Vintage LARGE Antique Hand Forged Iron Hook & Ring Farm Barn Beam Pulley
Vintage Hand Forged Large Iron Hook. Eyehook, and Slide Ring. The Large hook measures 9" long and hook is 4" across. Hook opening is 2 1/2" Hook and eye were pounded from a solid piece of iron. Slid Ring looks to accomodate 3/4" to 1" cable or rope. This was most likely used in a barn as a hanger and slide for hay bales or something similar. This came out of an old Maine barn- It was rusty but I've cleaned it up some and lightly oiled it to preserve it. This is a very nice vintage large Hand Forged Iron Hook and Ring for your Collection! This is an old butcher's pulley or meat pulley. This antique pulley was designed to roll on a rod or rail. It is 15 3/4 inches long. And the wheel is 3 1/8 inches in diameter. There is some light rust. The wheel turns and the hook swivels easily.

Old Galvanized Cast Iron Pulley, for Plant or Vintage Industrial Light, Antique
This is an old galvanized cast iron pulley that screws into a wall. Beam, or ceiling. It would be great for hanging a plant on your porch or an industrial style pendant light in your loft. This old pulley is 2 13/16 inches in diameter. The total length is 6 inches, and the screw part alone is 2 inches long. Some of the galvanized(zinc) coating has worn off, and there is light rust where the finish is missing. There are also spots of old paint. It looks like it was designed to hold a 1/4 inch to 3/8 inch rope. It has a great rustic look that would go with many decorating styles.

Up for bidding is this lot of two antique items: one Hand Wrought Spring Clip and one Pulley. These came from an old house here in the Rochester area. Where they had sat for a long, long time. The Hand Wrought Spring Clip is in working condition. And has a delicate curl at the opening end. At the other end it has a hand-wrought link and mounting bracket. I assume the mounting bracket was twisted into its current shape during the removal process, but I don't know what it looked like originally. It was like that a long time before I ever saw the thing. The Pulley looks more like a manufactured piece to me(although I'm certainly no expert) It spins freely but would probably benefit from a little oiling. Nice old pulley in original condition. Has some surface rust as pictured. The hook pivot is slightly bent as shown in the last 2 pictures. Says Louden on the hook. Other numbers appearing on the item are: A60. A59, 125, PATD, K100. The hook and the pulley wheel operate freely. The wheel is steel. Everything else is cast iron.
