Vintage Solid Brass Shower Curtain Hooks, Set of 19, Mid-Century
A unique vintage set of 19 solid brass shower curtain hooks. Removed from a Victorian home during renovation. Pretty scallop shell design, probably from the 1960's or 70's. The shells unscrew from the hooks, allowing the hooks to be inserted from either end. There are enough hooks in the set for a round shower curtain rod over a claw foot tub. In good vintage condition. With original patina. I've not cleaned or polished them. I'll leave it the buyer's preference. They should polish up easily, if desired. Photos are part of the description. And the swans are abotu 3.5" tall by 3.5" wide. There are some typical light scratches from use and a couple of small areas of patina. For your consideration is a set of 4 vintage curtain or drapery tie backs in a metal which appears to be a chrome plated iron. They are fashioned to look like leaves. There is quite a bit of wear as well as much splattered paint on these hold backs. Which gives them a lot of character. Each one is differently aged, and no attempt has been made to polish them. One does seem a bit brighter than the others, however. You can see the variation in the photos. These were used in a rather formal pool cabana in their earlier life.
