall, come out from the wall 10" and the bowls are 5" across the top, 3" across the bottom and 2" deep. I do not have the wall mounts for these. Antique Victorian Pair of Oil/Kerosene Cast Iron Lamp Wall Sconces w/Brackets
Antique Victorian Pair of Oil/Kerosene Cast Iron Lamp Wall Sconces w/Brackets These have been in my house for many. Many decades. They were at one time hanging up on my walls. I am missing one metal wick holder in one of the kerosene glass lamps- see photo. On the back of one of the brackets it says: Stover Mfg. Co. Freeport, Ill. The other bracket gives the product number as JM-27. Note: My research indicates the Stover Mfg. Co. was only in business from 1879 unti 1916, so that is the period in which these can be dated. There is some rust in the base of each cast iron bracket. Otherwise these are in excellent. Beautiful condition. The glass lamps are also in excellent condition. They are being sold"as is. Height of both pieces are identical except that one is missing the wick(as noted above) Including the lamp base. Each piece measures ... moreapproximately 13" Shipped together as a pair. Combined packaged weight will be approximately 11 lbs. so shipping will be done via Parcel Select(economy shipping) at a cost to the buyer of $23.50.
